Always There

Chapter 5

Zeke was ecstatic Sharpay had just admitted her love for him.

"Well do you know what?" asked Zeke, in a whisper.

"What?" asked Sharpay, sighing knowing he was going to say he didn't love her.

"That's the best news I've had all day," he smiled.

"What?" asked Sharpay, stuttering and falling off Zeke's knee.

"The best news?" asked Sharpay, from her place on the floor.

"Yes," nodded Zeke, a smile on his face and his hand outstretched for Sharpay to grab.

"Why?" asked Sharpay. "I mean I'm Sharpay I mean and awful and a bitch."

"You're beautiful, confident and you have a heart," smiled Zeke "And I have loved you for years."

"Really," smiled Sharpay, tears tracks still on her face.

"Really," smiled Zeke, pulling her back up onto his lap.

Sharpay looked down at her lap fiddling with her hands.

"So what now?" she asked.

"This," smiled Zeke, tilting her head up and kissing her.

Sharpay sighed she had never known a kiss that could be filled with so much love. She could get used to this. She melted into the kiss and wrapped her arms around Zeke's neck.

"So," whispered Zeke, pulling back.

"What?" asked Sharpay.

"I broke the heart of the ice queen," he whispered.

"No you fixed it," smiled Sharpay, kissing him again.
