Chapter 1: Prologue and Challenge

Toltiir was bored.

Now anyone could tell you that this was a very bad thing. A God of Chaos becomeing bored will never ever end well. When they get bored they have the annoying tendency of messing around with various worlds and timelines. The last time Mazetra the Forgotten messed around he turned a group of pimates into an advanced civilization capable of achievements rivaling those of the gods themselves given enough time.

And so Toltiir did the only thing he could think of: He picked up the phone and called some of his friends.

#Ring-Ring-Ring, Click#

"Hello?" An older female voice with a Japanese accent answered the phone.

"A Takahashi-san, its Toltiir. I was wondering if you were interested in another Bet. I-#Click#-Hello? Darn guess she didn't appreciate my efforts last time around. Hmm... Now who else can I bother, I mean hang out with..." It was quite a comical sight to see a black cat cupping its chin with a paw in thought.

"Kubo-san is busy taking care of the after-life, Akamatsu-kun finally got a job as a teacher at a girls school and left that old inn of his, and Sonoda-san is still doing jobs down in Chicago. Darn it is there no-one else I know tha- wait a moment" The entire cave was illuminated by the lighbulb that breifly appeared above the cat's head before it began dialing.

#Ring-Ring-Ring, Click#

"Yea who is this?"

"Its Toltiir. I was wondering, you wouldn't mind getting together for a bit, would you?"

"Nah I'm just making people miserable and ruining their dreams, I can take a break for while though. What's on your mind?"

"Well, Kishimoto-san. You know Mimir's Well?"

"Yes, who doesn't?"

"You mind coming here. I got something to discuss with you."

"Sure thing, one moment please." #click#

Toltiir set the phone down and turned to watch as a young man appeared in swirl of leaves, odd considering they were in a cave with no access to the outside worlds. The young man spoke first.

"Well what is it? I don't have all decade you know."

The cat grinned smugly, as well as a cat could that is. "How about we make a little Bet. And I found the perfect timelines to do it with." With that the cat jumped off its post and led the young man over to a mirror-like pool of water the glowed dimly in the darkness. Stopping at the edge Toltiir picked up a small pebble and tossed it in. As the ripples radiated out the pool changed, showing what appeared to be a battle between a black haired teenager with lightning covering one hand, and a blond-haired teenager with giant swirling ball in his hand.

"I propose this as our Bet. We each find one person from the multi-verse, no matter the gender or age, and have them raise Naruto. Whichever one raises him the best wins the Bet. You interested?" The young man sat down at the edge of the pool and picked up a small stone.

"Oh very. Lets begin, shall we?"

Okay now I've set the scene. What's next? Thats partially up to you. This is a challenge for you as well as set up for some one-shots of my own.I've got three set to go up soon, I'm still working on them, but they are: Gendo Ikari, James Bond, and Alucard from Hellsing.

You can pick anyu character you want. However there are some guidelines, I won't say rules as if done well enough I won't care, that should be followed.

#1. It can be a One-shot or a multichapter. But it must be at least five-thousand words when done. I would prefer them to reach at least ten thousand, but I do realize that can be a bit much for some authors, including myself. Heh.

#2. No Sakura or Hinata pairings. There over done and I don't really like either too much. Unless they're done very well.

#3. Naruto must get some skills and traits from his parent. They can range from weapons and gadgets, like using Bond's laser watch, to abilities, like
Alucard's vampiric nature, to personality traits, like Gendo's driven and ruthless nature.

#4. Put him on whatever Team you want. But they must still do the bell test and introductions. Why? Read the next rule.

#5. Several scenes that must be included. These are: The meeting and adoption of Naruto, can be any age before ten. Any point in the academy. Depending on how he was raised, either the Mizuki fight or Genin exam. Team introductions and bell test. The First Chuunin Exam part. The Fight with Neji or a different finalist if you want. The Invasion. And last one, the fight at the Valley of the End.

If you want you can include as many other scenes as you want. Length of them does not matter, even a flashback counts.

And last and probably least ,if you take this up, send me a PM, I'll make a note of who you took up and your story title on my profile for others to find.

Happy Writing all!

Maelstorm of Blood.

Mimir's Well.

It had taken some time, but soon practically everyone in the know had arrived. Even the winner of the last Bet, Queen Titania, had arrived. The first to cast a stone into the Well was, suprisingly enough, the unlucky and near terminally shy Walker at Crossroads. When he had gone to cast in his pebble he had nearly tripped and fallen in himself. Poor guy. But, to Toltiir.

Toltiir stared into the mirror waters of the pool intently. He could not afford to lose this Bet to some practical unknown like last time. No this time he needed the perfect choice.

Suddenly he caught an intruiging flicker of an image pass by. Casting his will into the pool he dragged it back into focus. He stood watching for a time, as every minute passed his disturbing smile, which had appeared the moment he caught a glance at the image, grew larger and larger.

Toltiir abruptly dispersed the image and hopped away from his perch near the Well, causing all those gathered nearby in an attempt to see what was going on, to flinch back. Finding a nice clear spot, Toltiir leapt into the air and did a twirl, causing an object to fall to the ground when he landed.(Hey it worked for Sailor Moon.)

