"My whole story has undergone a complete reboot because my original plans for this story have been completely forgotten and I have no other ideas other than this reboot idea. There is still a bit of original parts in the story like Naruto being the child of Izumi Curtis and the pairing being a Naruto and Olivier M. Armstrong. Later on I will explain later in the newly made chapters about Naruto's origins and how he came to be. I won't remove the other chapters because it was the first serious attempt I did in making the story so it is out of respect and to the fans who first read all of it. The previous chapters are no longer connected and this is the real chapter for the story, the chapter is small but I will get to the length of my chapters later on. This is my proof that my story is continuing my story and that I am not abandoning it. The name is slightly the same only just visible minor changes, it was previously called "Homunculus Rebirth: Izumi's Child Reborn", now it's called "The Homunculus of Izumi Curtis."

Thank you and please review.

'Wait, how did... how did I get here?' coming out of her daze, Izumi Curtis thought, puzzled after slowly coming to her senses. She blinked a few times, looking around her to find only herself surrounded in desolate expanse of white. Confused, the young woman questioned what had happened to her, thinking back to how and when she got here. It only took a few moments when she gasped lightly in shock, remembering the Transmutation. Looking around quickly Izumi tried to find any means of escape, but her dark eyes met only the white expanse stretching for miles and miles without any end. Looking over her shoulder did she find something?

Behind her were a large stone tablet made up of two stoned doors closed together. And engraved on it was a unique mural. It was unlike anything she had seen, it was just there in a large rectangular shape, floating within the endless white expanse and left only a simple black shadow underneath it. "A Gate" she thought wonderingly. It was strange to her. It looked very old from her point of view. As if it had been here longer than her. Curiously Izumi lifted her arm up, her hand inches away from touching the mural.

"Enjoying yourself?!" a voice had broken her out of her stupor and made the young woman turn around quickly. To her surprise though, her dark colored eyes met upon a young man facing away from her with another stone gate in view. She couldn't see his face but she noticed his long, unruly blonde hair. How she knew this person was a man was from the sound of his voice.

There was a silent between the two of them for a few moments till he moved. Sitting from where he was—which was just a few feet from each other—he stood and turned around to face her. He was quite the handsome fellow. Izumi examined him. He had a handsome face with no traces of fat on him. His skin was fair, having three thin lines on each side of his cheeks—resembling whiskered birthmarks—and bright chlorine blue colored eyes. His form is well-proportioned and physically fit, sporting a well-defined, lean, muscled appearance. From what Izumi could tell, he was somewhere in his mid or late teens. Covering the lower half of his body were white bandages covering up from his waist and down till they stopped at his knees, there were three bandages that hung at his side.

"Who are you?!" she questioned him cautiously. How? How did this person get here? She already looked around and saw no one or anything in the void, the blonde had just appeared out of nowhere.

Tilting his head, he cupped his chin, contemplating at her question. "Who am I? Hmm, it's been so long I've almost forgotten who I was back then, but the memories are still there only a little blurred. I believe my name is maelstrom…" he said, but furrowed his brows at what he said and immediately shook his head. "No, no that's not right. Well it's close to it but they don't rhyme or sound the same, they have the same meaning only with a different name… now let's see, it's Naruto. Yeah, that's it, Naruto's my name." he snapped his fingers at being able to recall his name.

Izumi felt the corner of her lips curve up slightly, he was certainly strange but seemed at least a bit nice "Do you mind explaining to me what's going on here. How did I get here? How did you get here?" she asked seriously, he may seem like an oddball but she had other prior engagements.

Hearing her question the blonde looked at her soberly, "I think we both know why you're here. You're here because you went and did something stupid like the others before you" he replied harshly.

'Others?' Izumi thought surprisingly. Mentioning others wasn't all too surprising; the technique she used was mentioned in every Alchemy books referring the art she just used as taboo. But it gave a question and sort of an answer to Izumi's thought. Just how long was this person within the void that he would compare her to the people before her?

