Hi guys. Sorry about the extremely late update. my laptop got stolen along with the flashdrive I kept my stories on. so yeah, new laptop, new flash drive, new chapter. Plus, this chapter took me a while to hammer out. Sorry again. I'll try to update my other stories asap.

Bumblebee heard Sam yelling and Kayri raced out of the house, grinning like a crazy woman. She ducked into the garage.

"Kay?"

"Shh! I pranked Sam and he wants to maim me right now!" Kayri giggled, hiding behind him. She scooted closer, practically going under him as Sam stormed into the garage, hair pink.

"Where is she?" he growled.

"Who, who?" Bee played.

"Kayri," Sam snapped. Kayri bit her hand to stop from laughing. Sam frowned, and then grinned evilly.

"I guess she's not here huh? Okay, bye Bee." The boy left. Kayri scooted out, like a crab and looked around. She had a streak of grease on her forehead and bright eyes. Patting Bee where she could reach, Kayri said,

"Thanks for not ratting me out buddy." Bee laughed, shooing her out.

Sam jumped on Kayri as she exited the garage. Kayri screamed.

"Dammit Sam!" I smacked Sam's chest. He jabbed my sides. I yelped, running away from him.

I rummaged through my closet. I pulled out a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, stuffing them in my duffel. Dad knocked.

"Hey kiddo. You taking Bee?"

"Yep."

"Good, your mom is at her wits end with him."

"I don't know why. Bee doesn't do anything to her. He's here to protect us incase 'Cons come back."

"I know. But you mom just wants normal."

"Mom? Normal?" I giggled. Ron laughed and left.

As I pulled my slightly scorched hoodie from Mission city out of its drawer, something clattered to the ground. Frowning, I picked the object up. It was slightly scorched, gold-bronze, and covered in tiny symbols.

"Shit!" I dropped the shard of the Allspark as it zapped me. Pain, ice and fire, just like when I shoved the Cube into Megatron's spark, raced up my arms. I dropped to my knees, curling my arms inward as the pain shot up and down my body. As quick as it came, the pain was gone. I looked at my hands, and nearly screamed. Symbols covered my skin, some big, some small. They were all Cybertronian, like the Cube. The same symbols swam in my mind. I gulped, standing. In my full body mirror, I saw the symbols tracing up my neck, and across my face. I lifted my shirt and saw them on my chest and belly, going down my legs. I cursed, the marks were raised, so they'd be hard to hide. I changed into a pair of loose jeans, and tossed on a hoodie. Thankfully, Mom, Dad and Sam just left, so it was me and Bee. I lifted my duffel and grabbed my laptop bag.

"Bee?" I poked the sulking bot. he turned and promptly glitched out. I ducked a flailing servo and snapped. "OI! SQUISHY HERE!"

"Kay…your face! Oh god your face!" Bee played. I rolled my eyes.

"I know. Bee a splinter of the Cube was on my hoodie from that day. I just found it and it zapped me. I have symbols on me and in my head. Please tell me you can contact Optimus." I held up the shard. Bee squealed, transforming.

"Get. In." I climbed in, shoving my bags into the backseat. Bee onlined his holo and sped out of the garage. I barely buckled my seat belt in time. A thought occurred to me.

"I can't go to the House. If the Decepticons find out me absorbed something from the cube, they'll destroy it."

"Contacting…Prime!" Bee assured.

Optimus rolled off the plane with a heavy spark. Good men had been lost in Shang-Hi. Lennox glanced at him as the Autobot went past him. The twins reported to the hanger to get their new forms. Hopefully not being crammed into one form will lessen their fighting. Not likely. As the new Liaison stomped up, Optimus got a call from Bumblebee. Transforming, Optimus responded.

Sir! It's Kayri! The scout commed.

What's wrong with her?Optimus demanded. The brave young femme had always had Bumblebee send Optimus her regards when the scout checked in.

A shard of the Allspark was on her hoodie! She just found it today and said it zapped her. Now she has our symbols all over her body and she said that she's seeing things from Cybertron!

What! Let me speak with her! Bumblebee was quiet for a moment then,

"Optimus?" Kayri's voice was shaky. "Optimus what's going on? Why am I seeing symbols like Sam's grandfather? And why are they on my skin?"

"I do not know Kayri. Where are you?" Bumblebee relayed their coordinates. "I will be there soon with Ratchet and Ironhide. We have to debrief from a mission and we'll be on our way."

"Will you bring Captain Lennox or Epps too?"

"I'll ask them. I'm sure one or both will come. And the Captain is now a major."

"Tell him congrats for me. See you soon Optimus."

"What's going on Prime?" Lennox asked as Optimus came back to the present.

"Kayri is in trouble."

"The little spitfire?" Epps narrowed his eyes. Kayri had earned that nickname around the base in Mission City.