Grabbing the small silver cross with his mouth, Toltiir carried it over to the well and tossed it in. There was a flash of silver light as the surface of the water was disturbed. All present drew closer as they watched as a decision that was about to be made was averted, and a new set of orders were given. Toltiir grinned like the proverbial cat that had gotten the cream. Oh this was going to be good.

Maelstorm of Blood

A forest somewhere in the Elemental Nations.

At first there was nothing. The first sense to come back was touch, he could feel himself leaning against something rough, and the coolness of the shade. The next sense to come back was his sense of smell, his nose telling him that he was in a forest. He kept his eyes shut as painful pinpricks of light stabbed them through his sunglasses and eyelids. The last thing to come back to him was his sense of hearing, as someone, a child from the tone and pitch of the voice, was calling for their 'papa'.

He let out a groan of pain, he hadn't had a headache this bad since that one time he had to visit America. Now what was it that caused him such, oh yes. He had been called in to deal with an alleged vampire problem. All he found though was a cult of god-damned blood drinking pixies, oh how he hated pixies, that had deluded themselves into thinking they were vampires. However they forgot one important detail; Vampires don`t fucking SPARKLE! Damn pixies...

Now then, what the hell had happened? The last thing he could recall was... That's odd, he could't remember what he was doing last. He could remember a fight with that mad priest, yet again, and then going to his Master after that, but nothing more. Strange. Hmm, the fight went on longer than expected and the priest had managed to injure not only him, but also the young fledgling as well. If he remembered correctly, he had gone to his Master for permission to teach the fledgling how to regenerate after eating.

'But what had happened next? Ah yes, some boy with cat ears had appeared behind the Master and grabbed her. The fledgling and I had both leapt forwards, just managing to get a grasp on the Master and then... nothing. How... odd.'

Abruptly, the man in the shade was brought of his musings by a simple sentence. It wasn't the words that affected so much as voice they were spoken with. It may have sounded a bit different, younger perhaps, but it was nearly unmistakably her voice asking, "Father, are you unwell?"

His eyes snapping open immediately, he found himself staring into a pair of startling crimson eyes framed by short blonde hair. He blinked. The eyes blinked. He opened his mouth to say something but the air blew out of him as he was engulfed in a bone-crushing hug.

"Yay! Daddy's okay! I was so worried about you!" Stunned and confused by the flurry of words coming from the little blonde girl, who couldn't have been more than five years of age, he reached and patted her on the back to comfort her as he looked for the one who had broken him out of his reverie. Casting a glance around, idly noting that he was on some sort of well used pathway, he turned his head and stopped. His eyes bulged out of their sockets and his jaw, refusing to cooperate with his mind, fell slack.

Standing to the side of him was an impossible sight. A young girl, about a year older than the one clutching his chest, with a light tan skin and long blonde hair of a pale shade. He noted the concerned look in her blue eyes, her glasses reflecting the sun's light. Turning back to the child in his lap with trepidation he pulled her away from his chest and took a closer look, finding many similarities to another blonde girl he knew.

Suddenly all that the two young girls had been saying since he had awoken registered in his mind. Two words seemed to sum up the situation quite well.

"Oh hell."

Picking a direction at random, and hoping they came across someone, he led the girls, his daughters, towards what he hoped was civilization. So far they had been traveling most of the day and had yet to come across a single other traveller, which was odd considering how well maintained the roadway was. In the distance he could see what appeared to be a mountain, with something carved on the side of it. Hell they had better not be in America again.

But no, as they got closer he could see that what was carved onto the mountain were not the heads of past American leaders, but other figures. Also growing larger as they neared the carved mountain was what appeared to be a small fortress city, if the size of the walls were anything to go by. By the time the strange trio reached the gates night had fallen, with it a cool and soothing feeling of relief from the light of the sun. As they aproached the gate they noticed fireworks going off and the sounds of revelry from beyond the walls.

Unsuprisingly there were two guards stationed at the smaller entrance to the side of the great gates. They looked slightly put off by the appearance of the three travelers, the two young children and the intimidating appearance of the elder male of the group. One of the guards, with a bandage running across the bridge of his nose, came out of the gatehouse as the trio aproached.

"Heya! What can I help you with?" He watched with amusement as a short-haired blonde ran around him as if studying a butterfly before launching into speech.

"Oooh, you look kinda strong, but Daddy could still beat you! Daddy's taking us to find a new home! Do you think there's a home here? I hope so, and, ooh are those fireworks? Yay, I wanna go see the fireworks!" The bandage bearing chunin looked helplessly at his partner for an escape from the energetic child. His partner simply shook his head before going back to talking with the eldest of the group.

"Quite a bundle of energy I see, must be hard to deal with her." Said the chunin, his hair hanging over one eye.

"Yes, she can be a trifle, troubling at times. But she is my 'child' and I do love and care for her. Anyway, I was wondering if we could enter and find a place to stay for a while." The chunin's smile faded a bit.

"Unfortunately we can't let anyone past the gates after sundown. I'm truly sorry about that, but you and your daughters will have to wait out here until morning." Now it was the traveler's turn to frown, before an idea hit him. He turned to the long-haired blonde behind him.

