Hello everyone I am back sorry it took so long but I was getting through an awful case of writers block and I couldn't think of a good idea but today inspiration got to me and now I'm back. I want to let everyone know that I going to finish what I started. I will still write for CSI:MIAMI but I will explore other characters. Starting with this one I will be exploring Eric's character. Enjoy and Review.

(Eric's POV)

I stared at her through the clear glass pane. Her golden blond hair rolling down her back like a golden waterfall. What I wouldn't give to run my fingers through its softness. Her beautiful bright vibrant eyes full of different shades of green swirling together. Oh how lost I could get them just floating in them for hours without a care in the world. When she smiled fireworks lit up in her eyes. Her perfect smile. When she smiled her teeth perfectly in line would glisten. Her lips that pulled into her smile could make me melt. When she spoke her words rolled off her tongue to form a song. When she laughed the heavens opened up and angels start to sing. Oh how perfect she is. Way to perfect for someone like me.

She stood up from her chair where she was sitting talking to Natalia. She passed me in the doorway. She smiled at me. I almost fainted right then and there.

"Hey there handsome." she said walking past. I was at loss for words. Since when was it so hard to talk to her. I opened my mouth but no words came.

"Well I can see your tongue tied. So see you later." she smiled as she walked past me. I watched her walking away. My eyes wandered down her back and Whap! Someone slapped me on the back of the head. Natalia came into view.

" Don't stare at her butt." Natalia said laughing. "Since when are you interested in her?"

"I am not interested in her. I mean I um.." I said stumbling over words.

" Your in love with her aren't you?" Natalia asked. " No. I mean yes. I mean." I said stumbling for words.

" Eric don't play dumb. Your head over heals for her." Natalia said. "I can see it in your eyes."

"Okay fine you got me what do I do?" I whispered. Natalia laughed. " It's simple ask her out." Natalia whispered.

"Well see you later." I said walking away. Ask her out, ASK her out. How was I going to ask her out? Where would I take her? Would she say yes?I asked myself these questions. I decided to try the worse that could happen is she could say No.

Later that evening I stood outside the ballistics lab where she was working. Was this a good idea? I spent all afternoon convincing myself I could do this. Now I didn't even have the courage to go in there. Taking a deep breath I walked into her lab where she had etched her name into a piece of paper and closed the folder.

"Uh Calleigh." I said. She turned around and smiled that at me. "Yes?" she hummed out.

"I was wondering if um you wanted to um. I mean only if you want to." I stuttered out

"Eric spit it out" she said. " I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner tonight!" I blurted out.

A smile stretched across her face. "I'd love to. Say around sevenish." she said grinning.

"Well I will pick up you up. See you later." I said backing out of the lab. "See you then." came from inside the lab

I had a huge weight off my shoulders but then it occurred to me.

I had a date tonight!
