Christmas had come and gone and so had Blaine. After a small Christmas dinner with his family he would be picked up early December 27th in an inconspicuous black SUV and taken to the closest airport. It surprised him that the goodbyes never seemed to get any easier, a quiet heartfelt goodbye to his husband in the shadows of the cold winter sunrise before slipping out of bed; telling Kurt to get some rest until Chanel awoke. As shitty as it was, the curly haired man was sneaking out without waking her. She was none the wiser to his extended hug the previous night or the longing kiss he pressed to her forehead but he just couldn't take her tears and devastated countenance when he would have to tell her once again that he was leaving, this time he wasn't sure when he would be back.

Heading downstairs Burt and Carole were enjoying a cup of artisan coffee from the expensive machine that Blaine had purchased for them as a Christmas gift, his father in-law not looking totally convinced by the offending cup that it was truly better than his $4 instant coffee that took mere seconds to prepare. Tiredly smiling, Carole handed him a travel mug with a kiss to the cheek, a firm handshake from Burt and the curly haired man was off.

Hours later Blaine sat alone in his five star hotel room, plush bedding beneath him as he lowered himself to lay on the bed. He closed his eyes wondering if it was all truly worth it.

A Few Months Later

Tonight was Blaine's last show of his worldwide tour, it had been the longest year of his life but he had had so many amazing experiences that would always stay with him. The last concert was in his current home town of New York, finding it symbolic that it would end in the same place as it had all started. Tonight though, Kurt and Chanel would be back stage watching, unbeknownst to them, Blaine had something special planned.

Currently Kurt was cuddling Chanel to his chest, big oversized noise cancelling headphones were covering her ears to block out the overwhelming sounds of the amps. The designer was enthusiastically bopping along to the music, his daughter singing along as she rocked out to her dad's current number one hit. The little girl had insisted on wearing the same outfit she had worn when Blaine and she had gone undercover to visit Kurt in his office.

The celebrity's song was coming to an end, he took off his guitar and handed it to a roadie before walking up to the microphone.

"Thank you and good night!" with those words, the stage went dark. Blaine jogged backstage and grabbed a bottle of water before draining the whole thing. The crowd loudly chanted 'Encore!' not getting enough of the celebrity's amazing show. With a wink to his husband he slowly walked back on stage as a spot light followed him to the microphone stand.

"You didn't think I would end the show without talking to you one more time did you?" Blaine asked, receiving loud cheers from the audience. "So what many of you don't know is that my beautiful family is here tonight, come on out guys!" Kurt's eyes quickly darted around and shook his head at his husband; God he couldn't remember the last time he had been on stage. When he noticed the hesitation, Blaine returned and grabbed his husband's hand to force him onstage which he gained uproarious applause. Chanel seemed shy at first but with a little courage started waving much to the delight of everyone watching.

"Now my very patient husband had to put up with my absence for the last twelve months while I was on tour, the tour was planned long before Chanel came into our lives. I'm so grateful for everything he has done while I was away and I think he deserves a round of applause." Kurt tinged pink at the praise and gave a little bow to the crowd. Blaine motioned to a roadie who bought over another microphone and gave it to the designer. Chanel reached out for him surprisingly, but had grown attached to him over the day. He took the little girl in his arms an assured the parents that she would be safe backstage with himself and Blaine's manager Santana.

"Now Kurt," Blaine began.

"Yes?"

"Remember when we were back in Dalton's common room all those years ago, I placed a CD player on the table asked you a few questions before the music began to play." Blaine began, with a motion of his wrist the opening of 'Baby Its Cold Outside' started to play.

Kurt eyed him suspiciously "I do but if you expect me to remember the lyrics now, you are delusional." Earning laughter from the crowd.

"Would it help if we had the proper outfit?"

"Proper outfit?" Two Dalton Academy Blazer were brought out to the men by the stage hands which they were helped into.

"I thought I finally got rid of that damn blazer all those years ago." Blaine strutted over to his husband, placed a loving hand on his cheek and smirked.

"Kurt you love the blazer and you know it." The crowd gushed and cheered. Blaine danced away and began singing, the designer gave into his resolve and joined in. It had been months since he had sang in front of an audience, years since he had sung with his husband in concert. Once he decided on fashion, his singing dreams were pushed to the side; he had almost forgotten the rush it would bring. They flirted with each other, playing into the song; playing cat and mouse the couple loving every minute of it.

As the song was ending Kurt let himself be caught staring into each other's eyes as they sang the last note. They lent in to share a kiss but the celebrity caught the designer off guard by dropping to his knee, confused, Kurt tried to pull him up to his feet only for Blaine to shake his head. An excited cheer erupted in the background.

"Kurt-"

"Are you proposing? We are already married, don't put me through the stress of planning another wedding I almost didn't survive the first time-"

"Kurt," Blaine cut in, interrupting his husband's nervous babble. "Everyone knows what an amazing father you are, how generous, kind and giving you can be. I know it was so difficult for you to raise Chanel by yourself, almost like you were a single parent-"

"No baby, I wasn't." Kurt assured.

"You were, there is no use denying it. As much as I tried to help, you can't raise a child through a screen. I'm sorry for what I put you through, I don't know how you managed everything." Blaine confessed, Kurt gave him a sad smile as he noticed his husband reach into the breast pocket of his Dalton Blazer.

"But this time it will be different," Blaine handed over a folded photo, watching in anticipation.

Confused once again, Kurt deftly unfolded the photo and looked on with perplexity. It was a little blurry and honestly it didn't look like much but when he noticed that white blob in the middle of the page, his legs gave out. He threw his arms around the other man, almost knocking him to the ground; Blaine chuckling gleefully as he reciprocated just as enthusiastically. The screens behind them lit up with a copy of the picture currently in Kurt's hands, showing the audience what they were missing from the couple's private conversation.

What the crowd didn't know, that ever since Kurt had mentioned having more children to him on one of the nights he had returned it had stuck in his brain and the thought never went away. Every spare moment he had went into organising meetings, phone calls, emails with surrogacy agencies. The couple had had so many blood, urine, sperm and multitude of other tests in the past months to determine whether they were healthy enough to conceive.

Sure it had been a little awkward at times and foreign to them as last time they had adopted their child. In the end they had both been deemed viable, deciding that it was only fair if they both provided a sample and let nature or a scientist in a lab coat choose who would be the biological father, it wasn't that important to them as long as they got a healthy bundle of joy out of it.

Blaine explained that they should be expecting their little baby in six short months and had only received the call earlier today. Kurt couldn't keep the beaming smile off his face as he stared at the sonogram photo in his hands. A mischievous smile crossed the designers face to which the celebrity raised an intrigued eyebrow.

"You know something honey?"

"What's that?" Blaine asked, forgetting that they now standing on the stage of Madison Square Garden in front of thousands of people; holding his husband close and staring lovingly into his eyes.

"Maybe you should organise another tour, just so you'll be able to pay for all the redesigning I have planned for our baby's new room." Cheers and laughter were loudly heard from the crowd as all the lights faded to black.

THE END

That's it! It feels so strange to actually finish a story. Tell me what you think, I would love to know, thanks for hanging around this long!
