Hello!

Colouring, colouring, colouring! It takes so long~ But I honestly think you guys will like it.

And you guys really like Vlad when he turns his fangs on someone else that's actually makes the action sensible. Huh.

Thank you for your clocks!

Danny was running down the street clothes ruined, dried tear stains at the sides of his face with dirt smudges along with them. Physically, he was fine but his outer appearance says that he had been beaten up and trying to survive the wild for days now, which was too far from the truth since he was playing manhunt with the GIW patrols.

I can't believe I had to ruin my clothes again, and on purpose too! Fenton thought in irration.

Yeah yeah, Phantom thought back nonchalantly, the duplicate is coming at your right.

I know!

He turned a corner passing by a GIW patrol and bellowed out to them. "Help!"

An ecto-blast missed his heel that imediately snapped the patrol out of a daze and started running after them.

"What's going on?!" Agent one asked. "I thought the kid was the ghost!"

Agent two prepared his jetpack and ghost weapon. "Well it seems like Mrs. Fenton was right then. I knew it was stupid to believe Agent E, the man is way in over his head and a bit of a glory hound to me." The third agent grunted in agreement.

Really it was only petty jealousy talking.

Danny ran through an alley way knocking down trash along the way and popping into another street. The streets were surprisingly free of normal civilians, but kind of understandable since the GIW were out patroling about more often than they liked and the civilians are more bitter about them since they don't pay for the damages they make.

Oh well, it's not like it's hurting Danny, in fact, the less people that see the better. And the commotion and ecto-blast even discourages the Amity Park citizens to go outside. They've already learned it's better to stay out of the craziness that goes outside long ago and let whoever is willing to deal with it to deal with it and let nomalcy return on its own.

The youngest Fenton continued to run and eventually 'loose' his pursuers. He swiped some sweat from his face and leaned on a wall and thought back to a few hours ago.

Not the next day, but a few hours ago.

~Flash Back~

Jazz looked at him hard with deep breaths going through her nose. "I really mean it Danny, because once you're in the Ghost Zone, I don't want you to come back when everything collaspes."

Danny's eyes widened. "What?! Why?" Danny shouted at her along with his two friends.

His sister gripped his shoulders with both hands. "Danny, think about it. It's not because I don't want you here, but because I want you safe." She looked deeper into his eyes. "If you come back here, all you'll be doing is just running for the rest of your life."

"So you want me to runaway into the Ghost Zone?!" Danny shouted back. "I'm not trying to runaway in the first place, just trying to get this thing," he pointed at the gauntlet, "away from here and never to be found!"

"But you don't have anything left here anymore!" Jazz shouted back. "Sam, Tucker, and I can handle ourselves since we're technically not directly involved and considered mislead victims, plus he fact that you and Phantom are the same person hadn't made public because of how ridiculous it will sound to the masses."

"See I can-"

Jazz shushed him quickly with a finger. "But in the official report, Danny Fenton is kidnapped by possession and was warn to stay away from you. They didn't say it was specifically Phantom because of Vlad for some reason, but with the GIW agents running their mouths, it won't be that hard to figure out."

"But I can fly to some other place!" Danny said desperately. He never thought much of his situation and now that he realized how bad it is and how worse it can become, his core felt like it was being squeezed in his panic.

"And the GIW, mom, and every other ghost hunter will be after you until you give up, escape to the ghost or, die." Jazz let out tiredly. "Danny, the only other person that went to the Ghost Zone was Valerie and that was because of Skulker's stupid plan. The GIW won't go in there and mom and dad won't either because they want to destroy it. They dedicate their whole lives to eradicate ghosts completely no matter what the consequences whether they know it or not.

"You have more friends in the Ghost Zone that can actually help more than we can. We can only help you escape and that's it."

"But what about the Reality Gauntlet!" Sam butted in surprising everyone. "We can alter-"

"No! Danny already went through it once and it just happened again and that's just another way to runaway!" Her gripped became harder. "Danny, you protected me for too long now, gave up so much to protect us," Jazz gave a breathy sigh. "I want you to be happy and you can't be happy here, not anymore."

Danny's shoulders sagged in resignation under her hands. It was very solemn coming from Jazz since she always gave an honest explaination or answer.

"Okay."

