It was late at night, at another motel in Pennsylvania. Sam Winchester was sleeping in the bed next to his brother Dean, who was also asleep. But yet, he kept tossing, turning, and mumbling.

Dean yet again turned over on his right, facing away from the motel's boring shade of beige wall and mumbled, "Cas"

It was so quiet that the only living thing in the room who could hear it was the person, well angel, the name belonged to. Castiel wasn't in the room, but he could still hear Dean mumble his name even if he was on a different planet. Which he basically was.

That's when a faint sound of wings filled the air and Castiel appeared at the foot of Dean's bed.

"Yes De-?", but his eyes fell on Dean who was still sleeping. The angel added two and two together and realized that Dean must of said his name in his sleep. Which made him smile to himself.

Castiel walked over to the side of Dean's bed and cupped his left hand on Dean's right cheek.

Dean's body relaxed and stopped tossing and turning. Castiel swears he even see's a bit of a smile on Dean's face.

The angel kisses his forehead, and with another faint sound of wings, disappears.
