"Hmm… What a beautiful day"

Sophie closed her eyes in content, feeling the sun on her pearl skin, now young again. She felt two firm arms surrounding her and gasped.

"Howl! When will you stop startling me like that?"

He leaned his head against hers. "When you get used to it my dear Sophie"

She smiled, and looked at the beautiful man behind her. His green eyes searched hers and Howl sighed, happy.

Suddenly he grabbed and carried her to the castle.

"Howl!" a chuckle "Howl where do you think you're taking me?" Howl ignored and gave her a peck on the cheek "Howl! I have to pick up flowers for the shop! Howl!" Sophie giggled when Howl stopped to shower her with small kisses.

"Not today" he murmured on her hear, giving her another sweet kiss on the cheek and starting to walk again.

"But-"

"It's our day off"

"We don't have day offs" she laughed again

"We do now"

"But why"

"Because I'm happy, I love you and I want to spend a whole day with you just for me… And your pancakes"

She laughed again. "Can't you just have my pancakes and half me?"

"I think we have dealt with enough detached people this month, Sophie" he frowned.

She laughed again at his cute expression. "All right, fine. I'm all yours"

"You already were" he gave her smirk.

"Oh really?"

"Yes from the moment you were born"

"That long?"

"H-hmm…" He nodded, stopping to open their door and entering.

"Why do you say that?"

"Because you were destined to me, my dear Sophie Hatter. And that's why" he let go of her to rummage on his pockets, taking a small blue box out. "I want you to be officially mine… Forever"

He kneeled, opening the box to show a beautiful ring, with a diamond and two emeralds, in the shape of a rose. Sophie couldn't believe what was happening, closing her eyes and opening them again, making sure she wasn't dreaming.

"Howl…" the faint whisper gave place to a stream of tears, as Sophie threw her arms around his neck. "I love you Howl!"

"I take that as a yes" He chuckled, hugging the women who had given him his heart back, only to steal it again.
