Sorry it's been so long but I've been working like Oh Ma Gawd all day everyday and finally I have some time off so here it is! A little short but better than nothing!

Law smirked to himself that Inori hadn't noticed him lock the door. He wasn't really sure where he wanted this to go but he liked how things had turned out in the medical bay, she was leaving in five days anyway and she had been avoiding him for three so with the time he had away from her he had managed to come to the conclusion that he at least wanted to confess his feelings to her before she left, she deserved that much at least, it was also to calm his own turbulent mind, the fear that she would never return to him was almost crippling, and he hated it, even if it was his decision that she was to leave (and he still stood by it) she had to, he needed her safe and for what he was planning there was no way he could be sure if he could keep his own promise to protect her from harm. "Now, what was so important that you actually appeared in front of me, in person?" he smirked at her puffed cheeks, he did enjoy that expression on her face "So you haven't been avoiding me?" she opened her mouth to argue but when he raised a single eyebrow at her she closed it again. An awkward silence settled between them, Inori stood in front of him looking at her feet twiddling her fingers, she wasn't exactly sure how she wanted to start, he sighed and secretly smiled at her "I'm sorry, I wont tease you anymore so please let's talk." he walked past her and sat on his old faithful black sofa (I honestly forget if I have described Law's room or not haha) he flung the towel over the back and gestured for her to take a seat beside him, slowly but surely she did still fiddling with her hands, by now she had totally lost her nerve and was warring herself on if she should just run for it. Law watched her facial expressions change for a moment then decided to calm her and get this moving, he gently placed a hand on her head her soft hair slipping through his fingers. "If you wont talk I will..." she said nothing "Is this about what happened in the medical bay?" she blushed and nodded quickly his hand still on her head. "Then is it safe to assume this has something to do with you leaving?" she nodded again. "And your feelings for me?" she started to nod her head but stopped and turned to him with an almost desperate look on her face "Don't do that." she whined

"Do what?"

"Don't figure it all out before I can even say anything, and this isn't just about my feelings..." she sighed "I want to know yours too." Laws eyes widened slightly as he looked down at her, she was desperate to know, she needed to know. He knew how she felt for him already but hearing her say it aloud wouldn't be so bad and she did have a right to know how he felt. Letting his hand slip to the side of her face he locked eyes with her and leaned in slowly "I-"

BANG BANG

"Inori! Get out here brat! That pain in the ass puffball bear ate all the dinner!"

"Ugh.." And just like that the mood shattered and the two angrily glared at the thumping door. "Inori-nee come quick Bepo has a tummy ache!"

"I'm not surprised the fat fu-"

"Goldie!" Inori swung the door open and covered Rowan's ears as Goldie went on a rather verbal rant about Bepo and how she was starving and it was so stuffy in here, pretty much every second word was 'fuck' or 'shit'. "Law~" Inori whined at him still covering Rowan's ears. Law grunted and stood walking towards the trio "Very well, I will tell Jean Bart to bring us up for a while." Inori smiled softly at him.

"And if the weather is nice we could have dinner on the deck." she beamed removing her hands from the side of Rowan's head. "I suppose I should go start dinner...*sigh* again." she gave Law an apologetic look and made her way back to the kitchen. Law watched her till she was out of sight then turned to glare at Goldie and Rowan still in front of his door "Oopsie did we interrupt something?" Goldie sent him an evil smirk.

"Yes." His reply was flat and he left for the control room and one final glare.

"What? Interrupt what?" Rowan looking at the still smirking nun.

"Give a while kid, then you'll know...give it 10 years at least!" she pointed at him his confused expression only deepening.

It was when Inori returned to the kitchen and saw a bloated Bepo on the floor, an empty chilli pot on one side and an angry hungry crew kicking his other side that she realised how this crew would become a bunch or dirty, hungry pirates without her, she had to do something to ensure they would still be alive and well when she did return. She pondered what she could do for a moment absentmindedly watching the crew continue to kick Bepo who bloatedly said 'Sorry' and it was only when Penguin picked up a cook book to whack him with that an idea came to her "That's it!" she beamed and snatched the book from a shocked Penguin and bolted from the room "Ah Inori-chan wait!" Nico yelled after her.

"What about dinner?!" Lucas wailed

"Aw~ my tummy hurts~ " moaned Bepo. Inori popped her head back in the kitchen at this point "There's some stew in the fridge from the other day heat it up in a pot for 10 minutes and Bepo there's some pills in that draw there for your tummy ache." and she was gone again. "But I don't like pills." sighed Bepo.

