Frodo opens his eyes; he finds himself in what appears to be a brightly lit room and also on a bed. Frodo confused on where he is pushes himself up to try and find out where he is, however upon sitting upwards…before him is Gandalf who stares at the hobbit with a sad face while Frodo cannot help but to look disbelieved that Gandalf is alive, "Gandalf?" Frodo says

Just then Gandalf begins to smile happily and begins chuckling which brings a smile to Frodo's face who also begins to start chuckling. Just then the door to the room opens up as Merry and Pippin appear and begin to smile themselves seeing their friend awake and alive.

"Frodo!" Merry says happily

The two then run towards the bed and hop on as Pippin and Merry begin "attacking" Frodo happily which Gandalf watches amused as he continues laughing. Frodo then gives Merry a hug who returns it back to him, just then Gimli rushes into the doorway and yells happily with his arms outwards catching Frodo's attention to the doorway, "Gimli!" Frodo says

In appears in white elven clothing and smiles happily at Frodo who is also glad to see him, just as Legolas walks in Aragorn follows next appearing at the doorway in red clothing.

"Aragorn." Frodo says

As then Aragorn walks in with a smile on his face as well and joins the other four around the bed looking down at the three hobbits. Just then the Master Chief appears in the doorway as well, still in his armor as he looks at the hobbit.

"Chief." Frodo says

While no one can see it, they all guess that behind that helmet the Chief is smiling just like any of the others…and they weren't wrong about it. The Chief then walks forward and joins the others as well.

As Merry and Pippin continue to stay on the bed laughing and being happy that Frodo is still alive, it is then that finally Sam appears in the doorway as well looking at Frodo who also takes notice of him, the two stare at one another and smile happily knowing gladly that they are both okay and can return home along with the others.

Two Days Later…

Minas Tirith…

Minas Tirith has been rebuilt, with help from the UNSC and Separatist the city was once again now fully rebuilt as it no longer looked like it had been attacked. The Ishimura floats in the air a few feet away from the city; meanwhile at the top of Minas Tirith in the courtyard, thousands of men and women along with soldiers from both Gondor and Rohan stand and floating to the sides of the courtyard are Pelicans and onboard UNSC Marines, ODST's, SPARTAN-IV's and Sangheili. All of them there…to attend the crowning of Aragorn as King. At the doorway to the great hall, Gandalf raises the crown high into the air before then placing it on Aragorn's head as to his side is Gimli who holds the pillow which the crown was placed on.

"Now come the days of the King." Gandalf announces

Aragorn looks up at Gandalf and smiles, "May they be blessed." Gandalf says as he then stands to the side and Aragorn stands up.

Aragorn pauses for a second and breathes to catch his breath as he readies himself to take on the mantle of his duty and destiny. Aragorn then turns around causing the civilians to begin applauding happily at their new king.

"This day does not belong to one man…but to all. Let us together rebuild this world…that we may share in the days of peace." Aragorn says gaining another round of applause from the citizens.

Just then petals from the White Tree begin to fall, standing among the crowd is Eowyn and next to her a fully alive and well Faramir as they clap along with the people and stare at each other in happiness. The applause then begin to die down as then Aragorn begins to sing a song, a song that in Quenya, long years before his forefather, Elendil, had sung as his feet first touched the lands of Middle-earth.

"Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien. Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar tenn' Ambar-metta. (Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.)

Aragorn begins walking down the aisle as people on both sides of him smile towards him, he walks past Eowyn and Faramir who smile and bow to him and then walks past Eomer who also bows down to him. As Aragorn continues walking he then finds himself walking by the Master Chief who gives him a nod and then salutes him, behind the Master Chief stand the ODST squad of Buck, Romeo, Dutch, Mickey and the Rookie the four with their helmets off and held at their sides as they smile happy for Aragorn while the Rookie of course keeps his helmet on. As Aragorn looks forward he then sees a group of elves led by Legolas stop before him as he stops in front of Legolas, the two then place a hand on each other's shoulder.

"Hannon le. (Thank you.)" Aragorn says

Legolas holds back a small smile as he steps aside. Behind him stands Elrond. A white banner with The White Tree is seen, and Arwen reveals herself behind it. Holding the banner, she walks up and curtsies to the king. Aragorn looks at her in disbelief and deep love as he caresses her face. Aragorn and Arwen embrace and kiss each other. The crowd again applauds as everyone even the soldiers from the four armies smile in happiness. Arwen laughs joyfully and Elrond looks on smiling. The two then join hands and continue walking through the crowd as they then reach the four hobbits who bow in respect to Aragorn and Queen Arwen.