"Daughter, you wouldn't mind if I..." He trailed off, one thing he had found was that although she appeared much younger, the blasted geis of her ancestor still held control over him and his powers. He smiled toothily as she gave a tight nod. Still smiling her turned back to the bemused chunin.

Lifting his hand he waved it front of the chunin's face while speaking in a commanding tone. "These are not the droids you're looking for, you will let us past the gates."

The chunin's eyes gained a glazed look to them as he parroted back the traveler's words. "You are not the droids we're looking for, we will let you past the gates." Shaking his head as the glaze dissapeared he started heading back to the gate house as he called to his partner over his shoulder. "Hey Kotetsu! Stop playing and let them through."

"But Izumo, I thought we weren't supposed to let people through?" He asked with a confused look.

"There are exceptions, besides they've been expected so we shouldn't delay them. Now get the keys and unlock the door already." Disengaging himself to the disapointed short haired blonde, the bandage wearing chunin, Kotetsu, pulled out a large key from his pocket before slipping it into the lokc of the small doorway next to the larger main gates.

Stepping aside he smiled as the travelers past through, leaning over to pat the child he had been playing with earlier on the head. "Now then don't go causing trouble for your father alright little girl? ANd enjoy your stay in Konohagakure." He said as he waved to them before closing the door and locking it.

The bandage wearing chunin lazily reassumed his position next to the gates. He looked over to his partner as something struck him.

"Hey Izumo, did you get any of their names?"

Maelstorm of Blood

Later, within Konoha.

The male traveler wandered through the village as they celebrated, based on what he gathered from overheard conversations and drunken boasts, the defeat of a great demon. He had found a hotel, and with a little bit of 'persuading' had gotten a room for the night and had settled in the two girls. After making sure they had fallen to sleep he had left to find out more about their new home.

Navigating his way through the sea of humanity he heard the sounds of drunken and anger filled shouting, as well as the sounds of weapons being rattled. Looking carefully around he spotted a group that was seperate from the rest, bearing torches and various farming implements and rusty old swords. It almost reminded him of home, all that was missing was the shouts of "get the demon" from the angry villagers.

Apparently one of the mob had spotted the target of their anger, as they had picked up the pace and moved down one of the alleys. One of them shouted something inaudible, though it was quickly picked up by the rest of the mob.

"The Demon went that way! Get it!" A frown stole across his face. Now that is just odd. He quietly followed the mob down the twisting back-alleys and sidestreets. When they stopped he stepped through the shadows and emerged right behind the last member of the group as they confronted their target.

His frown grew as he watched the villagers confront the 'demon'. The poor little child, as young as his 'daughters' was cowering in terror as the mob got closer. A low growl escaped his curled lips as the mob started throwing objects at the boy. As one of them stalked up to the boy and lifted his rusty sword into the air, the traveler decided he'd had enough.

*BOOM*

The sudden explosion was thunderous within the close confines of the alley. There was a flash before the chest of the villager was disintegrated. The villagers looked around themselves wildly, not noticing the shadows writhing along the walls and ground. One of the villagers turned to flee from whatever foul magic the demon had unleashed and found himself face to face with some sort of weapon. Looking past the object he saw the hand holding it tense and clutch the obje-

*BOOM*

Another explosion of sound and this time the villagers were able to pinpoint where it had come from. Frighteningly, to them, it come from the entrance to the alleyway. Turning cautiously, they nearly wet themselves in terror when they saw the headless corpse of one of their own lying in a pool of blood on the ground in front of a stranger.

The stranger gave them a terrifying smile as he lifted his still smoking weapon in one hand. He spoke quietly, yet all those in the alley were able to hear him perfectly.

"I must applaud your efforts, I would never have been able to arrange such a feast for myself. And the location is simply marvelous, here no one will hear your screams." And the villagers did scream, each giving voice to a sound of base primal terror as the writhing shadows around them gained eyes and opened tooth-filled jaws.

Naruto clutched his hands tightly around his ears in an attempt to block out the unholy sounds. He curled in on himself further and held his eyes shut as he felt warm sticky liquid land on his exposed skin. After a while he noticed that the screams had stopped. Opening his eyes briefly he quickly shut them again as they took in the scene in front of him. Every surface in the alley had been covered at least partially by blood, yet the only bodies were the one with a hole for a chest and the headless one from earlier.

Finally steeling himself he opened his eyes again, keeping them from looking too closely at his surroundings. Putting a hand on the ground, and ignoring the feeling of wetness, he pushed himself upwards. He started to walk forwards before colliding with something and falling backwards. He looked up and had to keep himsel from screaming when he saw that he had run into the stranger that had killed the villagers. His eyes hardened as he thought of his previous attackers. 'No way I'm acting like they did! If he's going to kill me at least I'll die fighting him.' Naruto thought angrily.

Jumping upwards he stood in front of the stranger, a defiant glare in his eyes. Taking a step forwards he let loose with a spinning haymaker. He was completely unprepared for his fist to be caught by the crinning stranger. Looking up into his eyes Naruto was suprised to see a warm smile and a touch of, pride? in the stranger's eyes.

