This is a short story that came into my head after watching the beginning of 'The Instincts.' The team is on their way to Las Vegas and Reid falls asleep in the plane. This plot happens right before the episode begins.

"Okay everyone, let's start." Hotch said picking up his copy of the case file.

"Ahh, Hotch…I don't think everyone is ready." Morgan said pointing to Reid. The genius was quietly dosing on one of the long sofas on the plane. The others looked at him for a few moments.

"Should we wake him?" Prentis asked.

"No. Let him sleep, he's been looking like he could use a few extra hours." JJ said.

"We can start without him." Hotch said. He started to brief the team on the nature of case. He had just started discussing the possible MO of the abduction site of the boy when….

"JJ…"

"Yea Spence." JJ had turned around when she heard Reid call her but only just remembered he was sleeping .

"Even geniuses talk in their sleep." Rossi said. Reid mumbled 'JJ' again.

"Wait, is he having a…a dream about me?" JJ asked looking a little stunned. The others glanced at JJ, then at Reid, then back at JJ.

"Well, who would have guessed…..Reid having dreams about a girl." Morgan said grinning.

"Derek, I'm sure it's nothing like that." JJ said, but a faint blush was appearing on her cheeks.

"Mhhh….JJ" Reid said in his sleep.

"That's three times now. What are you doing to him in there?" Emily asked grinning at JJ.

"Are you sure that baby bump is because of Will?" Morgan said slyly. JJ threw a folder at him.

"But they have a point. Dreams are the best way to see what is happening in our sub conscious." Rossi said. Reid said 'JJ' again.

"And obviously you are in Reid's right now." Hotch said joining in. JJ was trying to look appalled, but her slowly reddening cheeks were giving her away.

"This is Reid we're talking about, I highly doubt…."

"JJ" Reid interrupted JJ with his sleeping mumbles.

"Dam, JJ….I wish I could find girl that would make me dream of her like that." Morgan said, receiving another folder.

"Hey, guys. What's going on?" Penelope's face appeared on the screens installed on the plane.

"Reid is having a wet dream about JJ." Morgan called out.

"Oh, I was referring to the…wait, what?" Gracia did a double take, Morgan's words only now hitting her. "No, way. What's he saying?" She leaned towards the sreen.

"Gracia, Reid is not having a dream about me." JJ said at the screen. Just then Reid called out her name again.

"I think he begs to differ." Rossi said. The others on the plane laughed.

"What?" Garcia was begging for information.

"He keeps calling her name." Prentiss said.

"Oh, why does all the juicy stuff happen when you all are away?"

"He can't be dreaming about me." JJ said loudly. Reid jumped up with a start.

"Wha…" he looked around at everyone. "Amm, sorry. I was having a dream." He said.

"Yeah, no kidding." Morgan grinned at him then winked at JJ.

Just a plot I came up with...hope you liked it.
