The very first paragraph on here, really moved me. A bunch of the stuff in here is from the anime. The speech given by Gohan at the end is a mix from the song Unmei no Hi ~Tamashii vs Tamashii~ (Day of Fate ~Spirit vs Spirit~). Its a short story. But I love it.

"Gohan, let it go. It is not a sin to fight for the right cause. There are those who words will not reach. Cell is such a being. I know how you feel, Gohan. You are gentle; you do not like to hurt. I know because I too have learned these feelings. But it is because you cherish life that you must protect it. Please, drop your restraints. Protect the life I love. You have the strength. My scanners sensed it. Just… let it go." Android 16 with a small smile on his face. His face was filled with sorrow. Gohan listened and let that speech fill his heart. Cell walked up chuckling and smashed Android 16's head with his foot.

"Yet another fighter, you could've saved." Cell said tauntingly. Gohan's tears started to cascade. He thought of the things that Android 16 loved. The birds. The flowers. Life itself. He started to feel something slip. Rage was pouring over him as he thought of Android 16 and what he loved.

"16, you loved life. You gave up everything to save it. And you were just an android. I let you die. I can't do that. I won't watch anymore! I-I feel it slipping." Gohan thought. What he felt slipping, was his hidden potential.

Gohan was in a rage. He would settle this. Cell will be defeated. No matter what. Gohan was through with all the needless torture. He fixed his eyes on Cell. Cell was trying to mask his fear with cockiness. But Gohan saw right through it.

All the other fighters stared in amazement at Gohan. They realized that Son Gohan was no longer the shy scared little boy. Gohan grew up. He was ready to save the world.

Little Son Gohan was finally a man.

Hate swarmed around Gohan. He glanced to the side and saw the Cell Jr.'s beating up his friends. One quick swipe to them and they were dead. Vegeta was amazed! It took a lot out of both him and Trunks to fend them off. It nearly killed the others, but this brat of Kakarotto's destroyed them with one swipe! An outrage!

Gohan turned towards Cell, "Cell. I am going to defeat you. I will put my life on the end of the line. I couldn't bear the thought of an earth with no love on it. I couldn't bear having pain and suffering on this earth. I cannot lose and I will not lose. You caused too much suffering for me to allow. Even if you come close to beating me, I will get back on top. Prepare yourself Cell. This is the end of your reign." Gohan charged towards Cell.

This is a world where tomorrow brings tomorrow's wind. Gohan was on the prowl. A jungle cat hunting his prey. Much like how Cell hunted the innocent people of Earth. Fight Gohan! The people of earth are on your side.

Yeah I know, the people of earth are on Mr. Satan's side. But we aren't :)
