Chapter 11: I know I'm Devious
Haven looked down at the twelve foot Inuyasha sized crater with a smirk on her face. 'Idiot.' She thought while holding Kagome's left leg.
"Maybe now you'll think about the garbage you say before comes out your mouth!" The miko said. When see had drag them back to camp, Kagome immediately began naming off a round off sits. It also came along with a long lecture for the male hanyou and he started on another round of curses.
Now, it wasn't that Haven didn't know that it was wrong to say though words, if Kagome telling Inuyasha multiple times it was wrong wouldn't have gotten through her head enough nothing would have, but it had been a slip of the tongue at the river. And honestly. Would you have wanted to get in trouble either? So, like anyone else her age, she decided to blame someone else. Inuyasha just happened to be the victim.
"Damn it wench! I didn't teach that brat anything! She either heard it in one of the villages, or it was your bad 'parenting' that made her say it." Inuyasha snapped making the whole group tense.
Kagome's eye twitch as her fists began to glow a light pink. "Inuyasha," she said making Haven grin at the frightened hanyou.
"Kagome. Wait! Don't say-"
"SSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!" Havens lavender eyes followed the different groups of birds that scattered from the miko yell before landing on the out of breath woman as she patted her head.
"From now on, whatever Inuyasha says is not aloud to be repeated. Understand?" She asked making a sweet smile spread across the little girls face. "Yes Lady Kagome."
The woman's eyes softened a little before giving a small rub to her puppy ears and going off to make dinner. Haven watched her for a moment before slowly turning around a the sound of Inuyasha digging himself out of his crater.
He must have sensed her eyes on him because a second later his gold eyes met her purple ones. She let a devious and smug smirk spread across her face and almost laughed as the hanyou's jaw hit the ground a second later.
His shocked expression quickly changed to one of rage as his eyes narrowed on her. "You planned that you little brat." He said dangerous and low enough for Kagome not to hear.
Haven's head turned to look behind her a moment to see Kagome focused on the food. Turning back to face him with a raised brow, the pup began her graceful walk over to her disheveled pack leader.
She stopped an arms length away from him, brow still raised. "Who? Me? Why would I of all hanyou want you, a brother of my kind, to be hurt? I promise you Inu-sama, I didn't purposely plan to say that word to make Kagome put you in a hole."
She watched his nose twitch furiously trying to find any hint of a lie before stopping a second later when he became unsuccessful in his search. She hadn't planned to do that. It just happened, so there was no lie to be found in that.
"Keh! I still don't believe you brat. I know your just as twisted as Kagome when she's mad, so don't think I'm gonna forget this."
Haven's nose twitched as she just shrugged and began walking away. "Whatever you say Inu-sama."
Her braided ponytail swayed on her back with every step she took as she called over her shoulder, "and you better hurry and climb on your hole. Kagome's finished with dinner and I believe she will be more then happy to give your ramen to me and Shippo tonight."
With that, the young hanyou took off with a giggle as Inuyasha yelled behind her.
A/N: Sorry this was so short, but there wasn't really anything important I wanted to put in this chapter. Also I'm soooooo sorry about not updating. I just haven't had the inspiration to write, but I'm trying.
P.S: Sorry for any mistakes.
