Prologue

Rogue P.o.V

I stood there as Minerva continued to launch attack, after attack. Lucy was defenceless without her spirit keys – anyone who knew about celestial spirit magic would know this. The way his fellow Sabertooth member was fighting was just plain brutal. I watched as Lucy's face twisted in agony, it was hard to watch – I just couldn't watch this any longer.

"Is Lucy okay – She hasn't been moving for a while now." Hearing those words, I tensed. No longer hearing the cheers of the crowd I watched as Minerva dropped Lucy, I felt the urge to jump down there a catch her before I stood my ground and watched as Natsu and Gray caught her just before she crashed into the ground.

"Rogue, are you okay?" I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, looking at Sting who looked at me with a worried expression.

"Yeah, I am fine." I answered quietly, not trusting my voice at this very moment.

"You bitch – What have you done?!" Natsu voice roared through the stadium. Just from these few days of the Grand Magic Games I could tell Fairy Tail was the kind of guild that looked out for one another, like they were family. That was something that Sabertooth didn't have – why I was in such a guild was a mystery to me.

"If you're a guild, take care of your comrades - that's all I have to say."

Guild members should look after one another, a guild is a place where you should feel safe and make friends – create bonds that last a lifetime. Unlike my own, where you could lose your membership for one loss – you make one mistake; you are shunned and humiliated in front of all the other members of the guild.

Hear the cheers of the crowd again, I noticed that I was standing here alone – the others were standing down in front of Minerva, they were challenging one another – Ready to fight.

"I don't care if you're the strongest in all of Fiore - but I will tell you one thing. You have made enemies with the worst guild to anger!" Erza threatened. My eyes soften a bit; Fairy Tail really is a good guild. I couldn't see Sabertooth doing that at all, not while Jiemma was the master at least. After all of the commotion the crowd calmed down, getting ready for the tag team battles that were going to begin soon.

Lucy P.o.V

Watching the battles in the infirmary I prayed for Natsu and Gajeel's safety as they fought again the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth. Though, I couldn't help but worry about Rogue – I don't understand what is was, but I couldn't help it. I knew it wasn't because he was attractive – don't get me wrong, Rogue is handsome; unbelievably so. But that wasn't it, I have met many attractive men. It was something different, but I guess I may never understand what this feeling was.

So, here it is... I hope you enjoyed it, I would like to know what you people think so please review or PM me. To be honest I was nervous with putting it up so like some people say; got nothing nice to say then don't say it at all... Hahaa.

Edit: 3-12-15; I really needed to fix this, wow almost 3 years since I posted this – I was re-reading this fic and I found it so hard to read, it really is horribly written – me and my poor grammar and spelling, I apologize. I literally read the first paragraph of this on my phone and immediately stopped; as soon as I could, I got my laptop and started fixing it. Anyway, I hope this is better to read than it previously was and I am sorry for taking a year to update again.

Somehow I also managed to turn this 850 word chapter into a measly 600 word one. Oh well, I hope it's better.