"Well it is nice to know that I saved someone with a backbone. In fact, how would like to join my family? I'm sure my daughters would appreciate having a brother." Said the stranger with his smug smile. Naruto meanwhile had nearly fainted, not only had this man come and saved him from the villagers, but he was offering him a chance at a family as well!

"R-r-really? I-I'd like that. Please mister, er?" The stranger picking up on why the boy was hestiating, took off his hat and offered the boy a low bow.

"Allow me to introduce myself. Alucard Von Carstein, at your service. It appears someone wants to see me, so I will have take your leave." Naruto was puzzled over what Alucard meant, until an ANBU with a cat mask shunshined in front of them.

"The Hokage desires your presence. You as well Naruto." The ANBU added as Naruto started to edge away. Alucard reached forwards and grabbed Naruto's arm, before pulling him into the shadows. He gave a smug grin at the stunned ANBU as they vanished.

"I guess I shouldn't keep him waiting then. Later Miss Uzuki." He laughed darkly as the ANBU nearly fainted.

The Hokage's Office.

The Hokage sat staring into the crystal ball in front of his desk. He had decided to retire early this evening, he was starting to feel every one of his many years. Before he went to bed, though he thought it would be a good idea to check up on his surrogate grandson. The moment he saw the mob he sent out orders for the ANBU to go and detain them.

He watched with trepidation as the mob chased Naruto through the darker parts of the village, before cornering him in a dead-end alley. Sarutobi had to give a chuckle at that, a dead-end indeed. He had watched with interest as a stranger dressed in a strange styled red coat and hat arrive behind the unkowing mob. Sarutobi had been able to see the exact sequence of events after that.

The stranger had drawn his strange weapon, and aimed it at the villager who was about to strike down Naruto. There was a flash of light from the weapon and some sort of projectile had sped out and hit the villager. The weapon sounded similar to what some of the more radical members of Snow Country had experimented with during the last great war.

The Hokage had nearly had a heart attack when the stranger unleashed his bloodline, as nothing else could have created such an effect. Whatever bloodline it was it was certainly a terrifying one, the ability to manipulate shadows to an extent the Nara could only ever dream of, who knows maybe that is what they dream of all the time.

He almost had another heart attack when this, Alucard, grabbed Naruto and pulled him into the shadows whilst taunting the ANBU that had arrived. His brow furrowed in concentration as he tried to locate the missing duo. His heart stopped for a second when some spoke up from right in front of his desk.

"Hey Jiji-san! Someone wants to adopt me! He's got a lotta really cool tricks too!" The Hokage's head shot up and he stared at the targets of his search. Naruto was nearly bouncing off the walls, with stars in his eyes as he looked at Alucard, who had an enigmatic smile, the one that says 'I know something you don't'. The Hokage put a smile on his face, though behind it he was quickly running through all the possibilities as to why this man had pooped out of nowhere and offered to adopt the boy.

"That sounds wonderful Naruto. Why don't you step outside while I discuss that with Alucard first, hmm?" Asked Sarutobi, his eyes never leaving Alucard's.

"Sure thing Jiji!" Naruto said happily as he practically skipped out the door. The moment the door clicked shut the smile slid off of Sarutobi's face like it had never been, a cold calculating look in its place. Alucard simply kept up his infuriating smirk. The Hokage spoke first, his voice tinged with frost.

"I don't know who you are, but you had better not hurt the boy. I won't begrudge him the chance at a family, but I must look after the village's interest's first. How do I know you won't simply take him and run off?"

"Because I have my family to look after. Considering you know my name you must have been watching me deal with those, 'undesirables'. One of the drawbacks of my family's, you know it as a bloodline, nature is that it leaves us dependant on a particular food. Human Blood, preferable fresh." To his credit the Hokage did not flinch when Alucard said that.

"How large is your family and how many posses this bloodline?" Asked the Hokage, his eyes narrowed in focus.

"Just my two daughters and I. Only my youngest and I posses the bloodline, though the other may develop it in time. And trust me, we are used to being treated as outcasts and monsters, that is partially the reason why I want to adopt the boy. We can give him what he can't find in the village, acceptance." The Hokage nodded silently, acknowledging the unfortunate truth.

"I could arrange a deal with the prison and the I&T Division, you could have access to death row inmates when you need them. However I would need something in return from you. What can you offer me?" Asked the Hokage, a glint in his eye. This was a win-win situation for the village, Naruto would gain a family that would care for him, and the village could gain a powerful new warrior, possibly more if his family joins as well.

Alucard's smirk grew larger. When he spoke it was almost as if he was reading Sarutobi's mind. "I can offer you my services as a warrior as well my family's, if they are willing. My bloodline is unique to my family, and it also takes some characteristics based on the specific member that bears it. I believe that should be more than enough. It is possible that with enough time the boy could develop it as well."

