I don't own the Avengers nor the song Sweet Charlotte that inspired this short one shot.

Steve looked up as the moving van came into view. He and his friends had been playing in his yard when a for sale sign had been replaced with a sold sign. Now a week later a large van came followed by two more.

Steve along with Tony, Clint, Bruce, and Natasha watched as the workers took all the fortunate in the house working fast setting everything up before leaving. Soon a fancy car came rolling into the drive way and an older looking man got out and so did a woman, and then two teens.

The blond one jumped out excitedly running into the house and the second boy, smaller came out nervously walking into the house last. For a while they only saw the older teen, Thor, out playing having fun an soon Steve invited him to play with them.

A few times they saw his younger brother Loki who peeked out the window or he would be seen sitting down through a window. No one knew much about him and when asked about Thor was quick defend that Loki was fine and that they should leave him alone.

Than one day Clint and Natasha went on vacation with their parents and when they came back said they heard a song with Loki's name in it. As they started singing it Thor's mom was gardening when she heard it looking shocked and pale.

"Chop chop sweet Loki, chop chop till he's dead chop chop sweet~ Loki, Chop off his hand and head. Off to meet your lover you ran, chop chop, now everyone understands, just why you ran to meet your love chop chop, to chop his head and hand."

The next day the family was gone and movers started to move things out of the house.