"Yes. She has come into contact with-"

"I don't know who you are talking about, but can we get to the debriefing? You guys made a mess in Shanghai," the new liaison butted in. Lennox and Epps glared at him. Optimus vented a sigh and nodded.

General Morshower sighed as Galloway, the new Liaison talked. Good god this man was an idiot, talking about classified information on satellites that couldn't be trusted to be secure. Morshower wished he could reach through the screen and deck the man.

As soon as Galloway left, Optimus turned to Lennox and Epps.

"Kayri found another shard of the Allspark. It in her words 'zapped her' and now she is seeing things from Cybertron. Bumblebee also reported that she has our language etched into her skin, all over her body," he began.

"What? How did she get a Cube shard?"

"It was on the jacket she wore that day and it fell off when she was packing for a trip. That's what she told Bumblebee. I am inclined to believe her." Epps nodded.

"You're right. She didn't strike me as someone untrustworthy in Hoover dam. And anyone who can take on a suit and not shoot them out right or roll over is good in my book."

"I am taking Ironhide and Ratchet with me to collect her. Kayri asked that one of you or both come with me."

"That's a good idea," Lennox mused. "Having a human there might help make her feel a little more normal. And we can focus on her while you guys make sure we don't get surprised by Cons. We'll both go right Epps?"

"Hell yeah."

Kayri:

Bee and I were at a gas station. He was filling up and I went inside to grab some snacks. I got some ranch Doritos, a Pay Day and a coke. After paying, I walked out and plopped back into my seat. Bee shut the door and peeled out.

"Kay?" he inquired.

"I'm okay Bee. My head just hurt a little," I replied, fishing a bottle of Tylenol out of my backpack. I shook one out and swallowed it with a drink of soda. Leaning back I closed my eyes. I didn't get much sleep last night.

"Message from Starfleet Captain! Meet…at…cemetery." I blinked at Bee.

"What cemetery?"

"In next town girl!" he played. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay. How long till we reach it?"

"Three hours later." I laughed as he played a SpongeBob sound byte.

"Never do that again!" He laughed with me. I leaned back and slipped into sleep.

Bumblebee was glad that Kayri had finally fallen asleep. Last night had been tough. They had driven through the night, and Kayri kept waking up and it scared him because she wasn't really there. It was like she was millions of miles away. She'd snap out of it pretty quick but it still made him nervous. He scanned the area, finding no Cons. Kayri shifted in her sleep, mumbling. Bee smiled internally and sped up. He wanted to get her to Optimus as fast as possible.

Optimus drove as fast as he legally could. After touching down, he, Epps, Lennox, Ironhide and Ratchet took off, towards the rendezvous point. Bee sent in hourly reports. His last report came in twenty minutes ago, Kayri was asleep, and they were almost to the cemetery.

"How's she doing?" Epps asked.

"Bumblebee reported her to be sleeping." Lennox nodded.

"Good. From what he said earlier, she needs it. Optimus, what can we expect from Kayri if you're right about her and the Allspark?"

"Bumblebee told me she's very much the same as before, with the exception that when she wakes, she isn't herself. He put it as she's not there." Epps frowned, looking at Lennox.

"Anything else?"

"During these episodes, she traces Cybertronian symbols and the ones on her skin glow." Optimus went quiet as the cemetery came into view. Bumblebee was already there. Lennox's phone rang. Epps hopped out as Optimus stopped. Ironhide and Ratchet guarded the entrance.

"Be quiet!" Bumblebee, using his holoform, urged as Epps jogged up. "She's still asleep." Epps nodded, peering inside the car to see Kayri snuggled up to the seat.

"Okay that's adorable," he whispered, grinning as he snapped a picture with his phone. "And great blackmail material!" Bee chuckled quietly, unbuckling Kayri. She mumbled and shifted.

"She should ride with Prime," Bee said. "At least he has a sleeper so she can lay down." Epps nodded. He leaned inside the cab and scooped Kayri up.

"She's heavier than she looks!" he grunted. He carried the girl back to Optimus. Lennox hopped out, a dark look on his face.

"What's wrong?" Epps asked as he deposited Kayri onto Prime's sleeper.

"Last night, the shard of the Cube we had is gone. It was stolen. And, the guard fleet at the Laurenchian Abyss was attacked, by Decepticons. They revived Megatron," Lennox answered. Kayri's eyes snapped open and she screamed. Both men jumped. Optimus onlined his holoform.

"Kayri!" he barked, trying to hold the struggling girl. Kayri froze, the symbols on her skin blazing.

My mind came back at the familiar voice barking out my name. The man in front of me had black hair and bright familiar blue eyes. The voice was familiar too.

"O-Optimus?" I croaked, staring at him.

"Damn, that was scary!" I turned my head to see Epps and Lennox. Optimus's holoform rubbed my arms.

"Are you alright now?" he asked. I nodded.