It's not like he wanted too, it's just Jazz had a point. He won't be much than a teenage boy on the run and how can he help anyone when nobody will help him?

Sam's eyes widened and then shut tight at his answer. What had happened? And why now? About a year ago, she knew that she would be all for it; let Danny go so he can stay safe. But, she want to be a little selfish and have Danny close to her as much as possible.

If he leaves, she'll have so many regrets behind her. She had become softer and more emotional much to her disgust and she wanted to say so many things to him, and now she's on a very small time limit, but she doesn't know if she'll have the courage to tell him anyways.

Tucker got up and gave his friend a hug. "Dude, I know you already said yes, but don't back out and just go. Jazz is right, the living world don't have much to offer you anymore. I mean, you went to space when you were fourteen! Even if it's not official, it sure does make a story."

"Thanks."

"Don't thank me yet. Now how long and how many duplicates can you do? It's been a while since we last tested."

~Flash Back End~

He had told them that he want to do it now since all three of them were probably missed by now and it would be very unexpected. There also the fact that he's strong enough to keep a single duplicate from dissipating from getting hit by a moderate blast by an ecto-gun.

He could only make two solid duplicates since he practices them nearly on a daily basis for homework, school, and curfew but anymore would make the duplicates crumble like a cookie.

Then there was his parents. He spoke with Jazz about them in private and he can say that he was willing to cut everything from them. They weren't the best parents seeing as he and Jazz had to mature and take care of themselves earlier on and there's also the fact that he was distancing himself from them for a while now helps too. But it didn't mean he didn't loved them.

But what was he thinking?! He could've at least grab a bite to eat!

You wanted to get it over with before you broke down into tears.

Thanks for nothing Fenton snapped back You're so lucky you can't come out or you'll be the one doing the footwork!

Just keep on running, the house is just a few blocks away and Jazz and the others probably got your mom out by now, Phantom said, and with the GIW involved, it won't be long until mama bear hears this.

And there was a meeting he wanted to avoid for a long time.

He listened to the commotion out in the streets with the GIW scrambling for their communicators for back up and nodded to himself as the plan was going well so far.

He was about to run out again when a rustle of thick cloth behind him. In quick motion, he cursed himself when he saw Robin and started to back up when a shadow loomed over him. He cursed himself even harder knowing who was behind him.

Well, looks like we know what we forgot now.

It was so sudden when Raven saw Phantom chase the youngest Fenton, but his cry for help made her give her own chase. The dark titan was surprised when he was out running everyone despite his poor atheletic grade and was even more so when he disappeared at the turn of a corner. It wasn't hard to track him because of his unique aruas, but to vanish from sight the moment she called Robin was impressive.

"What's going on?" Robin demanded. "And why are there two of you?"

Duplicate coming up from straight up.

Fenton felt relieved for the first time hearing the debris get destroyed from the ecto-blast and continued to run passing a suprised Raven.

There was a crowd building behind him and he could see the Fenton Works sign tower over the smaller buildings surrounding it.

He really hoped that they make it because it's going to be a relly big fight when they don't.

Maddie worked with bags under her eyes that were even noticeable under her googles. She glanced at her clock frowning, it was nearing 4 o'clock and Jazz hadn't check on her yet like she usually would.

It was light in the lab mostly because the ghost portal was currently open and dust settled every where but her work space.

She heard the door open and saw Agent E descend from the stairs.

"Well, Mrs. Fenton, I must say that your resilience is astounding along with the right friends to back you up."

Maddie scoffed. "You went to Vlad this time? I could've told you that would've been a failure. I may not like the man, but I do know he has priorities to keep and as mayor, he's done a splendid job at it too. If he gave into the government, that'd be a scandal in itself since he is a successful businessman and politician."

"But even the most successful makes mistakes, after all, it's only human." The agent egged.

Maddie clenched her fists. "You're a fool if you believe that scum. I may not like Vlad, but I'm not going to be fooled into believing in that load of shit." She spat out. "He fooled me long enough and my little boy lost two years of his life because of it, but I won't fall for the same song and show just because he claims to be 'half-ghost'.

"It's scientifically impossible, Anything that's alive can only be alive and once it dies, that's it. There is a time frame where that person can be revived, but there will never be an inbetween." She ended with angry breaths.

