she knew she was gonna be a

Because on her birthday

her mummy gave her a guitar.

So she mapped out her future

on a scrap of indigo wrapping paper

{Knows where she's going, this one}

{That's a big dream you got there}

She never told anyone

about all her ambitions

but she did paint her room indigo

and write her future along the

_s_k_i_r_t_i_n_g_b_o_a_r_d_s_

in her tiny handwriting

and when they asked her what she wanted to do

when she grew up, she said

"I don't know."

But she did, really.

—When she went to Hogwarts—

Her cousin showed her

The Room.

She went there in secret

And it taught her music.

It gave her hope

faith in her dreams

and a love of the colour indigo.

was to be the absence of indigo-

a star in the sky

a speck of gold in the expanse of colour.

So she surrounded herself with indigo

hoping someone would notice the tiny gold glimmer

She interned at Gringotts under her uncle Bill

but she secretly went busking in muggle London on her lunch breaks.