"And like the truth would say, you dared to knock on the Gate, and now the Gate is open" that look he gave her wasn't a welcoming one. It was void of any expression, leaving only a blank look.

Behind her Izumi heard the stone doors open with a boom. Looking back Izumi saw nothing but blackness within the Gate only for an immense eye snapping open from inside. That's when several hand-like appendages shot out from the darkness. Barely managing to run, the appendages quickly wrapped around her body, "No, no" she hissed, thrashing, trying with all her strength to break free. Izumi looked back as she struggled. The blonde just watched as she tried to fight through the coiling shadows that bind her.

"Don't worry, it'll come to pass. This is what YOU wanted didn't you Miss. Curtis? And like ALL the Alchemists before you it'll all come clear, you'll see the 'Truth'." Izumi didn't understand what he meant. Passing the threshold of the Gate she saw the stoned doors slowly close together before they slammed shut in a fierce clap. She fell into the bottomless darkness and met with streams of images and light.

A moment, a second seemed to pass before the doors had reopened with Izumi coming from the depths of the darkness. The doors slammed shut as she exited. Naruto could see the trouble look on Izumi's face. "I told you it would come to pass" Naruto commented. Frozen in place temporarily Izumi looked at him baffled before realization came and looked back toward her Gate "it… it is possible" she said suddenly in a shallow whisper, pressing her hands against the stone mural "it is possible for my son to be resurrected. Please, I'm begging you to let me through it once more, I need to know how I can bring my child back to life" she exclaimed in hope, the desire of having her son back to her was right in front of her, the gate was her key to achieve what she wanted.

Naruto could only shake his head, "Sorry but I can't do that, the Truth doesn't work that way, you've already paid the toll that you had given to see" Izumi looked back giving a confused look from when he said toll. "Toll?" she questioned aloud, Izumi didn't remember about giving a toll. When did she? How did she? And if so, does that mean if she gave another toll, could she be able to see more in the Gate of Truth.

"That's right, Miss. Curtis. The Law of Equivalent Exchange states you must give something of value and what you gave is a fate worse than death. You should have just moved on rather than relying on ifs and possibilities on something as stupid as this" Naruto stated harshly. All of sudden thin blue jolts of electricity had spiraled from her abdomen. Wide eye, pain erupted after, causing the young woman to cough violently. Nearly falling to her knees the young woman had doubled over clutching her stomach. Shakily Izumi raised her looked back up to the blonde. "Thanks for the help" pressing his hand against her forehead, he pushed her and once more she was thrown back into the black void.

With her Gate closing Naruto turned back to looking at his Gate, which was slowly opening. "After all this time I can finally leave this place" he murmured.

"And what would be the point?" a chilling voice had made itself heard, the way it sounded was mixed with voices of a man, woman and child. Not paying any heed to whoever was behind him, the blue eyed blonde continued to watch the doorway open. The voice continued, "You already know you can't go back to your world because you've crossed over to the other side of your Gate of Truth and came here, even if you left you would have just ended up there anyway. So why bother with something you already know?"

The blonde didn't register the question, for a few moments when his gate fully opened that's when Naruto responded. "My memories are still a little blurry, but I can still recall about my past, Truth" Naruto replied calmly, looking over his shoulder he saw the company that had been with him since his time within the void. A white, featureless humanoid mimicking his own body structure sat a few feet from him, itself being outlined by a black aura that made it apart from the void itself. And the only feature he could see was a large toothy grin splitting ear-to-ear. "You wanna know why I bother, it's very simple. The reason why I'm doing this is because, I. CAN."

That was it. That was all there was to say and he went into the blackness within his Gate.

Izumi Curtis found herself hacking out large globs of blood. The spurt of red life fluid smacked against the cold, grey floor and splattered all across the white lines of her Transmutation-Circle. Her strength faded instantly and caused her to fall flatly on her stomach. She thought maybe she just imagined the pain from inside the void, but instead it turned out to be real. Gripping her shirt, tugging where her stomach was, she felt something inside her forcefully taken by alchemical power. She could feel it: a hollowness of her lower insides.

