A/N: Sorry, this chapter's pretty short, but yeah Mocks are in two months, I really should be studying but honestly I felt really bad not updating.

Thanks again for all the reviews and I'm so excited because it's about to reach 50 reviews, and that was like a main goal :O

Alvin looked around to find himself sitting on a park bench. The blood on his shirt had dried up. He touched his lip cautiously and then sighed.

He trudged back to his hotel and applied ice onto his lip. He thought about Brittany and soon his thoughts trailed back to Alvie. How's that little champ holding up?

Might as well give Dave a call, Alvin thought as he picked up the hotel phone and dialed Dave's number. It would cost hell of money, but Alvin had nothing better to do and missed the sound of Dave's voice.

"Hello Alvin," Dave buzzed into the phone.

"How are things with choosing a house? Jeanette and Simon seem to be a very confusing pair, they seem to be bickering about the wedding at one moment, and then fondling one another on the couch the next,"

Alvin let out a small laugh to show Dave that he was listening, even though in reality, his mind was racing through all the events that happened that day.

"Alvin, what's wrong?" Dave inquired inquisitively.

"Nothing, I'm just a little blown away that Jen and Si are soon going to get married. It's just so surreal."

"I know exactly what you mean Alvin, I mean my little boys are growing up and soon I'll be a grandfather," Dave sighed deeply. Alvin heard Dave swallow slowly and began to clear his throat. Alvin knew this must mean Dave had something important to say.

"I'm very glad that you've moved on from… you know Brittany. I know how much you love her, but I'm guessing she doesn't want to be found, because we all know she wasn't kidnapped, and if she wanted to run away, we can't stop her now, can we Alvin?"

Alvin's breath grew rapid. He hated to think that Brittany didn't need him or her sisters anymore. He hated to think that Brittany ran away, because of him, even when he knew that was the only reason she ran away. It was all because of his stupid little thing with that bitch of a Clover.

At that time, Clover reminded Alvin so much of Brittany's silly ways, to the point where he felt as if Clover could replace the empty hole Brittany left in his heart when she left for England. It was a dumb idea, and Alvin knew it, but he craved it badly. He brought up Clover to Brittany in the beginning to annoy her and tease her, but then for some reason he ended up making the light conversation menacing and evil. He regretted saying the things he had said to Brittany, but regret couldn't fix any of the shit. Alvin brought all of it to himself.

Clover ended up being a bitch and a fucking whore. She slept with two boys in one month and ended up being pregnant and lied about which boy was the father. This was because the other boy she had fucked was fucking rich and she found it easier to put her burden on the rich guy, one of my buddies on the baseball team, Trey. Trey lost his girlfriend all because of the bitch Clover. And all this time, she was in my bedroom sobbing her heart out about the baby and lying to me as well. When I found out I had enough of her messed up life ruining my already fucked up life and refused to even talk to her. She left a month later without a word.

Enough of Clover, the point is Clover wasn't the person she turned out to be and my idiocy hid her flaws from me, and I wish to the heaven's I could see Brittany again, and just tell her I still love her and that I would swallow my ego and tell her she was right.

"Alvin?"

Dave's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Yeah, Dave I have to go now, I'm very tired and I've decided to head to bed early tonight,"

"Okay, Alvin I understand. And remember what I told you about coming over for Simon's and Jeanette's wedding,"

"Yeah, Yeah," Alvin muttered hastily as he slipped out of his jeans, and into his boxers.

"And keep in touch with me, okay Alvin," Dave rambled on. Alvin took off his shirt and walked towards the bathroom.

"Definitely, Dave," Alvin mumbled into the phone as he touched his swollen lip.

"And Alvin?"

"Yeah Dave?"

"I love you,"

Alvin's face broke into a smile before he replied, trying to sound cocky.

"Love you too big guy,"

They hung up and Alvin began to ice his swollen lip. He brushed his teeth before falling asleep in the bed.