"My friends…" Aragorn says catching the four hobbit's attentions as they look back up at him

"…You bow to no one." Aragorn says as he shakes his head.

It is then that Aragorn and Arwen kneel down in front of the Hobbits and are soon joined by everyone else to show them their gratitude. As for the Chief and the UNSC and Sangheili, they give a salute to the hobbits to also show them the gratitude they deserve. The four hobbits look around them, overwhelmed by the great honor that they are receiving from the people.

Just then the Chief and the ODST squad, knowing that it is time turn around and head towards one of the Pelicans passing by the people are who still knelt down. Aragorn however hears them moving and looks up to see the six as they hop into one of the Pelican ships. Aragorn stands back up along with everyone else looking at the Pelican Dropship and begins making his way there, knowing where Aragorn is heading, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin walk over as well to the Pelican.

"Chief." Aragorn says catching the SPARTAN's attention.

"My apologies Aragorn. But I'm afraid I can't stay any longer. While your battle has ended, mine has not." Chief says

"I know. We only wish you could've stayed longer and we give you our gratitude as well. You helped us in our most darkest of times, without hope for reward and hope for survival…but you still fought alongside us to the end. We are grateful for that." Aragorn says

"It's what I was born to do. Protect people." Chief says

"Will we ever see you again?" Frodo asks

Chief looks down and away from his new friends, "I…don't know." Chief replies

Hearing this brings sad faces to the group knowing that this could be the last time they see their friend the Spartan again. Just then Chief turns around and walking over to one of his marines, the marine then gives him something as Chief turns around and walks back to the ramp of the Pelican. In his hand is his old helmet which was broken by the Witch-King.

"Here. Just a little something to remember me by." Chief says as he hands the helmet to Aragorn who looks at it before than looking back up at him about to say something.

"Don't worry; I still have this to remember you by." Chief says showing the group the Elven Brooch they received before leaving Lothlórien.

"You are a great warrior Master Chief. The memories we have with you and the bonds we formed will forever be in our hearts. You shall be missed." Aragorn says

"Same goes for you." Chief replies

"Once again…thank you for everything you have done for us." Aragorn says

Chief then looks around and nods his head towards Buck who then seeing the Chief's nod bangs on the door to the cockpit signaling the pilots it's time to go. The pilots send word out to the others as then the rest of the Pelicans take off towards the Ishimura with the people of Middle-Earth watching in sadness as their new found friends/allies leave and wave goodbye to them. The UNSC and Sangheili troops onboard the Pelicans return the wave and smile back at them. As the ramps begin closing up. Finally the Pelican the Chief is on begins to close its ramp as well as Chief turns around.

"Goodbye Chief!" Pippin yells out as he and the others watch full of sadness as the ramp slowly closes up and with it the last moment with Chief.

Just then the Chief turns his head around and looks at them, "By the way…my names John." Chief says to his friends just as the ramp closes up and then flies away.

Hearing this shocks the members of the Fellowship after having just heard Chief tell them his real name. The Fellowship members get out of their shocked states and watch as the Pelican the Chief is on follows after the other Pelicans after the Ishimura which has begun to ascend into the sky.

"Goodbye and good luck…John." Aragorn says with a smile on his face as he then looks down at the helmet of the Master Chief.

In the Pelican…

"You…gave them your name." Cortana says a bit shocked by the Chief's action as she knew that the real name of a SPARTAN was something sacred and only known among the brothers and sisters of the SPARTAN-II's

"They may not be my brothers and sisters or SPARTAN's…but during those months we were on Middle-Earth, they became a family to me just like them." Chief replies

"John…sometimes you continue to amaze me." Cortana says

"Sometimes I amaze myself." Chief says

"You know…you never exactly said no to never seeing them again." Cortana says

"I never said yes to them either…perhaps once we deal with the Loyalist…I…could talk Lasky into letting me borrow a ship. You still have the coordinates here right?" Chief asks

"All stored up in my mind." Cortana replies

"Good." Chief replies as he then looks down at his Elven Brooch and the times he had with the members of the Fellowship flash through his head.

"Well then…until then. Let's go home…John." Cortana says

"Yeah…" Chief says as he then closes the hand with the Elven Brooch in it, to treasure it until the day he hopefully sees the members of the Fellowship again.