The Hokage nodded and offered his hand, which Alucard took with a crushing grasp. The Hokage had a smile on his face now." Wonderful, I'll set things up with Ibiki tommorow. I'll leave you a week to get settled in as I believe you don't have a residence yet. I'll also get the paperwork done so that Naruto and your daughters can attend the Shinobi Academy, that is if you want them too, of course." Sarutobi let out a small sigh of relief when Alucard nodded his aquiesence. "Now why don't we tell Naruto the good news? Oh Naruto!" The Hokage shouted. Naruto came barreling in like a bat out of hell, Alucard chuckled, before coming to a nervous standstill in front of the Hokage.

"Congratulations Naruto. Meet your new father." Sarutobi felt his heart warm just from the sight of pure unadulterated joy on the boy's face. He then laughed as Naruto tackled his new father to the ground.

"Alright class! We have a couple of new students joining us today!" Iruka told his class. He motioned with his hand and the new students came in. The females of the class were already comparing themselves to the new arrivals in the case of their eventual pursuit of their darling Sasuke-sama. The males shrugged, they weren't that interested in things like that yet. Both genders though dismissed the male of the three right out of hand.

"Why don't you three introduce yourselves?" Iruka asked in a kind tone. The eldest one wearing glasses nodded and spoke first in a well-cultured voice that matched well with her appearance.

"My name is Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing-Von Carstein." Finished, she took a step back as the short-haired blonde stepped forward.

"My name is Seras Victoria-Von Carstein, nice to meet all of you! I hope you we can be good friends!" Said the bubbly blonde. Reaching behind her she pulled Naruto forward before wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "And this is my brother Naruto! None of you better pick on him or else." Everyone in the room flinched at her cold and hard voice, and the promise of pain in her eyes. Then just as suddenly as it had appeared it vanished and a wide smile was back on her face. "If you do that then everything should be great!"

Iruka blinked. "Right then. Why don't your three go sit up there in the row behind Sasuke. Oh and Seras," He paused to make sure he had her attention." I got a note here from your father. It says you are not allowed to use your bloodline to cheat through school or else he won't let you out after dark." 'Don't know why he lets a girl that young out after dark in the first place.' Iruka thought to himself. Seras paled before nodding rapidly, before dashing over to her seat and practically cowering behind the desk.

Rolling his eyes, Iruka turned back to the blackboard. "Now then, today class we will be covering the Founding of the village..."

Maelstorm of Blood

Eight Years Later.

Iruka shook his head. Today was the genin exams and yet again he had students missing. Sighing loudly he considered the suspects. Generally exemplar students, though with a penchance for causing uneccessary amounts of damage while sparring, the Von Carsteins had skipped out before, usually though they had given him advance notice.

He had rounded up the rest of the students and set them hunting for the three missing students. Having seen them enter the school grounds he knew they were somewhere in the academy and that it was only a matter of time until they were found. Stalking his way down the hallway, heard some strange sounds coming from the janitor's closet.

On the outside Iruka kept up a stern visage as he neared the door, though inwardly he was sweating bullets. Ever since Naruto had developed the family bloodline about five years ago, his pranks had become a lot more, dark, in nature. Several of his tormentors from when he was little had gotten seriously injured and only the fact that no-one could prove it was him for sure kept him from getting in major trouble.

Reaching forward slowly with a shaking hand he drew the door slowly open, the few students he had brought with him holding their breaths. Deciding to get it over with quickly, Iruka practically slammed the door open. Opening his eyes his jaw dropped. He blinked, hard. The students blinked, Hinata fainted. Iruka closed his eyes and took a deep breath, hoping beyond all hope that when he opened them he would not see what he had seen. Of course that idea went straight out the window when the occupants of the closet screamed out.

"Oooh Naru-kun! You're so wonderful!"

"Se-chan, I-I love you!" Naruto yelled out as half the students passed out from bloodloss. "You too Te-chan, you're so beautiful!" And there went the other half. Iruka lasted a moment longer, just long enough to burn the image of the three siblings into his mind forever, before he was blown backwards via blood fountain.

Same time in the Hokage's Office.

The female jounin that had been gathered to see their new prospective students were currently beating the crap out of anything male. The Hokage had passed out immediately after Iruka had opened the door, sparing him from the worst of the pain his fellows recieved, not to say he didn't get anything. Anko had discreetely sent a small viper up his robes to inject him with a slow acting nerve toxin that would leave him in incredible amounts of pain every time he got 'excited'. After that Anko turned back to the crystal ball and made a quiet and thankfully unheard remark.

"Hmm, nice technique he's got."

Back at the Academy.

Iruka stood in front of the blackboard, his dissaproving glare somewhat rendered ineffective due to the tissue stuffed up his nose. Before him were the three students, thankfully fully dressed. Naruto and Seras were blushing like mad and doing their best imitations of a turtle as they shrunk down as much as possible, while Integra merely readjusted her glasses and stared cooly back at Iruka.

Sighing he started to rub the bridge of his nose as he felt a migraine beginning to form. "Okay, if we can get this over with so that I can be free of you three, lets begin the exam. I need a succesful Kawarimi, Henge, and at least three Bunshins from each of you. Go." There was a sequence of puffs of smoke as each of them replaced theirselves with a chair from a different row, another puff and they were back to where they started.