"Then drink the pink stuff in the fridge!" She called from down the hall.

"Suimasen."

"OI!" They all yelled at him.

Four days later Inori was sat on the floor of the deck, they had come up for air after Goldie practically screamed for a smoke in the fresh air (bit of a contradiction but don't argue with her) and Bepo was 'dying' to cool off. She was sat cross legged a thick pad of paper on her lap, she was writing on the last page completely unaware of Law walking up behind her, a rather frustrated Law. He had been desperately trying to get Inori alone for the last four days but she was always running somewhere writing something then running again. "It's done!" Inori raised the now full pad above her and spun with a beaming smile and noticed Law standing there "Ah Law! Here it's finally done!" she presented the book to him, he tried to keep the scowl from his face as he took the infernal thing that kept Inori's full attention for days but the scowl was totally forgotten when he saw the title 'Inori's guide on how to survive without Inori.' he looked at her and saw she was staring at him expectantly, he opened the book at a random page and saw a step-by-step guide on how to use the oven. There was even a chibi drawing of herself using said oven. He flipped again and saw another guide on how to separate the washing, how to remove stains, how to clean the showers properly, even a whole section on everyone's favourite recipes and what everyone did and didn't like. "You made this?"

"Is that dumb? It's dumb isn't it, it's just when I thought that I wouldn't be here to take care of you all I got really worried and started to write this for some peace of mind but i suppose I should have-"

"Inori. Thank you..." he pulled her to him with one arm and held the open book in the other "They're gonna need it...the title could use some work though."She lightly thumped his chest and he smirked burying himself in her hair and pulling her tighter to him.

"Not just them, you too." she stepped away and pulled another book from behind her (Where did that come from?!) this one was a lot thinner and more neatly done, he read the title 'How to take care of yourself without me'. He handed her the fist book back and took the new one flipping through it, mostly it was little notes about his daily routine, how she suggested he should set an alarm for dinner time in his office so he wont forget to eat, his favourite soap was the peppermint one, in training his right side was open the most, and so on a so forth. He flipped to the last page and saw it was more like a letter than a guide on how to live. Inori noticed the page he was on and her face burst into colour and she tried to dash past him but he grabbed her and brought her to his side. "You're not running away this time." He read the first few lines then looked down to her flushed face, he smiled to himself and pushed the book into her hands then took a step back "You read it."

"HAH?! Bu-but I wrote it so I didn't have to say it."

"So you planned to leave without saying that?"

"No...yes, maybe, I dunno." he looked at her, waiting for her to start, clearly not about to let her go until she did say it. She sighed in defeat and began reading. a minute passed before Law cleared his throat.

"Inori, aloud would be nice." he smirked.

"Law...I hope you will use these notes, it took forever to remember everything but I need to know you will take care of yourself, I need to know you will still be you when I come back, when I come home. So just as an added motivation I'm gonna give you a piece of me to keep and remember me because I want you to have that, I want you to remember that..."the tears dripped down her face "I love you, so much. And I can only pray that you love me.." her arms dropped still holding a book, that's where the letter ended but Inori had more to say than she wrote. "...because I couldn't take it if you didn't, that's why I wrote this so you would know but I wouldn't have to "He was watching her intently as she trembled "It's selfish and I'm sorry but please don't tell me, I need hope-" he cut her off and crashed his lips down on hers, she clutched his jumper for dear life and kissed back needing him so much that breathing was totally forgotten until it became so painful in both of their chests they had to separate and take huge gulps of air. Law quickly buried his face in her hair and held her so tight he was afraid he would crush her, but she held him just as tight. The sun began to set around them and bathed them in an orange glow that made the a hundred times more beautiful to each other. Law leaned away from her and held either side of her face and she continued to hold his sides "I love you, Inori." her eyes widened and she looked in his eyes, he was telling the truth, she could see it shine in his storm grey eyes. She gave him her most beautiful smile yet "Will you wait for me? Till the day I can be beside you again."

"Only for you, as long as it takes." they kissed again and then they just talked, about everything and nothing until the sun disappeared behind the sea, and Inori loved every second of it but reality had to hit eventually "Well I guess I should go and start dinner, what would like? Anything at all name it."

"You."

"Eh? Don't be silly I need to-"

"The only thing you need to do is get to my room and take of your clothes, reality can wait."
