Chapter 8

"Mum!" Lilly cried as she stumbled out of the visitor's fireplace at St. Mungo's and raced towards Ginny, who circled her in a strong embrace.

Ginny felt her daughter trembling. She pulled back to look at Lily's face and did not miss the tear track, "Oh sweetie Dad's going to be ok."

Ginny heard James sigh in relief and she looked up to give him a reassuring nod, beckoning him over to join the embrace, which he willingly complied. Ginny brushed her hand over his messy hair, which caused him to finally dropping his older brother façade to let his worry show through.

"Where's Albus?" Lilly asked

"He should becoming through any sec with Uncle Nev." Responded James

Ginny's eyes crinkled with worry she knew that this news must have come as a nasty shock to Albus, who out of the three children took after Harry the most. But, on queue Al and Neville appeared. Al's eyes looked red rimmed, but clearly Neville had said just the right thing to help Albus feel calmer in the face of crisis.

Ginny and Neville made eye contact and shared a moment of silent understand.

"Thank you!" she mouthed as she pulled Albus in for a hug. She was grateful that Neville had been able to see to kids and escorted them safely to St. Mungo's.

Neville turned to leave not wanting to interfere with such and intimate family moment when Ginny Called after him, "Nev wait." She ran to give him a proper hug, "Harry is going to be ok, it was scary there for a second, but they think he will only be here for a day or two."

"Oh Gin that's great to hear. I was worried when Ron called me." Ginny nodded as Neville continued, "Look I got to get back for afternoon class, but please let me know if there is anything I can do."

"I will Nev. Thanks."