Another set of smoke bursts and they did their Henges. Naruto had turned into a tall and intimidating man dressed in a large overcoat with a high-collar and a military style cap. Iruka tried his best to avoid looking into his piercing yellow eyes. He blinked at Seras' new appearance, she had turned herself into a preteen boy with cat ears and a strange uniform. Shrugging her turned to Integra and had to supress a shiver, though he couldn't for the life of him figure out why. In Integra's place was a tall woman with pale, lightly freckled skin, and a pair of small glasses perched on the bridge of her nose. Her long blue-black hair reached down to near her knees. Dressed tight fitting military uniform of similar style to Seras' henge, she also had a pair of white gloves.

Something about her eyes though, their was a darkness there, a madness seeking the slightest weakness in its cage to get out. Shuddering, Iruka directed the three to drop their henges, giving a sigh of relief after they had done so. Nodding for them to continue he watched with interest as they formed a different type of henge than what he was expecting. Integra sliced the tip of her finger with her canine and held it out, the couple of drops of blood forming into clones of herself. Seras' left arm fountained shadows that formed themselves into their own solid copies. Similar to Seras' clones, Naruto created his out of shadows as well, the clones rising out of his shadow as well as those of his sisters..

Smiling sickly, Iruka reached down and tossed each of them a headband. "Congratulations, all three of you pass. Be here tommorow for the team introductions."

Maelstrom of Blood

The Next Day

Iruka sighed. It seemed he was doing that a lot lately. When he had entered the classroom to give out the team assignments what does he find? Is it a nice and orderly classrom with calm, attentive students? No, he finds the star of the Academy suspended from the roof via a rope made out of shadows.

Turning the best disaproving glare he could muster at the culprit, he demanded the release of the hanging student. "Alright Naruto, whatever Sasuke did he's suffered enough, let him down already so I can get this over with." Nodding Naruto dissipated the shadows. Sasuke hung in midair for a moment before he crashed to the floor. Getting up, he brushed himself off while shooting daggers at the whiskered blonde, who was whistling innocently while holding his hand on the back of his head.

Sighing again Iruka picked up his chart with team assignments and got started. He quickly called out the first five but slowed down once he reached the sixth assignment. "Team Seven, Sakura Haruno. Sasuke Uchiha." He paused for a moment as he had to cover his ears due to Sakura's shriek of joy." And... Sai. Your Jounin Leader is Kakashi Hatake. Team Eight is Kiba Inazuka, Hinata Hyuuga, and Shino Aburame. Your Jounin leader is Kurenai Yuuhi. Team Nine is still in service. Team Ten, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Chouji Akimichi." Continueing on Iruka ignored the sounds of Ino bemoaning her fate. "Teams Eleven and Twelve are also still in service. And Team Thirteen..." Iruka trailed off as the blood drained from his face.

Blinking at their teacher's strange behaviour, one of the students called out to get him back on track." Iruka-sensei! Who's Team Thirteen?" That seemed enough to shake him out of his trance as some colour made its way back into his face.

Shaking his head, Iruka called the names slowly, his voice hoarse and quiet." Team Thirteen. Integra Hellsing-Von Carstein. Seras Victoria-Von Carstein. Naruto Uzumaki-Von Carstein. Y-your Jounin leader is.*Gulp* Anko Mitarashi." Iruka's voice broke as he said the last name. Most of the students were puzzled as to his reaction, but Team Thirteen brightened up and cheered.

"Yay Auntie gets to be our new sensei!" Naruto shouted happily. Everyone there or in the Hokage's office felt a chill run down their spines. Anko gave an innocent look to those who were staring at her incredulously.

"What?"

An hour Later...

Anko, after arriving and picking up her team, had led them to her favorite place to get Dango. An old tavern that had been in Konoha for the last couple of decades, the Stickleback Bar was run by a friendly man by the name of Cass. Sitting in her usual booth she ordered a couple plates of dango before turning to her new subordinates.

"Now then, even though you guys are practically family, protocol states that I have to run through introductions between the four of us. And knowing how fond the Hokage is of Naruto he's likely watching in on us so I can't skip it." She pointed at herself, inadverdantly drawing attention to her expansive chest."Now I, am your, though not by blood, Aunt Anko. I like dango, alcohol, my small group of friends, and my psuedo-nieces and nephew. I really dislike a certain snake, as well other certain pains in my butt. My hobbies include training myself, eating dango, and teasing Ku-chan. My chakra element is Fire. Favorite nephew, go."

Naruto nodded and followed Anko's lead."My name's Naruto. I like my dad, the Old man, and my Aunt Anko. And I really *blush* like my sisters." Anko and Naruto's sisters snickered. Naruto ignored them and continued on." My dislikes are most of the villagers, and any one who harms my family. My hobbies are working with my bloodline, and coming up with ways to get back at those who made life miserable when I was element is wind."

Without missing a beat Seras picked up right after Naruto left off." I'm Seras. I like my poppa and Auntie, and I reaaaaaaly love my brother and sister. There isn't much I don't like, except those who pick on my brother. My hobbies are making up pranks, and practicing with my Harkonnen. My Chakra Element is also Fire yay!" Anko raised an eyebrow at the unfamiliar name.

