There had been many, many times when Taiga had thought to himself that his relationship with Kuroko might be a bit more troublesome than he was really prepared for. This was not one of those times.

'Kagami-san,' his blue haired boyfriend interrupted his line of thought. 'Are you thinking dirty thoughts again, you pervert.' It was amazing that someone could sound both so condescending and yet completely monotone at the same time but basketball wasn't Kuroko's only talent apparently.

"Well, it wasn't one of those times an hour ago." Kagami sighed, answering, 'Oy! Watch what you're saying half pint, if you would just pick something we would already be gone and I wouldn't be standing her e bored out of mind!'

'Ne, but Kagami-san…'

'But nothing, pick quickly!' If they stared here much longer they might run into than annoying Kise-bastard; he always seemed to find Kuroko when they went out. It was downright creepy.

'Probably stalking us as we speak…' he murmured gently to himself. Kuroko barely spared a glance for his weirdo boyfriend, eyes focused in front of him intently. He slowly lifted his hand and gestured meaningfully at one of the objects.

'That one.' The store worker moved quickly to pick it out and wrap it carefully, smiling at Kuroko before he caught sight of the look on Kagami's face and paled rapidly, sidling away. 'It's about time! ' Kagami moved quickly, grabbing the bag from Kuroko and hurrying him out of the store, Kuroko put up with it knowing his boyfriend was upset because of how long it had taken him to decide; but this had been too important to rush.

Thirty minutes later they arrived at their apartment, bundling out quickly to avoid the cold. As they got inside and hung up their coats a loud barking started, coming from inside the house. Hurrying, Kuroko left Kagami standing there as he rushed further inside with the bag clutched in his hand. Sighing, Kagami finished and followed him into the living room where Kuroko sat by Kuroko II's basket. Watching as the dog and her (hadn't that been a surprise to the team) puppies cuddled up in their new blanket.

He hated to admit it but they made a cute picture; especially when 3 pairs of huge sapphire blue eyes turned to look up at him simultaneously. 'Thank you, Kagami-kun.' Though an outsider wouldn't be able to tell, he could hear the minute warmth that had furrowed its way into Kuroko's tone.

'…whatever,' He knew he had turned red from the gleam in his boyfriend's eyes, but he couldn't really bring himself to care. Yeah they were times when he wondered if being Kuroko's boyfriend was worth the jealous treatment of overenthusiastic ex-team mates (read: the Generation of Miracles) or the constant teasing from the team or even the friction that sometimes existed between them; but it was never for very long or with any real weight.
