Drabble 3:
Restless
Arthur couldn't sleep on Samhain. He knew why, but didn't want to admit it. He tossed and turned until the last candle flickered out, then forced himself to go to Gaius' chambers. The prince peeked in and sighed with relief when he saw Merlin sitting at the table with Gaius. He was pale and held a blanket around his shoulders, but he was awake.
"Saw a scary spider and fainted, eh?"
Merlin tried and failed to smile. "Something like that."
"All right for morning chores?"
Merlin nodded. Arthur repaid the nod and slept soundly the moment he returned to bed.
The End
Coming soon: "The Secret Round Table," a sequel to "Undercover."