Integra readjusted ,her glasses with one hand before pulling out a small tin labeled 'Hendi Winzermans fine small cigars'. Removing a cigar, and replacing the tin, she set the cigar in the corner of her mouth, not lighting it as the proprietor of the bar didn't like smoke filling the establishement. "My name is Integra. Like my brother and sister, I care greatly for my family. I also quite like cigars as my family's bloodline is able to heal the damage they cause without much of a problem. I dislike those who stand in my or my family's way. My hobbies are fencing and markmanship. My Chakra element is Lightning."

Anko clapped her hands and set them down on the table." Wonderful, now we know each other even better than we would have if we weren't so close. Normally we would have new genin do a test to judge how well they work as a team, but considering how 'close' you three are, that seems a waste of time. So starting tomorrow we get to start taking missions." Anko stopped talking to pick up a stick of dango off the plate that had just arrived, taking off a chunk and swallowing it before she continued." And I think that's just about it. Oh how's your pops doing by the way?"

The three siblings shrugged. "Pretty well, he just got back from a mission to Kiri, so he's doing all right. Oh and he brought each of us a cool souvenir too!" Seras said happily. Anko was curious as to what kind of souvenirs someone would bring back from Kiri.

"So what did you get?" She asked. Seras leaned in conspirationally.

"Well you know how our bloodline leaves us with a dependency on a certain fluid? The flipside of that is that our bloodline allows us to absorb another persons abilities and turn them into things similar to the human puppets of Suna. So poppa got each of us our own unique bloodline user from Kiri! Mine was soooo good, spicy food is the best!" At Anko's confused look Integra leaned in and clarified.

"She was given a Lava Release bloodline user. Father gave me a Dark Release user and Naruto received a Steel Release user." Anko nodded and sat back in her seat.

"Well, that isn't at all disturbing. Anyway lets eat!"

The Chunin Exams First Round.

Naruto and his sisters, ignoring the other Konoha genin, quickly found their seats. After that they watched with interest as a team from another village went and attacked a kid with glasses who was showing of some kind of cards. After the glasses wearing guy dropped there was a large puff of smoke and a group of intimidating ninja appeared. And standing in front of them was...

"Unle Ibiki!" Closing his mouth as he was interrupted before he could berate the genin from Sound, Ibiki ignored some muffled snickers from within the group behind him. Instead he narrowed his eyes and searched through the crowd of genin for who had called out his name. Finding the culprit a genuine and large smile appeared on his face, frightening the other Konoha ninjas, after all the only times he dispayed such emotion was when he had a new torture method he wanted to try out.

Slowly, he raised his arm. Some of the ninja behind him started shaking. The Hand reached into the air. One of the ninja fainted. And then... he waved at a group of Konoha genin. "Ah Naruto! So you and your sisters made it, congratulations!" He shouted out. Jaws dropped and more than a couple softly muttered 'Kai's" were heard from the group of Konoha ninjas.

Then he put on a stern look as he stared at the rest of the gathered genin teams." Alright now you maggots! You will sit down! You will shut up! And you will complete the written exam in front of you! If you are caught cheating five times, you and your team are done! And if you ask any questions you are done! There will also be one last question for you that will be asked after a certain period of time has passed! Now any questions?" Ibiki shouted out in a drill sergeant like voice.

A rain genin raised his hand. Iruka pointed to him and shouted. "Team 177 from Rain, you're out! Now begin!" Each of the genin started on the tests immediately, some already pulling out their tricks in order to get ahead. After five minutes, several teams had already been eliminated. Noticing movement out of the corner of his eye he watched with interest as Naruto stood up and started walking down the rows until he stood in front of Ibiki. Everything was quiet as everyone was watching the genin's actions. On of the Chunin motioned to Ibiki to ask for permission to stop Naruto, but Ibiki shook his head, he wanted to see what the kid did. Standing in front of each other they both engaged in a staring match.

"Hey Uncle, you mind giving me the answer key?" Naruto asked. All those watching dropped their jaws at the absolute balls of steel the kid was just laughed out loud as he reached into his coat and pulled out a small envelope. Handing it Naruto he patted him on the back and whispered in his ear before letting go back to his seat.

"Good luck kid. The I&T Division is rooting for you and your sisters, so don't dissapoint us." Naruto nodded, and gave Ibiki a sly smile before making his way back to his seat.

Third Round of the Chunin Exams.

"Now then! The first match of the Third Round of the Chunin Exams, between Neji Hyuuga and Naruto Uzumaki-Carstein, shall begin! Anything outside of permanently crippling blows or killing is allowed." The senbon chewing Jounin said as he looked between the two competitors. "Ready, begin!" He shouted as he leaped away.

Instead of launching attacks at each other immediately the two stayed where they were. Naruto held back to study Neji, hoping to learn something more about his abilities, outside of what he showed when when fighting Hinata. Neji on the other hand, had launched into some rant about Fate and Destiny and such. Naruto had learned early on to block out an opponents speech, as one of Anko's favorite methods of training involved teasing until you moved and then getting hit by senbon or bit by a snake.

