A few years later. Just after Graduation.

Allison shuffled into the Bender kitchen for what was supposed to be the last time. She was confident in her usual Chucks with some jeans paired with a simple black long-sleeve. Claire was mixing some lemonade at the island when Allison waltzed in. Claire now had ass-long red hair that actually suited her quite well. She wore a simple red dress with no sleeves and almost touched her knees. She swiftly offered Allison a glass and the brunette surly accepted it. Her own hair was at a decent length to call long.

"Are you excited?" Claire beamed and there was no way for Allison to ignore her excitement.

"Of course."

"Well you don't sound it!" Claire playfully whipped her with a hand towel.

Allison moved around the island until they were across from each other, "No. Really, I am."

"Good," Claire put the pitcher into the fridge and arranged the other four glasses she had made.

"How are you doing?" Allison eyed her friend, hoping her assumptions were not correct.

Claire huffed and sipped her own drink, "Life throws you curve balls sometimes. Just have to live with them. I mean, John and I will be in the same state at least. He's really excited about that band but I'm hoping they don't go touring the world just yet."

"So he auditioned for what? Air guitar?" Allison teased.

Claire smiled, "No. Drums. And he's not half bad, too."

"So he's relocating to California and you just so happened to get a scholarship to a college just South of him?"

"Yes. And no it didn't 'just so happen'. I worked my little ass off to get into that school for fashion. And anyways, aren't you just following Andrew around?" Claire took the heat off of herself and her relationship.

Allison drank, "Andrew got into the state college in Florida. I just so happen to have a lot of places on my list of travel spots in Florida. I won't be there the whole time but I will be living in his apartment when I am there. It's a pretty sweet deal. I even got a job at a sports bar around his campus. That way I can go travel during to week and get paid with good tips on the weekends. It's a great compromise."

"As long as you're both happy about it, I'm not going to object," Claire spoke.

The two sat in a comfortable silence. The television could be heard in the living room with some football game raging on. John and Andrew were crashed on the couch, yelling occasionally for their teams. The guys were rooting for opposing teams and everyone knew it wouldn't end well. But they'd gone through this same afternoon too many times to count. Claire left Allison in the kitchen and sat the boys drinks down in front of them before heading for the bathroom.

Allison stood by the island a bit longer, deep in her own mind.

The past few years has really brought her out of her shell. Andrew with all of his generosity and gentle encouragement had been enough for Allison to truly become a confident woman. Now, at eighteen and a few more hours left with the Breakfast Club, she couldn't help but smile at their wonderfully adventures together. And the club did have a short life, but who ever said they wouldn't keep in touch?

"Hey, Ally. What are you doing in here?" Andrew strutted into the kitchen with a simple t-shirt and jeans on. He probably was never going to change as a person. But that was completely fine with Allison. That way she always had an anchor, that one controlled variable in her life.

And yes they fought and snickered but they always made a point of doing it behind closed doors. These fights were tiny and not enough to ruin the two. Once, when they were together for a good six months, they bickered for the first time in front of the club and this obviously affected their friends. They had slowly become the adult figures of the group. Knowing what was best for each member and also able to make rational decisions. They were a good team. Partnership.

Allison swirled the liquid around her glass to show her current activities.

"Well, you can do that out here," His words were almost a whisper, as his mouth was next to her ear. He had come up behind her and pulled her closer by the waist. Andrew rubbed his stumble against her shoulder and almost purred.

"What about the game?" Allison asked innocently, knowing how much the boys like to watch it together.

Andrew scuffed, "We're winning by like a million. No worries here."

"Well, if you say so," She turned to face him, placing her hands on his chest and his own stayed around her waist. Allison lightly pecked him and then smiled up at him.

Their eyes locked and there was nothing else for a moment. They were content.

The doorbell rang for a second before the door itself flung open. In came Brian Johnson with a pretty little thing on his arm. He had his hair long, wore jeans and a flannel. His muscles were becoming more prominent due to taking weight training senior year. The girl, they all seemed to recognize her from somewhere, though no one could really place it. She had prominent orange, or ginger, hair that was effortlessly done. Her jeans were simple and matched with a pink, yellow and white striped sweater. Her chucks were yellow.

"Sorry we're late. The traffic was terrible," Brian said to the whole club. From the front door, everyone could see him. Even Claire who had emerged from somewhere else in the house and now stood in the hallway. Andrew and Allison moved to get a better look from the kitchen doorway. Brian's smile was bright, "I'd like you all to meet Laura Masters."

The room was silent. John moved uneasily at his seat on the couch.

"Hi," Laura spoke tentatively, "Brian's told me a lot about you."

The whole group seemed to wonder when Brian Johnson had met a girl, won the girl, and started dating a girl.

"We've known each other since junior year when we both got into the highest English and Math classes. That's why I was studying too much then. Wasn't too fun, was I? Well, we've been together for some time and I thought it was time you all met properly," Brian explained.

Allison was the one to speak, "Well, it's good to finally meet you. Here, come with me and we'll get you two some drinks."

Allison walked across the room, gently tugged at Laura's arm and then swiftly took her out of the spotlight. John stood and have Brian a high five. Andrew did the same, the three of them mumbling about Brian's manhood and puberty must have hit him without them noticing.

Claire stared daggers at the nerd, "Together a while now? Highest English and Math classes? Brian Christopher Johnson! You mean to tell me you've had a girlfrie-"

Brian stopped her ranting when he pulled her into a hug, "I'm glad you approve."

"Oh whatever. Congratulations you big dork," Claire hugged his waist.

John and Andrew continued their game time bonding while Brian and the girls entered the kitchen. He had some explaining to do and something told Allison and Claire that Laura wasn't just some first love. She acted like his only love.

And how ever sweet that story was.

Hello my humble readers.

An extra chapter? I didn't even know it was coming. But I felt bad for leaving you guys sort of hanging and I have had another story drifting the back of my mind. So, how would you all like a story about Brian and Laura? It will be during high school but I'm hoping that I can do another story after this graduation about one of the couple's.

Trust me, everything will make sense with time.

And with this new story, comes a new plan. I'm hoping the chapters will be a bit longer and I will definitely take it longer than 11-12 chapters. But I'm not sure how long yet. Their love story lasts a longer time than what I envisioned for Andrew and Allison. Those two just sort of clicked from the beginning and I wanted it to be kind of like breathing for them to be together.

But with Brian not having a love interest in the movie, my OC will probably bring some very interesting things into the mix.

I only have two things to ask of you guys and to tell you.

1) Review or private message me if you'd like this other story. And if so, what you'd like a romantic interest of Brian's to be like. (Just so I can bounce ideas around).

2) The title of this new book will be Here I Go Again. (and just for a little treat, I will let you guys know that this story was inspired by the song When You Cant Sleep At Night by Of Mice & Men.) (Meaning this one is based off of the song Here I Go Again by Whitesnake.)

Happy reading! (:
