I'm so Confused!

"Yes sir, everything is ready for the auction," Alaindelon courteously answered.

"I see. How about the blind dates I've set for Hilda? Is everything turning out as planned?"

"Well, about that sir…"

"What?"

On a far corner, Alaindelon saw Lamia zipped her mouth, telling him not to spill the beans to their master. They would be dead meat for sure. Alaindelon sighed before speaking again. This time, he's being extra careful not to spout anything about the blind dates.

"The princess is carefully deliberating her date experiences with the guys, and it is doing pretty well."

"I see. That piece of shit knows how to follow orders now, huh?" he chuckled. "Well then, I want everything ready when I come back and make sure that the preparation for the annual auction is progressing well."

"Roger that," and with that, the conversation ended. Alaindelon wiped his sweat away. Hiding everything in a week's time is too much for them.

"We need to do something about it, don't we?" he asked Lamia, his voice is quite unmotivated.

"Yeah. But it is Hilda-sama we're talking here. It's not like we can change her in a snap of a finger."

"Do we need to prepare to be fired now? I can't think of anything to solve this problem," with anxiety cropping up to his head, Alaindelon sighed again.

"We still have time left. Yes, changing the princess mind is impossible, but changing the little mind of that delinquent might be a piece of cake," Lamia smirked, as she thought of a brilliant idea.

The big dude's eyes widened, as he is getting Lamia's message. This is gonna be fun, he thought.

"Well then, let's start putting this plan in to action," and the two headed out.

"Goddamit. Do I need to spend my whole day being bugged again?" Oga cursed without hesitation, to think that it is such a great day. He's on his way to his master's house.

"Do you always need to curse whenever you're with me? Can't you be a little happy that I'm walking with you in this filthy road?" Hilda narrowed an eye on him, showing her annoyance.

"Do I look happy every time I see you or when I'm with you? Hell no," he rolled his eyes.

"Oh, now you're in denial, you asshole. I know very well that you enjoyed our little rendezvous on that island," Hilda continued to tease him. She enjoys seeing him in total annoyance and ready to burst anytime.

"WHO TOLD YOU?! " Oga raised his voice as he was losing in their argument.

He said that, but in fact, he DID really enjoy their "date" on the beach. He saw a side of her that not everyone is lucky enough to see; her sweet side, the matured one, and the fun-to-be-with personality. It's not like every day she has that kind of aura within her. She's always surrounded by that "you're-oh-so-dead" atmosphere. Besides, he did say that he'll think about her feelings for him. Feelings, huh? Since when did he become aware of that? Well, if you trace back, he did have some for Aoi, but not on the same level as this woman. Why is that? He barely knows the psycho. As for Aoi, he knows her for a decade. Did something really change inside of him? Who knows?

"Oi, how long do you plan on ignoring me, you gutter-trash?" Hilda glared at him with her deadly orbs, hands on her waist.

"What is it again? Breaking down my thinking…" Oga retorted, annoyed, while he's tapping the head of the sleeping baby clinging on his back.

"Like hell I'm gonna repeat myself. Beg for it."

Oga gritted his teeth out of annoyance. "This girl…" and he cursed under his breath.

"Sigh. You really are pathetic, aren't you? Making me repeat myself, you piece of shit. Like I said, be on that auction… as my date," Hilda said, and turned away, blushing. She's been forcing Oga quite some time now, but inviting him to attend an auction with her, where a lot of people would gather together and the possibility of them being unspotted is zero, it is such a bold thing .

"Huh?!" Oga exclaimed, bewilderment on his face.

"And one more thing…" she added.

"What more? Do you really plan on making my life miserable?" Oga cried, realizing that he can't escape her grasp.

"Prepare… a lot of money."

"What?"

"I was supposed to meet Tatsumi, but he's late. Wonder what's gotten into him…" Aoi stared blankly at her phone, waiting for Oga's text. She's been waiting there like forever. "Did he forget about it?" she asked herself.

"Nee-san!"

Aoi turned her head as she heard someone was calling for her. It was Nene.

"Nee-san!" Nene jumped towards Aoi and hugged her tightly. From the way she acted, you can tell that she missed her terribly.

"Nene!" Aoi rejoiced, seeing her childhood friend for more than a decade. She missed her too.

"I finally got a hold of you! I went to your house but your Grandpa told me that you went out. I am lucky to stumble upon you here!" Nene told Aoi, with so much happiness and excitement in her tone.

"Same here. Wow, it's been so long, you've grown beautifully!" she complimented Nene, which made the gal blush a little.

"What are you talking about, you are more beautiful, and you're so gallant every now and then," she added, making the compliments coming one after another.

"Ahaha, that was nice of you to say, Nene. Anyways, are you alone? Where are the others?" Aoi asked Nene as she was observing around, hoping that she'll see the other Red Tails members.

"Oh, I haven't told them that I'm going to your house today, but if you want to see them too, I can easily give them a call," Nene fished out the phone from her pocket and started dialling numbers.

"Wait!" Aoi halted the redhead from calling them. "Wait a minute."

"Oh, is there any problem, Nee-san?" Nene asked out of curiosity. The way she stopped her is somewhat different, like, she can't go with them now or something else.

"N-nothing really…" and she checked her phone again. No message. "I guess it can't be helped…"

"What is?"

"Don't mind me. Let's call them, shall we?" and she flashed a modest smile.

"Roger!" and Nene started dialling their numbers, one by one.

Aoi flip her phone and typed a message.

'Seems like you are not coming… have you forgotten? Anyways, I'm going out with the girls.'

Send.

Oga laid the sleepy head baby on the couch and turned the TV on. He has nothing to do in the apartment. Himekawa is away for family business. He thought of inviting Furuichi for a game. He searched for his phone in his pocket… and found nothing.

"What the…"

He sighed.

"It's so boring in here…" Oga walked toward the telephone and dialled Furuichi's number. It took a while before the creep answered.

"Hello?"

"Furuichi, come over, let's play Dragon Quest. It's so boring in here," Oga said while picking his nose.

"Oh, right away. Hey you, be sure to have some foods ready. I'm starving," he retorted while wearing his jeans.

"Poor creep, since when you're my kid. I ain't your father…" the brunette complained.

"Pizza is okay! Come on! I won't come!" Furuichi threatened the delinquent that made him grit his teeth.

"Tch. Fine, just come over. I'm dead bored here," and he hung up.

After hanging the phone, he dialled a number again and made a call.

"She's not answering… tch."

After a few moments of playing on the chair, changing channels to find a good show, playing with Baby Beel, tumbling and doing some crazy antics just to kill time, someone rang the doorbell. Oga hurriedly rushed to the door and opened it. It was someone unexpected.

"Tojo?!" his eyes widened in surprised.

"Oga?!" Tojo exclaimed as he was surprised too. But more to his surprised, Oga is now living in a luxurious condo unit, and that's what more surprising for him. "Wow, nice house you got there," he said in astonishment.

"That aside, what the hell are you doing here?" he ignored Tojo's compliment and instead led the topic back why the hell this buffy man is in his front door.

"Oh yeah, someone dialled for a pizza," and he raised the boxes of pizza, and it emitted a delicious scent that made his stomach growl.

"What? You're a delivery guy now?"

"It's my part time job," Tojo said proudly.

"Wow," Tojo can't assure whether Oga is being amazed or being sarcastic. He immediately paid the part-timer and Tojo walked away. He noticed that Oga slipped some tip. He was amused.

Oga was about to shut the door when Tojo glanced his way and talked to him all of sudden. "Oh yes, before I forgot it…" Tojo blurted out, making Oga kept the door open.

"What is it?"

"I see that Kunieda's back. I saw her yesterday when I was on my way home," he grinned with a teasing aura in his tone. He knows what's between the two.

"Oh, yes…" he, himself wasn't sure if he's glad or what. Something's missing.

"Oh! Shit… I have another delivery! Gotta go Oga. See you around!" and with a that Tojo ran like there's no tomorrow.

"Seems like that idiot is not home," Lamia let a heavy sighed out, as she was running out of idea where the hell is that delinquent brunette is. She and Alaindelon have been searching like forever.

"Where might he be? Not in school, it's Saturday," Alaindelon added to Lamia's worries. She's actually thinking that Oga might be at school, killing time.

"Well… where can he be at?" and she stared up to the sky. It was serene.

"Hello? Can you please bring Oga out here? I want to challenge him…" Furuichi sarcastically said, while facing his best friend. Oga's not his usual self, his head is elsewhere.

"What the hell, Furuichi? Want me to punch you?" Oga gave him a baffled look. Even the way he responded to the white hair dude was so lazy.

"At this rate, I would rather play with Baby Beel, right, Baby Beel?" and he looked at the baby who's sitting between them.

"Dah!" the little boy retorted, ready to battle Furuichi in a snap.

"You've been losing every match. Has something gotten into you?" he asked out of curiosity, but deep down, he's concerned.

Oga kept his silence. Is it really okay if they talk about it? I mean, he's Furuichi… he's a creep. They've been friend since elementary, and they never talked about anything about what's bothering him: a girl. He found himself messing his head and whining like a kid. He's so confused.

"If you keep that attitude, I'll play with Beel…" Furuichi reminded him, as the new match is beginning. "This isn't like you, what's the matter?" he looked at his messy friend, and this time he won't let any excuses to get in the way.

"Hey Furuichi…" Oga started.

"What?"

"We've friends for quite a long time now, right?"

"Nope… I don't have money…"

"Idiot! Let me finish first!" and he punched Furuichi in the face. "Cut me out like that again and I'll send you flying, seriously!" he complained, as he was getting serious.

"Wow, looks like it was really serious. Okay, I'll cut the theatrics. I'm all ears," Furuichi faced Oga, with his "serious-but-annoying "look. Oga gulped, and ready to start again.

