Chapter 20 Curtain Call

Seven months later

This was it the day The Rollins family had been waiting for it was graduation day.

For the Rollins family they had been through one hell of an adventure over the past few months from being the picture perfect family to being in ruins back to a perfect family.

Christy Vicky Serene Heather and Ilene had all decided to go to the school in northern New York where Vicky had gotten a scholarship, she had told everyone that she was not going to be running track in college instead she was going to focus on getting her degree in criminal justice.

Amanda and Olivia were shocked that Vicky chose to give up track for academics, but the bigger shock came when Christy told everyone that she would be pursuing a career in law to become an attorney.

Christy was also given a scholarship based on her 3.52 GPA.

Serene had moved in with her birth parents which was working out well and she told them she was putting her track career on hold to become an attorney she to could follow in her birth mothers foot steps.

Upon hearing their children s chosen career paths all the parents planned a big party after graduation.

"Christy Vicky you guys ready you have less then an hour before graduation." Olivia called.

"We're done mama." Christy called as she and Vicky came out in matching red dresses under their red graduation gowns.

Olivia and Amanda took pictures before getting to the school.

A short drive later the Rollins-Benson made their way to Masters high and were seated waiting for the ceremony to begin.

After all the opening speakers were done it was announced that Serene was named valedictorian.

A few hours later the track team met up at the graduation party for the Rollins and Novak kids Heather and Ilene had made the surprise announcement that they were postponing their wedding so that they could get married at the same time their teammates were as a sign of unity.

After eating dinner the track team got together one last time.

Serene called for the track team to meet her in the center of the room at the restaurant that they rented out.

"Everyone if we could have your attention there's something we want to do."

"Every year the track team gets together and honors two people who help us off the track with the honor guard award so this years honor dragons are Christy Rollins and Nikki Novak."

Serene happen to be carrying two white sport jackets with dragons circle the words honor guard on the back.

After the dinner the families went back to the Amanda and Olivia's where Amanda and Olivia had made an announcement.

"If we could have everyone's attention we have announcement." Olivia said trying to contain her excitement.

"We have set a date for our wedding we've decided that we will be getting married December 24."

Everyone in the room applauded as Amanda kissed Olivia and thought to herself Olivia is the one shes perfect only she would have the faith to take a chance on us."
