WARNING: EXTREMELY LONG AUTHOR'S NOTE AND NOT A STORY CHAPTER

I started this story five years ago when I was fourteen? I think and it was my first fanfiction ever. I definitely did not expect to get two hundred reviews and over twenty thousand views. Neither did I expect to have people still reviewing now, five years later when I've all but abandoned the story. So, for the sake of the people still reading this story, and for my sake because this unfinished story has been plaguing me for years now, I'm going to finish this story.

A reviewer gave me the idea of having 39 chapters in total so that's what I'll do (not counting this author's note so total forty chapters). I'm also going to go reread the entire series up until the latest books so that I can end the entire story in a nice melancholic way where maybe all the Cahills have grown up. I don't think I want to kill Natalie and Isabel and Evan and so many other people because I cried when they died and I'm not doing that to other people too. The reason why I want to end with them all grown up is because over the years, I've grown up too and this'll kinda give the story the sense of completion it needs after so long.

Don't expect my humour to be the same because it's been really long since I've joked around like that in real life. My humour now is pretty limited to tumblr textposts and memes. Such is the life of the average millennial I guess?

To all the people who have followed this story from the beginning, thank you for coming with me on this journey. Your reviews and just you reading this story helped me through many difficult times in my teenaged years. It's starting to trip me out that the people who have read this story from the start are also five years older like me? Holy shit?

I'm going to go through all two hundred reviews now and reply as many as I can starting from the latest. FYI, as of this point, I have not reread my story yet so this is all pretty much new to me again.

Ella Lily: I hope you and your sibling have a great relationship because mine sucks. R &R means read and review by the way. I personally prefer Taylor Swift's slower songs because her more catchy songs sound really mainstream. The stupidest thing I've ever done is possibly rolling out of my bed and fracturing my shoulder.

Eliana311: I actually don't get what's with all the hate towards Evan? He's a fairly nice guy. He just seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (from what I can remember). But I also do remember being young and being hella shocked that Amy got a boyfriend that is not Ian.

To those wondering about my school system: I'm from Singapore so we don't have things like summer vacation and winter vacation. What we have are terms and semesters and at the end of every term which is about a quarter of the year, we have a holiday. And two terms together are a semester so one semester is the first half of the year and the second semester is the second half of the year. The first term holiday and third term holiday are a week long. The second term holiday is a month long. The fourth term holiday is about a month and a half long. Typically we have exams right before the holidays.

I'm going to strive to finish this story by this year (2018) and if I don't, you're all welcome to flame me in the reviews. Literally start a riot with pitchforks and flaming torches in the reviews. I get notifications for every review on this story in my email so a riot in my email will definitely get my attention.

I'm sorry that this isn't a story chapter like some people might hope. I say some people because I've abandoned this story for so long that I really have no expectations how this story is going to be received from now on given that most of the original readers have grown up.
