Pacing. Endless pacing. 4:26. Shit. He's late.

Wait.

Was that a raindrop? I hold out a hand, feel the rain start falling harder.

Come on, Kurt. How much time does it take to grab your bags?

The plane was on time. Why is he not here yet?

More pacing.

Rain falling harder, but I'm not leaving. I can't.

I have to see him. Soon. Now.

There. He's there. It's pouring.

He looks around. I wave, his face blurring through the rain. "Kurt!"

He looks over, smiles slightly.

"Hey," he says when he reaches me.

I can see the pain in his eyes, the half-there smile.

"Kurt," I say softly. "I'm so sorry. I wasn't…I know I cheated and…it was wrong, but I will regret it until—"

But he stops me.

"Blaine, I believe you."

The rain falls harder, soaking us to the bone.

Kurt shivers in the silence. "You're all I've been able to think about….just…how much I need to talk to you and apologize for not being there when you needed me…and…I forgive you for what happened."

We stand facing each other. I step forward, closing the gap between us.

"I've missed you," I say.

"You're not alone, Blaine. Always know that," he replies with a smile.

I grin back at him. "I love you."

He shakes his head. "I've missed you so much. Six months is too long to be away from a best friend."

My smile falters. I back away slightly. Best friend?

"You mean you don't want to get back together? I thought you said I was forgiven. That you missed me," I say angrily.

A clap of thunder startles us both.

"Forgiving you doesn't mean I want to get back together. Not yet. I forgive you, and I missed you but that doesn't mean you've earned back by trust."

"Then what will?" I shoot back. "What was the point of accepting my apology when you don't even trust me? What will it take to make you love me again?"

Thunder rumbles.

"Blaine, I think we need to start over."
