Ok, I don't know where to start, but unfortunately this is not chapter 13. I thought that I owed you guys a reason as to why it's taking me so long to write this chapter. Ok so, the end of summer and the beginning of the school year was hectic for me, as they usually are. I couldn't find any time to write. I'm in grade ten and I've started taking advanced courses to help my grades, which just piles on more work. But work isn't the main reason I'm having trouble writing this chapter.

I had a friend since the third grade named Gillian Dale. In the summer between grade eight and grade nine, she got brain cancer. Due to this, she wasn't able to attend most of school last year. She fought hard and always tried to look on the bright side of things whenever I visited her at the hospital. Unfortunately, last week on Tuesday she lost the battle. She was on of my best friends, and I hope shes doing well in heaven.

I'm sorry if this upset any of you, but I thought you all deserved an explanation. I'm not giving up on this story, though so don't worry. It still has about two chapters and hopefully will be done by the end of November. Thank you if you read that, and I'll try to get around to writing the actual chapter as soon as I can.
