A/N: Here I am once more my fellow nerds! Now I know I must be very hated at this point, but what can I do. I would either need to abandon this story or occasionally update every year or so. And judging by my fanfics support I think it would be preferable to update instead of completely forgetting it. Now remember that I will not update this until a long time from now. Sorry for my incompetence and I hope y'all continue to follow and support me!

Ch. 6 Meeting or Interrogation? Conclusions proven right!

Team 7 could not believe what they had just witnessed. The boy in orange had defeated a jonin, a jonin who even their sensei had difficulties with. The jutsu the boy used was not one that they had seen or heard of before. It was powerful enough to be felt from their position on land. How was it possible to be that powerful at such a young age? What had they been doing all this time if this boy could easily defeat an opponent of the missin-nins caliber.

To add insult to injury the boy with lilac hair looked amused at their expressions. He made eye contact with both boys from team 7 and smirked arrogantly. "Like I said there was no need for you to try to interfere with chibis' fun. Honestly, as amusing as it was to see bandages' techniques it was all quite boring."

Sauske and Naruto had looks of complete rage when he said that. He was mocking them. He was mocking their lack of power and the fear that they had felt when they thought their lives had been forfeit.

"Thank you for your help. We may not have made it out alive without it," interrupted Sakura. She realized that the boys in her team were not in a state of mind to properly thank him. The last thing she needed was for Naruto to go off on one of their saviours. She could tell that this had been a blow to both of her teammates' pride as shinobi. The gathered children and bridge builder turned to look towards the spot of the fight as they saw the fighters make their way towards them. The white haired man approached the group along with the onyx eyed boy who was carrying Zabusas body. Goten placed the shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Mist by a tree near them. He was wearing a huge grin and looked as if he just had the grandest time.

The son of Goku bowed in front of the group and stated, "Hi my name's Goten Son and this is my partner Trunks Briefs." Team 7 was surprised at such a formal introduction coming from the boy. Nonetheless the team, save Sauske, bowed back.

"I am Kakashi, a jonin from the Hidden Village in the Leaves and these are my Genin students Naruto, Sakura, and Sauske. Thank you for helping us with our mission in protecting our charge, Tazuna," responded the jonin of the group while motioning to each person from his group. Even though he was thankful for the help he was still suspicious of them. The duo does not have headbands to signify the village they are affiliated with. Though being that skillful at such a young age is not unheard of, Kakashi himself had been a young genius, he was not willing to let his guard down just yet. There was something different about these boys and he did not live as long as he has as a top shinobi without trusting his gut. That last jutsu the boy had used had not been an ordinary one. As close as he was to it he could feel the power coming from it in waves. The blast had been made out of pure chakra and the ex-ANBU wanted to know more about it. He was sure that even though his sharingan saw the attack he would not be able to copy it. He suspected that the jutsu may have been a Kekkei Genkkai. He needed answers to his questions.

"That was a very impressive fight, Goten. Your village must be very proud to have you." flattered the white haired man. He needed to get information now and judging from the black-haired boys attitude he figured praise may be a good course of action. The blue eyed boy from the duo rolled his eyes at the adults blatant attempt and gave him a knowing look. Kakashi was once again impressed by one of the boys. Trunks is an intelligent one and he should not underestimate him.

Meanwhile Goten smiled bashfully and awkwardly responded, "Thank you sir! Wasn't that big of deal. The bad guy wasn't that strong anyway."

"Well nonetheless you helped us when you didn't need to. What village are you from so that I may send a proper thank you to you?"

"You don't have to do that Mr. Kakashi really," politely responded Goten. His mom would kill him if she ever found out that he was being rude to an adult.

"I insist that we thank you properly," pushed Kakashi. This was not going the way he hoped. Had he underestimated the black haired boy? Was the boy purposely hiding his origins?

"Well if you insist, I'm from the 439 East Mountain District on Mount Paozu."

The jonin was confused as he had never heard of such a place. That was not a village he had recognized and the name sounded completely foreign. Was the boy lying? Kakashi searched Gotens face and found complete sincerity. "What Elemental Nation is that village from? I've never heard of Mount Pauzo."

Trunks' eyes widened at that statement. Who didn't know of Mount Pauzo? Elemental Nation was not something that he heard before and he knew his planet's geography well. The young prince was suddenly struck with a cold chill. He knew what this meant and he knew that he had to tell his chibi of the devastating position they were in.

"Are you sure you have never heard of Mount Paozu? What do you mean by Elemental Nations?" interrupted Trunks with narrowed eyes. He needed to confirm it and he could only do that by questioning these strangers.

Kakashi's attentioned turned to the lilac haired boy. He bet his icha icha series that Goten had not been lying, judging by Trunks reaction. "The Elemental Nations are the countries that make up our continent. For example, we are from the Village Hidden in the Leaves in the Fire country. Your village must be isolated if you do not even know what the elemental nations are." responded Kakashi. He was fishing for information and Trunks knew it. The young saiyan was simply too preoccupied with the news to care.

The older boy ignored Kakashi and turned to his confused friend. As gently as he could he stated, "Chibi we need to talk. I know what happened, but I need you to trust me ok. I need you to understand that this has happened and that I will do everything I can. I got you ok, I got you." Trunks needed Goten to understand that no matter what happened he would always have his back.

Gotens eyes locked onto his older companion, he understood that something terrible was about to be said to him. He also knew that it didn't matter because Trunks was with him. No situation is too bad if he has Trunks with him. His fusion partner, his literal other half at this point was with him so he didn't need to worry. Goten smiled at Trunks with complete trust in his eyes. "I know. I know you got me so it doesn't matter. You don't have to look at me like that and you don't have to ask me to trust you. There's no one I could ever trust more. So whats up?"

Trunks' fears disappeared immediately and completely. Why did he even freak out like that in the first place? This was his chibi he was talking to. He never needed to doubt when it came to him. Trunk took one calming breath to reply when he was interrupted by sounds from behind. Goten, Trunks, and Kakashi immediately turn to the source and find that Zabuza has a senbon needle sticking from his neck. Up above they spot the shinobi who had thrown it.
