Author's Note: IT'S BAAAAAAAAACK! By popular demand, the following is the continuation of this fanfic. Enjoy =)

"You have a sister?" exclaimed Sookie, pulling against her captors. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

"Eric?" the woman asked incredulously, ignoring Sookie. "Is it truly you?" The woman called Nora had a British accent. She walked across the room to Eric and circled him thoughtfully.

"Yes, Nora. What's going on?" Eric didn't have his fangs out, but he stood at the ready.

Nora ignored this, too. "Well, it certainly appears to be you. But it doesn't sound like it. I couldn't believe my own ears when I read the report. Eric? Murdering the chairwoman of the American Vampire League? Impossible! The Eric Northman I know would never do such a thing, and certainly not over some trifle like a human pet."

"Hey!" Sookie huffed. Eric's eyes flashed a warning to her, then flicked calmly back to Nora.

"Release her," Eric commanded. "And I will explain."

Nora thought for a moment, then smiled. "Very well. I could use a good story." She nodded to the guards. "Target is not belligerent. I can handle this."

"Yes, Chancellor," the guards murmured as they let go of Sookie and left the house. They were followed by the sound of a car starting and lumbering down the gravel driveway.

"Now then, shall we?" said Nora sweetly. Eric looked between Sookie and Nora; Sookie looked terrified. Nora looked amused.

"Sookie?" Eric asked.

"Uh, yeah…" Sookie tried her best to compose herself. "Could we put some clothes on first?"

"Oh, no need to change on my account," Nora cut in. "I think you both look absolutely delicious." Her eyes crawled over the two of them, coming to rest on Eric in a way that made Sookie suspect that Nora was most definitely not his sister. Eric appeared not to notice. "Don't move," he told Sookie. In a quick gust of air, Eric disappeared and reemerged instantly, now in a pair of jeans and a tank top, along with a fluffy robe that he put on Sookie.

Nora made a big show of frowning but Eric paid no attention. He gently pushed his lover in Nora's direction, keeping an arm slung across her waist. "Sookie, this is Nora Gainesborough. Nora, this is Sookie Stackhouse."

Nora raised an eyebrow.

"Pleased to meet you, too," Sookie mumbled to no one in particular.

"Well, you must be special," Nora said finally. "Eric hasn't introduced a human to me since...never, actually. And this is the first time we've spoken in about two hundred years without fucking upon sight."

Sookie gave Eric a deliberate stare. "And this is your...sister?"

The ghost of a smile skipped across Eric's lips. "We have the same Maker."

...

Bill watched as a lone vehicle sped down the road coming from the direction of Sookie's house. He smiled and stepped away from the window.

"Bill? Whatcha doin'?" Jessica asked, walking into the office.

"Oh, nothing. Nothing. Just enjoying the moonlight," Bill replied easily.

"Wish I felt like enjoying the moonlight. Or anything." said Jessica, her normally bright blue eyes looking flat.

"What's wrong?" Bill sat Jessica down on his leather chaise and playfully tugged at the braid over her shoulder.

"Nothing. Well...I...I don't know. When you were with Sookie were there ever times when you just felt like there should be, like, I don't know...more?"

"More?" Bill repeated slowly.

His child shook her head and laughed nervously. "Never mind. Just- just forget it. I don't know what I'm saying."

"Does this have anything to do with why I've been graced with your presence so much of late?" Bill smiled. "Is everything all right between you and Hoyt?"

"Sure, Bill." Jessica slumped her shoulders, a habit from her human days. "Things with me and Hoyt are just perfect."

"Doesn't sound like it. Perhaps you should go to him and discuss matters between you two."

"Yeah...maybe," Jessica muttered listlessly. For a moment there was silence, then the low ring of the telephone in Bill's office.

"I insist." Bill stood then, pulling up his progeny with him. "How will things improve if you spend all your time hiding here?" He steered her to the door.

"I'm not hiding, exactly, just…I don't know...well, maybe you're right."

"Tell me about it later. You run along now, Jess. I'd like you indoors by 4am."

"Bill…" Jessica rolled her eyes. "See ya, then. Enjoy the moonlight." She waved halfheartedly and shut the door behind her. Bill waited until he could no longer hear her footsteps, then sped into his office.

...

An odd trio of Sookie, Eric, and Nora were now sitting in the living room, as Eric explained everything. About Nan, about Bill, about Sookie...Nora listened with care, but like most vampires, had a hard time refraining from talking about Sookie as if she were an object in the room.

"So…" Nora considered. "You're saying the king is actually responsible for Miss Flannigan's murder, but it's likely he's framing you out of spite for this one?"

"Excuse you!" Sookie bristled.

"This one has a name," Eric corrected smoothly. "And it is Sookie."

"Yes. Sookie," Nora waved a hand carelessly. "Eric, that sounds positively ridiculous. Although she does smell like...oh, what's that song? Like sex and candy." She grinned at Sookie, who set her jaw sternly.

"Look, instead of talking dirty to me (which I'll thank you to stop, please) can you tell me what you're going to do?"

Nora grew sober. "Well, I'm afraid it's King Bill's word against yours, Eric. And as we have no witnesses to contest- "

"But I'm a witness!" Sookie almost shouted. "What about me?"

"Witnesses who matter, love," Nora replied deliberately, as if talking to a child. Sookie sputtered but Eric slipped a hand over hers.

"Nora is right, Sookie. The testimony of a human would not be welcome or credible at a vampire hearing. Do you remember when Bill staked my former employee, Long Shadow? How serious that was?" Sookie nodded.

"Vampire tribunals are a very old convention," Eric continued. "To have a human present at all would be unthinkable."

"Laughable, really," interjected Nora. Eric shot her a look and kept talking.

"I would have to go and present my case to the magister, with Bill along as my superior to speak on my behalf. But since Bill is also my accuser in this case…" he trailed off and for the first time, looked worried. Then Nora piped up.

"Oh, but brother...this is much bigger than that. I believe your story; I don't think you would lie about something like this." She glanced at Sookie and for the first time, looked impressed. "But according to the record, you killed a chief AVL official, the only bridge between us and humans setting fire to our coffins during the day. This is so much bigger than a country tribunal. Why, that's why I'm here…"

Eric brushed his thumb over the back of Sookie's hand but otherwise did not move. "What, then?"

"Eric," Nora said carefully. "I'm here to deliver you to the Authority."

Hopefully, you will all forgive me for taking so long, but even late I think this'll make up for True Blood's pitiful excuse of a final season. I plan on updating this fic no less than every other week (if I take too long feel free to send me a message). So how did you like this chapter? I love reading your reviews!