"You need to have an open mind Mrs. Fenton, scientists found stranger things than this."

"And this is why I will always be the better scientist and ghost hunter," she said without missing a beat, "I don't dwadle in a fantasy to play around in, and the reason why those 'strange' things are strange in the first place is for the reason and how they're created or survived."

The agent bristle and was about to yell at her if the door to the lab didn't slam open. Sam, Tucker, and Jazz were crowding the doorway all with a paniced look.

"Mom!" Jazz came down running first and she looked like she was going to burst into tears.

Her motherly instincts made her reach out to comfort her. "What's wrong sweety?" She said urgently.

"It's Danny!" Jazz's tears spilt over. "You were right! ou need to save him!"

"Why what happened?"

"We were walking down the street when we saw Danny running. We tried calling out to him, but the Phantom appeared and started chasing and attacking him! You have to do something!" She hiccuped.

Both Sam and Tucker just stood at the doorway watching in awe at Jazz's teary act.

"Man," Tucker started, "if the mind doctor thing doesn't work out, acting sure as hell will." Sam nodded dumbly.

He ran down nudging Sam to follow. "He looked like he was head here but Phantom kept cutting him off! We need to get to him before Phantom gets Danny!"

"Hurry!" Sam shouted finally.

Anger bubbled within Maddie hearing this while Agent E stared in disbelief. His communicator went off and everybody in the lab heard it.

"I'm calling in back up for any available agents. Phantom is currently pursuing the youngest Fenton, Danny Fenton. We are slowly coming towards the front of Fenton Works. I repeat, back up at the front of Fenton Works within a two block radius.

Maddie was already up the stairs armed and ready with the Fenton Finder in hand. She could hear the others following behind, but she already knows that the kids will stay out of the way and out of sight when the fight ensues.

She was running down the street following the Fenton Finder's directions and looked forwards seeing the green dot just meters ahead.

Her eyes widened. "Danny!" Her son was looking behind him to scan his surroundings before facing forward at the sound of his name.

He looked horrible from his appearance but he wasn't slowing down. "Mom! Help!" He leaned forward and started to run a little faster but to Maddie's horror he couldn't out run the ecto-blast that exploded at his feet sending him flying.

She was too far and too slow to catch him. She saw him try to swing him body to his side but she knew he'll have a head injury of some kind along with a nasty road rash the way he skidded down the asphalt.

"Oh my god," Maddie turned her son's body gently and felt his whole body was limp but stirred when she laid him on his back. His blood was running at the side of his face and the bloody arm he landed on.

His blue eyes opened tiredly. They were his normal sky blue eyes much to her relief instead of the unearthly glowing ones.

"M-mom, you have to look out. He's coming."

Her eyes narrowed. "Don't worry, I'll-"

"Can we skip the sappy reunion?" A familiar echoed voice drawled.

"You." Maddie hissed out. Angry bubbled out in waves.

Phantom smiled. "Me." And gave an evil smirk. "Be glad I gave you dearest son a chance to run, after all, there's nothing better than a good hunt."

Everybody then arrived. First Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, then the whole GIW and the remaining Titans.

"Kids! Carry Danny back to the house and put up the ghost shield!" Maddie barked out. "I'll handle this pest."

They followed the instructions wordlessly and carried Danny away from danger.

While the teens went away Agent E was trying to wrap his head around the situation at hand. It didn't make sense, was Masters playing with him? Or is this all a big act? But seeing the Fenton kid beat up like that wasn't a pretty sight. So maybe the kid was actually being possessed and Masters couldn't tell he was.

He tried to remembered the injuries the kid had, but it was hard to tell with all the blood everywhere on him and on his torn clothes.

"...he is more clever than anyone would give credit for."

The agent narrowed his eyes and turned to see the ghost before him. He wasn't attacking, but his taunting was aggravating everyone here and keeping the attention towards him.

That wasn't Phantom's style, even if he doesn't have to keep human appearances anymore doesn't mean the ghost will do a whole 180 degree in tactics. He hid when he came to the living world and possessed a boy for two years and if Phantom really was a separate being from the Fenton kid and if that was his plan of action from the beginning then he would have continue to use his tricks until they were done with him.

"Huh, Masters is right." The agent headed towards Fenton Works. "Kid's more clever than I thought."
