Fuuta had always been a lover of all things sweet. There was no one to blame other than Kyoko and Haru. The two girls had nurtured his tooth when he was young, constantly dragging him to cake shops and places of the sort.

That's why you were ecstatic upon finding a packet of grape-flavored pop rocks.

You hunted down the teen, a wide smile on your face as you did so. You found him in the backyard. He was hanging out with Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto. The group seemed to be doing nothing in particular; they were lounging about in the shade, catching up on things.

"Fuuta! I have to show you something!"

The four males all turned their heads to look at you. Fuuta smiled, his warm eyes centering in on you and having their effect of making you feel like the only girl in the whole world. Mmm, you loved that. "(Y/n), what is it?"

"I found something," you said. You plopped down beside him on the grass and held up your hand, proudly displaying the candy. "Check it out!"

"Hey, pop rocks," Yamamoto said. "I love those."

"I've never tried them," Tsuna chimed in.

Gokudera snorted indifferently. "Feh."

"That's cool," Fuuta said, sounding genuine.

"I know!" An idea began shaping itself in your mind. Your smile broadened as you turned to face him. "Hey, do you want some?"

He responded with a, "Sure, why not? I haven't had pop rocks in so long—m-mmphf!"

In a smooth motion, you had ripped open the packet, poured half the contents into your mouth, grabbed a fistful of his shirt, and wrenched him towards you to connect lips.

The effect was instantaneous. The candy sizzled upon contact with your tongue. They fizzled and popped inside your mouth, leaving behind a slight buzzing sensation. At first, you gasped. Fuuta did the same, his lips parting open wide; and some of the candy slid onto his tongue, doing the same thing.

You quickly adjusted to the sensation and kissed Fuuta with passion. Even though it was sort of weird, the pop rocks electrified the kiss. You couldn't help a breathy moan from escaping.

"Mmm~n."

It wasn't a beautifully choreographed kiss. Teeth clinked, noses bumped, lips smacked. But it was feverish and hot and scrumptious and grape-flavored.

When the fizzling had died out, you pulled back slowly. A thin strand of saliva hung from Fuuta's lips to your own before breaking. The darkened look in his eyes gave you shivers, the good kind. Dropping your gaze to the ground, you beamed.

Yamamoto's laughter broke the heady atmosphere. "Wow! Those must've been good, huh? Now I'm really craving some myself." He laughed again.

You'd forgotten the other guys were even there. Looking up, you found light blushes lingering on their faces, although Yamamoto was grinning, Gokudera was scowling, and Tsuna seemed horrified.

"Wha-wha-what-," Tsuna stammered, waving his hands frantically in front of his face.

Gokudera was on the same page. "You idiots, don't do that in front of Juudaime!" he snapped, trying to regain his composure.

Getting to your feet, you reached down and tugged Fuuta up. "All right, fine. We'll go inside then." When Fuuta met your eyes, startled, you held up the packet. "There's still half left."

The twinkle in his eye was somewhat mischievous. "See you guys later," he said to the guys, with a slight wave before following you toward the house.

To this day, Fuuta's favorite candy remains to be pop rocks.
