Here is the last chapter folks! Hope you like it! Review if you like it :)

Lovino's childhood home was a happy and well lived in place over the next couple months. The three couple inhabiting Lovino's mother's house had made the previously isolated and abandoned place a true home.

Antonio's recovery was slow and painful. As someone used to being in peak physical condition he struggled to adjust to his body post-comma. His limbs had become emaciated and his chest which had been riddled with bullets pained him when he tried to take deep breaths. Had it not been for the support of Lovino and his friends Antonio felt sure his health would have failed and he would have been in a very different state than the one he was currently in.

After about 5 months Antonio was doing well enough that Matthew, Gilbert, Arthur and Francis decided it was well past due that they leave the island home and return to their lives, but not before throwing a big going away party. Francis had spent the day cooking with Arthur's help while Matthew and Gilbert set up a table and chairs in the small garden they had tended to over the past months.

"Voila, tout est pret !" Francis announced as he placed the finishing touches on a beautiful desert. Arthur looked nodding in appreciation before very sneakily swiping a finger across the glazed fruit that adorned the top of the cake.

Francis slapped his hand away just a little too late. Arthur gave a laugh before backing away from a pissed off Francis.

"Instead of ruining my dessert, why don't you go tell Antonio and Lovino that ze food is done." Francis ordered with a wave of his hand.

Arthur rolled his impossibly green eyes but did as he was told, climbing up the stairs that led to the room the couple shared.

He climbed the ladder to the trap door, knocking on the floor and waiting for an answer. After a minute with still no reply, he knocked again and fed up of standing on the latter, let himself into the room.

He found Antonio and Lovino both fast asleep, Antonio with his arms wrapped around Lovino's lithe frame. He smiled to himself, went down the ladder and closed the door quietly.

"Well, are they coming ?" Francis asked upon finding Arthur alone at the bottom of the staircase.

"They are asleep."

"Ah, je vois." Francis nodded his head.

"We might as well get started without them, I think it might be awhile before they wake."

"Alright then." Francis grabbed Arthur by the hand, leading him outside to where the table and chairs had been elegantly dressed with a colourful tablecloth and cushions.

"Where are the two lovebirds ?" Matthew asked seeing Francis and Arthur sans the other couple.

"Sleeping." Arthur announced for the second time.

"Oh well. More for us then !" Gilbert exclaimed from his seat at the table, his eyes hungrily looking at the veritable feast Francis had prepared for them.

"Indeed ! Cheers !" Arthur exclaimed, kicking off the festivities.

Lovino opened his eyes in the darkening room to the sound of laughter coming from somewhere outside and the nearly silent breathing of Antonio ho had him pressed to his chest.

Lovino gave a small smile. Finally, he felt as blissful as a child without a care in the world. But this vanished quickly as he thought of his brother whom he hadn't seen in too long. As Lovino lay in a veritable paradise he started to miss the bustle of the city, his brother's endearing (though thoroughly annoying) voice, his tiny apartment of which he knew every nook and cranny, but at the same time he felt that if he left his island all the happiness he had would vanish. There was no logic behind it; Han Fei Zi and his organization had been dismantled, his father was gone, Antonio was healed, and yet Lovino scared none the less.

"What are you thinking about ?" Antonio's melodious voice asked quietly.

Lovino turned to face his lover and smiled.

"I didn't realize you were awake."

"For a few minutes. They are awfully loud down there." Antonio chuckled, the sound tingling Lovino's ears pleasantly.

"I was just thinking about Feliciano and home, and everything else really," Lovino answered.

"You miss him." Antonio said, and it was not a question.

"Yes. I do. But here it's..." Lovino trailed off.

"I know. It's perfect."

It was perfect, like a soap bubble floating on a breeze on a hot summer day. But that bubble had to pop eventually.

"Let's go see our friends love." Antonio said as he released Lovino from his arms.

The couple made their way outside slowly where they were greeted with laughter and cheers.

After that they ate and drank the night away, staying awake till their friends were waving goodbye, eventually disappearing behind a hill of trees and greenery.

Antonio and Lovino retired inside to sleep once more.

When Lovino awoke he was alone, and for a few seconds, his eyes frantically searched the room for Antonio before they settled on a sheet of paper on the pillow next to him.

I'm outside my love. Come find me when you wake.

Lovino made his way outside finding Antonio perched at the edge of a chair that faced the island cliffs.

"Hey." he said as he approached.

Antonio stretched out his arms inviting Lovino into them. After a few minutes of companionable silence, Antonio reached into his back pocket and pulled out two tickets. Lovino looked at them with a stunned expression.

"You do want to go home right ?" Antonio asked.

Lovino thumbed over the plane tickets as if they were not quite real.

"Yes. I do." he said glancing back at the house.

"We can always come back here any time,

you know that right." Antonio said, caressing Lovino's thigh.

Lovino nodded. This place would always be in his heart. It was the place he had fallen in love.

A week later Lovino and Antonio left La Isola del Giglio and returned to their lives in the city. Lovino and Feliciano's reunion had been tearful but happy and after a while, things settled down and life for Antonio and Lovino became what most would call normal.

After a year Lovino and Feliciano went to visit their mother's grave.

"I wish I remembered her more," Feliciano said softly as he touched the weathered headstone.

"I know." Lovino smiled sadly. "But there is a place where her memory truly lives..."

Feliciano gave a knowing smile.

"Let's go there soon then."

"Yes." Lovino said as they departed from the grave of their beloved mother.

Little feet pattered across the old creaky floor, followed by exclamations of wonderment.

"Wow, this room is all mirrors! Daddy, Papa, come see! I'm everywhere !"

A little girl in a yellow sundress twirled around the mirrored room watching her bright dimpled smile and brown pigtails reflect in the room around her.

Lovino and Antonio appeared at the door, Antonio holding in his arms a very tired little toddler.

"Anita, not so loud, you'll wake up your brother." Lovino chided affectionately.

The five-year-old held up her index to her lips in a"shh" motion before running to her Papa. Lovino scooped her into his arms and the happy little family climbed the stairs till they reached the trap door.

"Is this our room ?" Anita asked in wonderment as she climbed the ladder.

"Yes, this is our room. And before that is was your grandmother's room." Lovino told his daughter.

While Anita looked around the room, Antonio deposited the sleeping toddler on the bed softly, caressing the black locks adorning his head.

Lovino joined his husband on the bed where they shared a chaste kiss, soon followed by Anita who curled up next to her baby brother. At that moment, in the house he loved, with the love of his life and their children, Lovino was in paradise.
