Knight-Captain Leaf woke up bright and early the next day. He gave a loud yawn and then started to stretch. He looked at his side and saw Cat-Sun still wrapped in a ball in her poorly made bed.

I guess I'll work on that today. Leaf thought in his head. He got up and did his regular routine. He sat at his desk and grabbed a sewing kit and large pieces of fabric before he then began sewing the fabric together.

By the time the little kitty had woken up, Leaf had almost finished the new bed. Sun rubbed her tired eyes with her fluffy paws and walked toward the table Leaf was seated at. She jumped up and landed on the table to watch what Leaf was doing.

"Meow." Sun said. Leaf momentarily looked up from his work and smiled and the small feline.

"Good morning Sun. Did you have a good sleep?" He said. The asked animal nodded her small head cutely, and leaned on her stomach as she watched Leaf continue his magic. She continued to observe as Leaf skillfully sewed the item together.

"Sun, could you pass me those pins over there?" Leaf asked, pointing at the box of colored pins beside the golden fur-ball. She moved her body so she could face the box and opened it. She attempted to grab a few but they continuously slipped out of her grasp. She slowly grew agitated and impatient. She grabbed three colored pins in her paws and slowly pulled them out, but before she could take them away from the box, they slipped. Without thinking Cat-Sun immediately bit the head of the sharp needles with her mouth and slowly inched her head towards Leaf, who had a small smile on his lips and opened his palm out for the requested items. She plopped them into his hand and let out a sigh of relief. Leaf laughed a bit (even kind Leaf couldn't help but laugh, it was that adorable) before proceeding back to work. Sun went back to her previous position and continued to watch as the archer worked. She rolled to her side before going on her other side and then on her back and so on. Soon enough because of all the boredom she fell asleep for a small nap.

Sun had woken up to notice that she was no longer on the desk, and discovered that she was on a new piece of colored fabric. She jumped off of it and discovered that it was the bed that Leaf had spent half the day making. She had to admit it was amazing, the bed was a simply white color with golden lining, similar to his Sun Knight uniform. It had a circle around the base except for a small entrance for her to exit and enter through. A mini pillow was also sewn to the base and a blanket sewn to the edge of the outer ring and in total it was very comfortable and nice to sleep on. Leaf had done a very nice job. Now that she thought about it, where's Leaf? She scanned the room with her adorable blue eyes in search of the kind archer. When she saw no sign of him, she cocked her head to the side and walked around the room in search of him. But there was still no sign of him. The feline gave out a sigh and looked for something that could entertain her; she looked out and noticed the window in the room. The sun was setting. She jumped up onto the windows ledge and watched as the sun slowly sunk below the horizon and as the sun disappeared and the stars came out, she turned around and got a good view of the room. She spotted a small bowl of food. She quickly jumped off and headed there. She noticed a white note there.

Sun. I had to head out for a while, so I won't be back anytime soon. So here's some food since I know you hadn't ate yet. Don't wait!

Oh. Wow, how did I manage to miss that? Sun thought as she read the note. She turned her small head to the bowl of milk and fruits and cookies. She soon began to gobble them up without a care, and soon enough it was all gone and in the small kitten's stomach. She wiped her mouth with the side of her paw. She once again head back to the hand-made bed and lied on her side, her eyes closing tiredly.

5 more days, huh? I hope they find a cure soon…

With that last thought she had fallen back to sleep once again.