She didn't understand? How? Just how could this have happened? She did everything right. Izumi knew what she did. She had done calculation after calculation, making sure everything was accountable for her to perform her Transmutation, so why? Why did it fail? Why was there a Rebound? And the blonde, what did he mean?

Never had she felt this kind of pain before. She was strong woman who endured the most vicious environment in northern Amestris but never did it come close to this. The feeling of her organs deconstructed from the inside and torn away, the blonde, he had to have done this to her. 'Damn it' Izumi cursed herself; she was so close from blanking out from the pain and falling to unconsciousness. But before she could have, Izumi was shaken slightly when she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her tired body. Her vision was blurred, slowly focusing her vision she met the face of her husband: Sig Curtis.

Sig looked at his wife in shock and worry. It was so easily written on his face as he stared at the state of his wife was in. He had just come back making a delivery when he saw the strange flashes down in the basement of his home. Whatever it was, it felt concerning at what his wife was doing and sought to check and see. A good thing he did. Going to the basement of his home he found his wife Izumi lying on the floor. Seeing his beloved down immediately alerted him and when he neared her and saw the sight of blood—her blood—and he was in panic.

"Izumi, please wake up, Izumi!" he cried desperately, shaking her desperately so she wouldn't fall asleep. Her dark eyes had been closing slowly but she gained back little of her strength to see her husband's face. "Sig" she murmured soft. Seeing the man she fell in love with lightened her spirits. After that had happened to her, it made her glad he was here, and her in his arms. Smiling lightly she winced from the pain.

"Ugh, is this how it feels to be back" stiffening in his arms Izumi felt her pain vanish and replace by a cold stab of fear. With strength suddenly returning Izumi looked back to where the voice came from.

'It can't be' she thought worryingly. It shouldn't be possible, how? That voice, that familiar long blonde hair, he was here. He was here and he was here standing on the center of her Transmutation-Circle. Facing behind them, the Curtis' noticed his stance was wobbly, swaying lightly side-to-side. He didn't register the two of them behind him.

"It feels like I've been asleep, no, more like I've been through a dream" he told himself aloud before turning around and facing them. There was no doubt about it. Somehow, someway he was able to bring himself into the physical plain of existence. Blue eyes looked around before locking on her and Sig. The corner of his lips curved upward, "hello again, Miss. Curtis" Naruto greeted her. Seeing him take a step forward Izumi reacted on an impulse, without being fully away to what she did, the young woman clapped her hands together—thin blue-white jolts danced across the flesh of her hands before she slammed them onto the ground. Streaks flew across the concrete of her basement and immediately concrete had come to life.

Massive spikes of solid rock moved jaggedly across the room all heading straight for the blonde. His eyes just widen slightly from the abrupt action and before Izumi and Sig knew it, thick spikes of stone ripped through the walls, causing the ground underneath to quake slightly. On impact dust and dirt blew everywhere in a massive cloud.

"That was rude, and here I was thinking I could help after you so graciously helped me"

Gasping, the wide eye woman looked back quickly, and what she saw shook her. His arm was swung, bringing a backhanded strike that met her husband with surprising force that actually made him fly back. To fast, he grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground. Their faces were inches apart from each other, "don't worry too much Miss. Curtis, I'm not going to hurt you, I was planning to repay my debt to you for helping me escape the void. Unfortunately though, I can have you attacking me so…" raising his free hand, Izumi saw his entire palm illuminate in a light green haze, he brought his hand down with a simple chop, everything turned to black.

Dropping her, Naruto sighed, 'This is going to take a while' he thought with his head shaking slowly. That's when Naruto heard the bellowing roar of Izumi's enraged husband. The large man tried to swing at him; easily sidestepping the blonde's palm lit up once more and sent a quick chop to his back shoulder. Hearing him gasp, he fell flatly on the ground beside his wife. 'Not really what I had planned, oh well' he shrugged his shoulders and began to move them one by one.
