Frodo had been unconscious for three days, the ring having taken a heavy toll on his body.

They each took watch over him,

It was…

"Gandalf?"

Looks like Frodo has woken up.

Pippin and Merry rush over and open the door and pause before running in and jumping on the bed.

Gandalf laughs as he watches them.

Gimli is quick to follow and joins the Hobbits on the bed.

Legolas escorts Kagome into the room, both dressed as they had been in Lothlorien.

Aragorn follows them in.

Sam is the last to enter.

The Fellowship has been reunited.

~* Three Months Later *~

Since the end of the war, much had been done.

Legolas had taken Kagome to meet his family.

The Rohirrim returned to Rohan to begin rebuilding and to bury their king, and the citizens of Gondor had rebuilt the damaged parts of their city.

Today though, everyone had returned to Minas Tirith and were gathered in the stone courtyard.

It was time to crown their king.

Gimli stood beside Gandalf, holding the crown of the king.

Aragorn was kneeled before the White Wizard.

Placing the crown on his head, he addresses those gathered.

"Now comes the days of the king."

He smiles down at the new king.

"May they be blessed."

With a deep breath, the King of Gondor faces his people for the first time.

The crowd cheers.

Aragorn's voice silences the crowd.

"This day does not belong to one man, but to all. Let us together rebuild this world, that we may share in the days of peace.

He makes his way down the steps to walk amongst his people.

Éowyn stands beside Faramir as he passes, Éomer across from them.

Legolas and a very pregnant Kagome lead the elves of Mirkwood in greeting the new King of Men.

He raises an eyebrow at the she-Elf before addressing Legolas.

The Elf Prince tilts his head to the side with a smile, Aragorn looks in curiosity.

A white banner of Gondor moves to the side, revealing Arwen and her father.

Staring into each other's eyes, they slowly approach.

In a manner most unbecoming of a king, Aragorn embraces Arwen and attacks her mouth.

Taking her hand, he leads her as he continues to walk.

They soon stop in front of four little Hobbits.

They bow to the king.

He stops them.

"My friends, you bow to no one."

He kneels before them.

All in the courtyard soon follow, much to the amazement of the Hobbits.

Except for one.

Legolas looks up at the still standing Kagome with a raised brow.

"What?" she demands quietly. "You try getting up and down while carrying twins!"

She places a hand to her back.

"It hurts enough as it is."

Gimli was close enough to hear their conversation.

His indignant voiced carries across the silent courtyard.

"What the hell do you mean 'twins'?!"

The entire courtyard laughs.
