Chapter 10: The Attack

The Akatsuki base

Pain and everyone else were ready for the rescue of Sasuke and Konan, they were all just waiting on Deidara who was dreading this mission. Pain knew he hated the kids but he finally found a jutsu that can change Konan and Sasuke back to normal. Pain was growing impatient.

"Deidara, Hurry up!" Pain yelled

"Oh Pain, I'm so sorry but I can't help, my pet rock just died" Deidara then pulled out a rock with X's as eyes and a frowny face "rest in peace rocky. I'm sorry I need a minute"

Deidara tried to walk away but Pain grabbed him by the neck "you listen here! If we can't get these kids back I'm going to give you a buzz cut"

Deidara clutched his hair in fear "JUST HANG ON I'M COMING!"

Pain grinned "much better"

Sakura's House

Sakura was having so much fun bouncing Sasuke up and down on her leg. She honestly thinks this is the first time she's seen Sasuke smile, she's also never seen Sasuke laugh this hard before. She was starting to think that this was just another average kid, but no this was for sure Sasuke. She had a warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach for 2 reasons, 1 Sasuke was back, even if he was a kid and 2 she got to see Sasuke all happy.

'Tsunade wants to find a jutsu to turn Sasuke back to normal and possibly find out some stuff about orochimaru. "WEEEE HEHEHE!" But maybe she'll understand that Sasuke could get a second chance, he could start all over and not be all caught up on revenge' Sakura thought.

"Goochi goochi goo" Jiraiya said as she was tickle torturing Konan and Konan was stuck in a endless fit of laughter 'also the Akatsuki memeber Konan, she could also get a second chance at life'

Naruto on the other hand completley agreed with Tsunade to change them back. Sasuke is like a brother to Naruto, Naruto had a bond with Sasuke that was like no other. Though Naruto was smiling, in his eyes were sadness and sorrow.

"NARUTO, SAKURA, JIRAIYA, I HAVE URGENT NEWS!" Shizune yelled barging into Sakura's home

"What is it?" asked Sakura

"The Akatsuki are planning an attack to get Sasuke and Konan back" everyone gasped except for Sasuke and Konan

"Yay we get to see Inu!" Sasuke and Konan cheered simultaneously

"We've got to protect them! No matter what!" Naruto exclaimed

"Right!" Sakura agreed "lets go" Naruto, Sakura, Jiraiya, and Shizune all left the house completely forgetting about Sasuke and Konan

"... Hewwo?"

Outside the Hidden Leaf Village

The entire Akatsuki just stand 150 meters outside the Hidden Leaf Village where they will rescue their kids. "Deidara" Deidara nodded and ade a giant clay bird and went to fly over the Hidden Leaf "everyone else. Follow me" and then we headed our way towards the leaf.

Hidden Leaf Village

"Stop right there!" Naruto yells "We know what your after and we're not gonna let you take innocent kids for your sick twisted games!"

Pain started to chuckle "Remember just dodge, don't attack, everything is under control" Pain said, everyone nodded

The leaf nin looked confused 'what could that mean?" Naruto thought

Sakura's House

Sasuke and Konan were playing with the toys that were left for them when suddenly a familiar blonde figure kicked down the door. "Deidawa"

"Yeah, Yeah quick get on the bird and lets get out of here" they hopped on the bird and flew. Deidara dropped a tiny clay bomb where the fight was going on which signals that Deidara has gotten kids

"Deidara has the kids lets move!" Pain yelled as the Akatsuki and team Hebi went back to the base.

Akatsuki base

"Alright, Konan, Sasuke, you ready to be grown ups again?" Pain asked

"Yeah!" they cheered

Pain did the jutsu and after the smoke cleared there showed a grown Konan and Sasuke.

Sasuke now had back on his normal face "Hn" "You know Itachi sense you didn't kill me while I was a child I'll leave, but next time... C'mon guys" and Team Hebi left

'Finally' Pain thought 'it's all over.

Hey guys so I know the final chapter really sucks but I couldn't think of ideas anymore sense I haven't touched this story in a long time and I just wanted it to end and I know I left some parts out like "What happens to Inu?" but you know I just want to start fresh on some new stories so if you want it to end differently write your own ending in the reviews.