"Megatron's back," I whispered, trembling.

"We know. Did you hear me?"

"No, I…I saw it. In my dream." I shook my head, trying to clear it of the nightmare vision thing. I stared at Optimus. "He's coming."

"Okay. Let's get going then." It was Lennox who spoke up. Epps grabbed a blanket from the cot I was on and tossed it around my shoulders. I smiled at him.

Optimus peeled out of the cemetery, Bee following.

"How've you been Spitfire?" Epps asked.

"Okay. How've you guys been?"

"Busy. Decepticons keep popping up. Our last mission in Shanghai revealed some things, but even more questions. They're looking for something."

"Did they say anything in Shanghai?"

"The fallen shall rise again." Optimus played the byte. I stiffened as visions and information surged in my mind. I clapped my hands over my temples.

"Shut up!" I hissed. The information slowed and quieted, leaving me with a head ache. Hands touched the backs of mine as I clutched at my hair.

"Kayri?" it was Optimus. His holoform was in front of me again.

"Info burst. I think what you just played triggered it. The fallen…" I frowned as I processed the information. "He was one of the original thirteen Primes. He betrayed his brothers… tried to blow up our sun against the rule of not doing so to planets with life. The other twelve Primes hid the key to the machine. Dagger's tip…" I shook my head as the symbols faded. "Damn, lost it."

"So they're looking for a machine?" I nodded.

"And the key. They can't turn it on without it."

A grappling hook pierced the roof of Optimus's cab. I screamed as we were jerked into the air. Optimus groaned. I took out my lighter.

"Shit! It's Decepticons!" Lennox cursed, grabbing his gun.

"Wait until we get over water!" Optimus ordered. I moved to the front and peered out.

"Optimus roll your window down please!" I tapped it, flicking my lighter on. We were over a large lake. Optimus did.

"Kayri!?" Epps yelped as I leaned out the window, as far as I dared. The helicopter was white, and smaller than blackout. New con! I coaxed the flame from my lighter to get bigger, turning into a baseball sized fireball. I heated it more, the flame turning dark blue.

"Hang onto something!" I barked out, throwing the ball. Directed hit onto the chain the connected to the copter. We fell. I was thrown out along with Lennox and Epps as Optimus transformed. I cursed, I was just out of his reach. I hit the water, hard enough to sting. Surfacing, I was scooped up by Optimus. Lennox and Epps hauled me up further into his hand.

"Are you alright!?" Lennox demanded as I coughed and sputtered.

"I'm fine!" I spat out water. There were several heat signatures coming. "Optimus go! They're coming!" he took off in a run. I caught another flame, ready. A con slammed into Optimus. We fell. I scrambled to my feet, launching the fireball at Starscream.

"Run!" Optimus barked out the order. I ducked as another con reached for me. It was Megatron. I glared at him, flipping him the bird before taking off. Please, please follow me! I thought. He did, with a roar. Epps and Lennox were firing at Megatron, but he ignored it. I swung around a large tree and threw another fire ball at his face. While he stumbled back, I ran back towards Optimus. He was fighting several cons at once. I ran into Epps.

"I thought you were told to run!" he snapped, firing at a con. I got another flame from a burning tree.

"Not really an option!" I sent the flame spear at the helicopter. Bullseye! The thing went down, it's chest smoldering. Epps gaped at me.

"What the hell?"

"Not now!" I threw another fireball at Starscream. He screeched and fell back as Optimus tore his arm off. I paused to watch him effectively kick Decepticon ass.

"Damn," I whispered. Epps laughed.

"DECEPTICON'S ATTACK!" Megatron roared. I spun around to see more cons rush out of the trees. Oh for the love of god! I ran towards Optimus.

"BEHIND YOU!" I screamed at him, creating a fire tornado around him and I. my back burned and I felt wetness there. My hoodie was gone, leaving me in my halter-top. Optimus stared at me.

"Kayri?"

"Explanations later!" I touched his leg. "Get ready. I can't keep this column up long." I wiped the blood off my lips from my nose.

Lennox stared in awe at the fire twister that enveloped and protected Kayri and Optimus.

"Holy shit," Epps gasped. Even the Decepticons were stunned. There was a roar of engines. The humans turned to see Autobots speeding up. The fight broke out again.

I dropped the fire tornado and sent a soccer ball of fire at Megatron as he attacked Optimus. He jerked back as it hit his shoulder. Murderous red eyes glared at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and hurled another fireball. Megatron moved towards me only to be blocked by Optimus. Megatron fired his cannon. The blast sent Optimus flying. I ran to him.

"Get up!" I cried. He struggled to his feet as Megatron loomed over us. His cannon went off again. I sent fire to block the blast. The shockwave knocked me on my ass. Hissing I scrambled up. Optimus was tearing Megatron a new one with his blades. Megatron pulled back.

