Caroline looked down to her stomach and then back to the smirking Original.
"How is this possible?" Caroline asked Rebekah and the two girls heard Finn ask the same thing and it caused Caroline to listen.
"Well I allowed it to happen" Tessa started.
"Why?!" Klaus was pissed off now.
"Because Caroline was going to give up on everything and I didn't want her to feel like she was alone. So I spelled her from the other side so that the next person she had sex with she would end up pregnant by them. Vampire or not, but I didn't think it worked until now" Tessa confessed what she did and no one realized Kol was awake and sitting down.
"Why would you do that to her?" Kol asked still stunned. Everyone turned to him. "I don't like her like that and I sure as hell know she doesn't like me like that either."
"I was hoping she slept with Klaus but when she slept with you the spell went into action and you're the father of this child Kol" Tessa said. Kol put his head in his hands and began pulling at his hair.
"So what happens if she doesn't wake up?" Elijah asked. "What happens to the child?"
"They both die" Tessa answered. Elena ran to Caroline and began shaking her shoulders.
"Wake up Caroline!" Elena kept shouting over and over again but nothing happened. "Why won't she wake up?"
"Right now she is in limbo, it's up to her now whether she lives or dies" Tessa said to them.
Caroline watched and had a few tears in her eyes but she still wanted to die. Even though now she knew she was pregnant she still felt like she had nothing left. Her mother was dead along with her father and now she was pregnant by an Original and not the Original she was in love with. But the brother to the one that stole her heart. Oh why did she have to be so dumb and stupid when she had her humanity off? Now she was paying the price for it all.
"Do you still want to die?"
"Yes."
"But why?! That's my flesh and blood you're carrying! Why do that to you and Kol?!"
"Because I have nothing when I go back. Yes I'll have this baby but I won't have my parents being there for emotional support!" Caroline shouted to Rebekah.
"You're being selfish!"
"Just show me the future so I can die" Caroline refused to look at Rebekah.
"As you wish" Rebekah spat and the scenery changed and Caroline saw a little boy around the age of five who looked a hell of a lot like Kol but with her eyes. "This is yours and Kol's child."
"He looks like Kol" Caroline had some tears in her eyes. Then she looked to see herself and Kol watching him with smiles on their faces.
"Mommy! Daddy! Come play with me" the little boy giggled. And Caroline watched as Kol went right over and began playing with him and her future self made her way over.
"Aren't you adorable Henrik William Mikaelson" Kol said as he picked up his son with a huge grin on his face.
"I know" the little boy giggled. Caroline giggled too and limbo Caroline realized that the little boy had her giggle.
"You're going to turn out just like your father" future Caroline shook her head. At the moment Klaus came out and ruffled the little boy's hair.
"Uncle Nik!" The little boy said as he fixed his hair.
"Yup, just like your father" Klaus laughed before kissing future Caroline and she kissed him back happily.
"Ew! Mommy and Uncle Nik are kissing again" Henrik said to his daddy.
"That's what happens when you're married. You know how daddy kisses Aunt Elena?" The little boy nodded his head. "That is because daddy is married to Aunt Elena and I love her very much. That's why you will have a little brother or sister soon" Kol explained to his son.
Caroline was stunned and looked to Rebekah who nodded her head because she shared Caroline's shock.
"Yup, you married Klaus and Kol married Elena who is expecting their first child together but Kol's second child. Kol and your future self get along perfectly and Nik accepts that you have a child with Kol and hopes one day you two can have a child together. Caroline this is what your future could be if you decide to go back to the land of the living" Rebekah explained.
"This is all too much" Caroline said as she sat down in the grass. She watched as her son ran back into the house with the three adults following him. Rebekah sat next to her.
"I know it's a lot, but this is what your future could be Caroline. Allow your son to live and enjoy life with him every second you can" Rebekah tried to save her future nephew.
"How could I have forgiven Klaus so easily?"
"Because no matter how badly he betrayed you, your love for him is stronger then anything and that's why he learns to accept that you will be pregnant by Kol, because he loves you that much and would do anything for you" Rebekah said to Caroline.
"What if I suck at being a mom?" Caroline asked with tears falling down her face now.
"You won't suck at being a mother Caroline. You're Caroline Forbes and you will get through this, just have faith" Rebekah reassured her. And at the moment Caroline was back in the room with her body but this time she was alone and saw Kol beside her carrassing her stomach. It was only them in the room.
"Please wake up. I know that I don't have feelings for you but what happened happened and now I want to step up and be a father to this child. But I need you to wake up and trust me when I say I will do everything in my power to protect the two of you" Kol confessed the truth.
"As will I" Klaus said from the door. Kol looked to his older brother and watched as he sat down on the other side of Caroline. Klaus grabbed Caroline's hand and kissed it. "I forgive you for sleeping with my brother and I hope you can forgive me too. Just know that I love you Caroline and I will love my niece or nephew as well" Klaus confessed and Kol was shocked but was glad his brother wasn't mad at him. Caroline sobbed silently and felt something inside of her burst and she put her hand on her stomach and looked at the father of her child and the love of her life. She closed her eyes and let herself be swallowed in the darkness.
