Well this is the last chapter of "Right Now." I have always loved this story since it was my first fanfic and I am so happy that I went back and revised the story so you all can enjoy it without my many mistakes. Let me know how you all like it, either on my tumblr or PM and review. I am always open for suggestions and questions!

For those of you just reading the story, I have two other Percy Jackson stories here that I hope you check out. Thank you!

Chapter 10

Percy

Two years later.

"Annabeth, how many things do you have in this box!" I yell as I carry one of my girlfriend's boxes to my car.

Two years have flown by and now we have graduated college and starting our careers and our lives together. I still can't believe we both made it alive to see graduation and it's still a mystery to me how I got a college degree.

We are packing up our things from our dorms for the last time. After graduation, Annabeth and I went out to dinner with both of our parents. Well, mortal parents. And it was interesting to say the least. Annabeth's dad asked me what I was going to do with my teaching job and why was I waiting to marry Annabeth. Annabeth got really mad and they argued while my mom, Paul and I all sat silently and ate our food awkwardly. Eventually, my mom told Annabeth about how exciting her new job would be in New York City. After dinner Annabeth asked me if staying in New York was really what I wanted, citing that moving to New Rome was my dream and it might be a better option for my teaching degree but I assured her that staying in my city was just as good as moving there. Besides, there is plenty of time to move out there.

"Percy, I swear to gods if you drop anything in there you are dead." Annabeth says as she comes up behind me carrying her last box. All of my boxes were packed up seeing as I didn't really have a lot to pack. But I am being a good boyfriend and helping her pack up the rest of her boxes. I just didn't know what I was getting myself into when I agreed to do it.

" Alright Wise Girl." I agree and pop the box into my trunk. She places her books in the trunk.

Curiousity hits me as I see the box labeled "Percy" and when she is distracted and returning her dorm key, I start to open it but a hand whacks mine away from the top of the box.

"Don't touch that! It's a surprise." Annabeth says and my focus it definitely on opening up the box. I push her away with my arm and blocked her out which is a struggle as I open the box, " Well, well what do we got here Wise Girl?"

She is struggling against my arm and punching it as she curses, " Damn it Percy! I told you it was a surprise!"

I open the box and there are a bunch of photo albums. I take one out and look through them. They are photos of Annabeth and I throughout college.

" Percy, give it back!" She huffs and escapes my hold by twisting my arm and then grabbing the book.

"Hold on! Why don't you want me to see this?" I ask confused.

."It was for a surprise. But knowing you, you're going to keep asking about it and you will annoy me until I tell you. Look at the back cover Seaweed Brain." She flips the book back to my chest and I catch it. I open to the back and there is a piece of paper that has her signature on it.

" What's this?" I ask as I hold it up to her.

" I had a little money left over in my savings account, so I bought us a little something. It's a deed Percy."

" To what?"

She roll her eyes and said, " To an apartment. I bought us an apartment."

Our original plan was to have separate places until we got enough money and by now I assumed Annabeth found a place and I was planning on crashing at my mom's apartment but this is much better. I look at her, a little shocked at first and then I go over to her and kiss her sweetly. She kisses me back and says as she pulls back after a couple of seconds, " It was supposed to be a surprise for tonight's dinner but-."

"I don't care. I love it. So when do we move in?" I ask excitedly and Annabeth smirks.

"Today. Why did you think I asked you to pack up all of my stuff? My plan was that after dinner we would drive to our new apartment and it would be romantic but I guess we can do it this way. It's probably better anyway."

" Gods you're amazing. I love it. I love you."

She says, " I love you too. Now let's get going, we got to unpack all of this in our new apartment."

I smirk as I close the trunk and we got into the car. I get into the driver's seat and start up the car. I look at her," Well this is it? Goodbye NYU."

She looks out the window sadly," It was a great four years."

" Yah it was. Well besides almost getting killed multiple times sophomore year."

She gives me a look," When have you not been almost killed Percy?"

"Ok. You got me."

She looks back out the passenger window as I put the car in drive and head down the campus drive. I smile to myself as I think of the great times we had at NYU. And I also think about the not so great times, especially when I broke up with Annabeth. I still can't believe I thought that was a good way to keep her safe and I could have lost her forever. Now, we are starting and sharing a new life together, trying to be as normal as a demigod can be. As we drive to a new place and start a new life, the little black box in my pocket seems heavier and I couldn't think of a better way to ask the girl of my dreams to spend the rest of her life with me.