"Well, the thing is… about this… this…" Oga stuttered, trying his best to say the word: love.

"Come on, say it…" Furuichi was getting impatient.

Oga's face turned red and beads of sweat were starting to protrude from his reddened face, and it was like steam was coming out of his head from the embarrassment.

"The thing is…"

Furuichi sighed. "Love? About Hilda?"

Oga bowed his head and nodded, trying to hide his humiliation. He's not really used to this kind of topic and situation he's in.

"Well, what about it? What's the concern?" Furuichi insisted, to make sure Oga will speak this time.

"Well, I already told you that we had been to an island last Thursday right? And you know what happened?"

"So something really DID happened?!" Furuichi lost it, and his mind was flooded by dirty thoughts.

"No! That's not what I meant! Don't compare me to you!" the delinquent protested, defending his self.

"Then what happened?!" he tried to match Oga's personality.

"Well, I just saw a side of her that nobody has seen…"

"Her naked side?!"

"STUPID!" and he gave Furuichi a burying punch.

Oga became serious. Remembering their leisure time on that island makes him think otherwise. Yes, he waited for Kunieda's comeback, but for what? Does his feelings for this girl is as strong as before they parted? Or did it waver because of Hilda's coming?

"You know Furuichi, Hilda showed me that normal side of her. Laughing, blushing, shy, and everything else. It's kind of refreshing…"

"So you're saying that, you're starting to like her?" Furuichi asked Oga, which left him dumbfounded. Like. Is that even the right term for these feelings he had for her?

"Well, about that, I'm still confused."

"How about Kunieda?" the white haired dude eyed Oga, waiting for an answer.

"Let's let her out of this... she's on a different league."

"Is Kunieda just a friend for you now that Hilda is here?" Furuichi bat an eye on him and wolfed down a slice of a pizza.

"Hm," he gulped. He doesn't even know how to respond to that question now.

"You know what Oga? I think you're confused because you keep yourself believing that it is impossible for you to like Hilda, and you still push yourself that you're in love with Kunieda. Why not let go of the past, if it hurts you and confuse you like this?" for a moment, Furuichi gave Oga an advice. It's not really in his character, but Oga thought that it might help him clear the burdens in his chest."

"Furuichi…"

"What? I sounded cool back there, right?" and he gave Oga one of his flashy smirks.

"Creep…" Oga murmured under his breath.

"I can hear you know…" and he gave him a baffled look.

"Sigh. Let's just go back to playing!" Oga let a heavy sigh out and picked up the controller. "I'm gonna beat your ass, Furuihchi!" and with that, he was all fired up.

"That's more I like it!" and Furuichi picked it up too.

"Ai!" Baby Beel joined in. He was more thrilled to see the two plays and beat each other's butts.

Just one the two is ready to give it their all, someone ring the doorbell.

"What the hell, just when the climax is here…" Oga lazily walked to the door and turned the knob just to be surprised by a big man's sudden hug.

"Oga-dono!" the big buffy man exclaimed and bear hugged the brunette.

"Tap out! Tap out!" he said between his breath.

"Finally found you!" the petite girl cried in success.

"GYAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Furuichi broke all the ruckus, and gawked at the newcomers. "Who the hell are they?!"

Alaindelon moved quickly to Furuichi's side. "Hmmm, and who might this young lad be?" he asked Oga while pointing at Furuichi.

"Is that how you greet? Asking questions?" Oga glared at him after chasing his breath.

"I would like to know, too. He reeks or creepiness," Lamia added.

"Who the hell are you guys?! And judgement when we just met? Seriously?!" Furuichi protested and cried like a bitch.

"Guess this can't be help. Furuichi, listen this guy," he pointed to Aliandelon "is Alaindelon… and this brat," he touched Lamia by the shoulder "is Lamia… got it? They are Hilda's PA's."

"Nice meeting you…" Lamia shot him a deadly look, as she sensed that Furuichi is really a creep.

"Nice…"

"Now, enough of this, why are you two even here? We're in the middle of a game you know…" Oga complained, scratching his head.

"Oh yes, before we forgot completely… we're here to inform you…" Lamia pointed at him.

"About what?"

"Oga, you should be careful… our Master…"

"Master?" Oga asked, with curiosity in his tone.

"Hilda-sama's father… is coming in a week… and with things as it is now; I say that, you should be careful. He's not your average old man," Lamia's voice trailed off, she seems scared.

"Now that Hilda-sama can't be easily swayed by what she's doing, I say that we should help you," Alaindelon's voice shows concern. What exactly is Hilda's father like?

"Help in what?" Oga asked in confusion.

"Help you… to win his favor," silenced devoured the room.

"OH! I COMPLETELY FORGOT! I SAW KUNIEDA WITH THIS GUY, AND I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO TELL OGA!" Tojo made a scene on the road as he was on his way to his next part-time job. He sighed.

"Oh well, there's still next time…" and he continued walking.