"RETREAT!" he bellowed.

I ran to Optimus as he hit his knees.

"Optimus!" I yelled, skidding to a stop. I could see energon dripping from his frame. Ratchet was there in another second, with Lennox and Epps.

"Kayri calm down!" Epps grabbed my arm. He hissed, jerking away. Oops.

"Sorry!" I gasped out, hopping from one foot to the other as Ratchet examined Optimus. "After using my powers, my skin gets pretty hot." Two shadows loomed over us. It was Optimus and Ratchet. Ratchet looked like he was about to throttle me. I winced, scooting back. He scooped me up.

"Oh no you don't youngling. Let me look at the damage you caused yourself!" he barked. I whimpered as he scanned me and his glare got blacker. I gulped.

"Uh Ratchet? We need to get going," Lennox piped up. Ratchet set me down.

"Very well. You are riding with me." Ratchet pointed at me. I whined.

"I'm fine Ratchet! Seriously!" it was no use, Ratchet transformed and Epps and Lennox loaded me up. Ratchet's holoform started treating my injuries.

"Hmph. How did you do so much damage?" he growled.

"It was when I created the fire for that fire twister. When I create fire, I have to sacrifice my immunity to it. Usually the burns are on my hands, but I guess with the wind that was generated, it hit my back instead."

"You can create fire?"

"And control it. I generally use my lighter to get flames. Like I said, creating it means that I can get burned." Ratchet was quiet as he finished wrapping my back.

"Hands." I sighed holding them up. The palms were a little red, but that was probably from falling. Ratchet sighed.

"When we get to the base, I'll run more scans. It looks like you've bonded with the Allspark."

"I found a splinter of it on my hoodie. When I touched it, I got zapped and the symbols appeared on my skin." I ran my hand over the ones on my arm. "Ratch I'm scared." Ratchet ruffled my hair.

"We'll protect you Kayri. And not just because you're the Allspark now. You saved Prime's life at least twice now. Once in Mission city, and today." I blushed. I laid down on the gunnery and closed my eyes. I was exhausted... dammit! Ratchet must have slipped me knock out drugs.

"Jerk…" I mumbled.

Ratchet fought down a smile as Kayri drifted into recharge. He scanned her again. He sighed again, radioing Prime.

How is she? Optimus asked.

Recharging. My scans show that she has completely bonded with the Allspark. She has essentially become the Allspark. Ratchet sent him the scan results. Optimus read them and mulled over the information. It worried him.

"How's she doing?" Lennox asked.

"She is sleeping. Ratchet said she'll be fine."

"What's with those symbols? And since when did she become an X-man?"

"Kayri has somehow merged with the Allspark. Its knowledge is contained within her mind. The symbols are a byproduct of the merging. As for the pyrokiniesis, I do not know."

I woke up when we got on the plane.

"You shouldn't be awake right now." Ratchet sounded grumpy.

"Slipping me knock out drugs is a low blow Ratchet. Plus, they don't work on me for long. I burn them up too fast." I glared at him.

"Humph. Stay still for a moment." He scanned me. "You can go out, just take it easy."

"Okay, thanks Ratch!" I scurried out.

"Hey you shouldn't be awake!" Lennox gaped at me.

"Joys of being a pyrokenetic!" I laughed. Realizing what I had said, I clapped a hand over my mouth. Shit. The soldiers were staring at me. Dammit. I moved back, only to collide with Ironhide's front. I froze.

"Kayri calm down. We're not going to hurt you." Lennox was walking slowly towards me, unarmed. He reached out.

"Don't touch me!" I yelped. My skin was heating up. "If you touch me now I'll burn you!"

"Kayri!" it was Bee. His holoform scooped me up. "Kay calm down sis!"

"Bumblebee what's going on?" I heard Optimus ask.

"Kayri's skin heats up when she gets scared. If the human's touch her right now, they'll get burned." I hid my face in Bee's neck.

"Damn."

"Kay, we won't hurt you." Lennox was standing about five feet away from me. How did he know my safe zone? "C'mon kiddo, don't be scared." I finally looked at him. He was smiling gently at me, holding a hand out. Gulping I squeezed Bee tighter.

"Promise?"

"I promise." Bee put me down. I closed my eyes, focusing on cooling my skin down.

"Sorry," I looked up at Lennox. Damn, was everyone taller than me?

"It's okay. How long have you had your powers?"

"Since I was little. The reason I freaked out a second ago is I've been taught to hide my powers."

"By who?"

"My mentor. Can we stop talking about it? Please?"

"Okay, we'll stop, for now."

"Thanks." I smiled. Ratchet's holoform grabbed my elbow.

"Let me make sure you didn't damage yourself further," he grumbled.

"Ratchet I'm fine!" I protested. He glared at me. For a holoform, it was scary as hell. I whimpered, but surrendered to my fate.
