AN: I realize I haven't really written in months. I really lost inspiration for a while. But here is a one-shot I wrote 3 months ago with Tony, Pepper and Madeline. Enjoy! ~B.

"Maddy, look, come get Pooh-bear." Pepper held the stuffed animal out to the eleven-month old. Madeline turned, giving Pepper a look at reminded her so much of the look Tony gives her, that she laughed and dropped the toy. The baby turned and crawled her way over to the couch. Getting up, Pepper smiled and went over to her daughter, pulling Madeline up by her arms.

"You're such a pretty girl, why won't you walk for me?" She looked down at her little mini-me, who grinned back up at her. "That's okay, we've got some time." Pepper smiled and walked with Madeline into the kitchen, before pulling her up into her arms.

Madeline babbled some and looked at her mom, giving her a big kiss on the cheek. "Ba ba ba," she giggled and reached out for the bowl of food that was waiting for her.

"I know, I know, you're hungry." Pepper smiled and sat the toddler down in her highchair, locking her in and grabbed the bowl from the counter. "Here you go Maddy, fresh blueberries for you." She smiled and let the little girl take the berries from the bowl. "You're just like your daddy." Pepper chuckled and got up to grab a glass of water.

Leaning against the counter, she watched as Madeline struggled to pick some of the blueberries up and put them in her mouth. She couldn't believe that it's almost been a year since she was born. It was so crazy to think that as soon as she had found out that the little one was coming how their lives had changed.

Pepper never knew what love really was until she first laid eyes on her beautiful little girl and everyday since has been the greatest experience of her life.

"Oh, oh." Madeline looked down at a blueberry that had fallen on the floor. Pepper smiled and watched her try to reach for it.

"Baby girl, that's not coming back. It's dirty." She chuckled and walked over, picking up the blueberry from the floor, only to watch Madeline throw another one onto the floor. "No, sweetie, we don't to that." Pepper said and picked up the next one. Looking at Madeline, who gave her mother a mischievous grin, she laughed and kissed her blueberry-stained cheeks. "Yup, you're just like your daddy."

Tossing the blueberries in the garbage, Pepper grabbed a wet washcloth and went back over to the little girl, who was now squashing the berries on the table. "All right silly girl, I think we're done with those." She said and began to clean the squirming little girl up.

"Okay, okay, I'm done." She chuckled, putting her hands up and looking at the little redhead in front of her, who in return, mimicked her mom. Putting the washcloth on the table, Pepper unbuckled Madeline from her highchair and carried her back to the living room, placing her on the floor, where she crawled right over to the stuffed animal.

Sitting down on the floor, Pepper watched Madeline play with the toys for a bit, watching the little girl pick up a toy and stand on her two wobbly feet, but fall right back down on her bum, giving a giggle. "That's right, keep on trying." Pepper smiled and tried to get Madeline to take a step, but with no avail.

It wasn't until she had laid across the floor, looking over at the little girl with a grin. Hearing footsteps come into the room, she then turned her head, seeing Tony walking over towards them. Pepper smiled, sitting back up and as she did so, she noticed Madeline stand up onto her wobbly legs.

Smiling, Pepper watched her daughter, one wobbly foot after the other, take her first steps towards Tony. "Oh my god," she chuckled, watching the little girl fall back down. "Tony, those were," Pepper paused, watching in awe as Madeline got up again. Tony sat down on the ground, opening his arms out for her. Taking another wobbly step, Maddy giggled and made her way to her dad, slowly.

"Just one more step," Pepper smiled and watched when Maddy tumbled right before Tony. The little girl's face scrunched up, turning red, before beginning to cry.

Scooping her up, Tony chuckled lightly and kissed the side of Madeline's head. "You're okay baby girl, you're okay." He said and calmed her down, looking over at Pepper with a big grin. "Were those?"

Pepper nodded. "Those were indeed." She smiled and made her way closer. "She's been trying all morning, I just didn't know when she'd actually take the first step. Isn't that right sweetie?"

Smiling, Tony set Madeline back on the ground while Pepper grabbed her stuffed animal. "Go princess, go to mommy." He said to her, letting go of her little arm. "Go Maddy, go to mommy."

Madeline smiled, taking her little legs and tried again, one wobbly foot after the other, making her way to Pepper. "Come on Maddy, you can do it." Pepper smiled and cheered her on.

"Ma ma ma," Madeline babbled and fell into Pepper's open arms.

"Good job Maddy," she smiled and peppered the little girl's cheeks, listening to Madeline's little laughs. "I love you so much." She chuckled and kissed her again.

This was everything she could've asked for and more, her life before didn't mean a thing before this little girl came along. Now she had everything she wanted.