Realizing Neji wouldn't do anything until responded in some way, Naruto decided to do as his father would. Neji meanwhile was getting frustrated as his oppenent simply kept up his infuriating smirk no matter what was said. Finally having had enough, he dashed forwards and started launching blows at Naruto.

Naruto simply flowed around each strike, letting them past by the barest of inches as he looked for an opening. On the next strike from Neji he found it. Neji was aiming a blow to Naruto's shoulder, when Naruto flowed under it and into Neji's guard. Putting his back against Neji's chest he grabbed his outstretched arm and threw him to the ground. Hard. Naruto hopped back as the entire stadium went dead quiet. Not only had the star of the Hyuuga clan been unable to land a single hit, he had been knocked to the ground with a simple toss.

Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand as he stood up, Neji glared at Naruto. Never had he been so humiliated in hsi lfe, and his opponent was still simply smirking at him! Neji was breathing hard and sweat was dripping down his forehead, while Naruto simply stood there. Deciding to go all or nothing he had his own smirk as he unleashed his secret weapon.

"Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!" He shouted, stunning the Hyuuga in the audience. "Two Palms!" A bemused Naruto let the first strikes hit him, thinking they wouldn't do too much damage and that it would serve to irritate Neji more. Insted his eyes widened as his legs suddenly refused to the rest of the attack hit. Neji smirked down at the fallen figure of Naruto. Turning his back he started to walk back to the stands as he called out to the proctor."It is done. With that I have hit 64 Tenketsu points on his body, now he is both unable to move or use chakra. Call the match." The proctor shook his head and pointed behind Neji. Turning incredulously he watched as Naruto stood up as if nothing had happened.

Spitting out blood Naruto smirked at Neji. Baring his teeth in a cruel smile he spoke quietly."My turn. Bloodline Release: Armor of Darkness." The shadows around the stadium flowed towards Naruto, covering him a swirling mass of shadows. The mass faded away to reveal Naruto standing there covered in samurai armour made out of shadows, while nine tails swayed behind him. The eyes in the fox-shaped helmet twinkled at the look of awe and terror in the audiences' faces. Up in the Kage box, Sarutobi nearly dropped his pipe, he knew of the soul absorbing nature of the Von Carstein bloodline, but never figured that it would allow Naruto to absorb the Kyuubi itself. Picking up the pipe, a smile stole its way across his face, maybe things were looking up after all.

Back in the Arena Neji had taken a step back in fear. His Byakugan had revealed that the armor and tails were made of solid chakra, rendering his attacks useless. He was still panickedly trying to figure out a way to attack Naruto when a tail of chakra slammed him into a wall and unconciousness.

Genma appeared next to the fallen Hyuuga and checked him over before turning to the audience. "Winner by knockout: Naruto!" The stadium erupted in cheers.

Maelstorm of Blood.

"Mother demands your blood!" Gaara shrieked as he attacked Sasuke with his partially transformed arm. Catching him with a glancing blow, Sasuke was sent spinning to the ground. Gaara made a move to pursue, but stopped and clutched at his head as his sand flowed up and surrounded him. In his struggle to contain the beast withing he slipped off his position on a tree branch and fell to the ground. His head hitting first, sending him into unconcioussness, and releasing Shukaku.

Letting out a tremendous roar the beast began to aproach the village. Getting closer it felt a distrubance and turned to see three immense beasts made out of shadows. To the left was a giant Lion, and to the right was a gargantuan Eagle. But in between them was a massive nine-tailed fox. Seeing what could only be his most hated enemy, Shukaku let out another roar and moved to engage them, his steps causing the ground to tremble. With a blast of condensed air, the battle was joined...

Maelstorm of Blood

Back at Mimir's Well.

Toltiir cut off the feed to the timeline and turned to the gathered beings. "Well what did you think? He didn't turn out too bad all things considered. He gets everything he could ask for. A father, two loving, oh so very loving, sisters a powerful bloodline that eliminates the Kyuubi, and a sensei that makes him into a very powerful ninja. A perfect alteration, no doubt about it." Many of the others nodded. It did seem to have done the boy a whole world of good.

Toltiir stepped down from his spot and considered the gathering. "Now then, who's next?" The Cat god of Chaos and Trickery stood next to Loki as they watched with joy as the gathering turned into a mass of chaotic arguements. At least until he heard, THAT.

"Heeey, cool! A wishing pool! Ooh now where's that penny gone?" Toltiir turned, his eye twitching, to find a young girl with long blond hair and tanned skin searching her various pockets." Ah, now I know why Washu-chan says to always carry a wallet. Here we go!" Pulling a penny out wallet that came from a place where shouldn't have been able to fit, she tossed it in. She closed her eyes tightly as she started to make her wish. "I wish..."

She was interrupted as an angry voice shouted out from behind her. "Miiii. Hooooo. SHIIIIIIII!" All the gathered gods stopped their arguements to watch with amusement as Toltiir chased a blonde haired girl around the well. So caught up in watching they never noticed the water's of the Well glowing brightly for a moment, before displaying the image of a woman with green-tinted black hair fighting a much younger girl with red hair, before that image too, was chased away.
