Whoa, it's been like forever since I last posted this story.
The stuff below is the thing I never got to finish and I had to re edit a few things.
But I think it would be quite interesting to keep some of it.
[The one below is a past writing.]
(Past) Me: … Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting in like… uh forever… But hey I'm back and out of my writer's block in this!
Crazy Hand: Aren't you gonna do one of those movie skits?
(Past) Me: No! I'm not stupid! If I do that I will get unreasonably hurt! … Which is why today's skit is from a TV show! *Changes into a pharmacist.*
(Past) Me: Ahh, Perry the Platypus how unexpected, and by unexpected I mean completlyexpec-

Chapter 6: Jumping ja hosa fax, Jumpman!
A long time ago in a glaxay far, far away…
Stop! I already did a Star Wars bit; I'm not doing it again! Change it!
Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom, lived-
What the? This isn't a fairy tale; it's a fan fiction! Where everyone gives away free grammar mistakes and traumatic imagery.
It was a dark and stormy night-
You're doing this on purpose aren't you?
Back at the library-
Thank you.
Back at the library, we zoom into a new group… Huh?
Where are they?
I can't seem to find anyone, odd.
I don't even hear them; guess they all got really lost or they all stumbled deeper into the library, same thing really.
Well, guess we will just go back in the journal I guess.

"Show me what you've got! Let's a go!"
Mario said as he charged strait at Marth.
Marth then unsheathed Falchion and went to meet Mario at the middle of the stage. Marth opened the fight with his dash attack, but Mario immediately ducked at the last second and then unleashed his super jump punch on Marth, knocking him onto one of the flying platforms. Mario, landing on the center stage just a few moments before Marth, landed on the platform and quickly ran behind and below the platform Marth landed on.
When Marth stood back up, he immediately got kicked in the back by Mario's back air and went flying towards the other platform, but this time, Marth landed on the other platform standing up. He then faced Mario on the other platform, still in his fighting stance. Marth realized this fight would be different than with Link. Mario had a more aggressive style compared to Link, but Marth was wondering what Link meant by patience.
Marth jumped towards Mario, slashing as he landed on the platform; Mario dodged the slash by stepping to the side and quickly jumped off the platform. After Mario landed, he stretched out his right hand and fire began forming in his palm. He then threw the fireball straight to Marth. Marth jumped off the platform and landed near the edge; he suddenly lost track of Mario and quickly scanned the field for him. Marth saw Mario running towards the opposite direction from where he was from.
Mario then picked up a red and white sphere off the floor. Marth knew it was an item that Mario had picked up, but he didn't know what it would do. Mario threw the sphere at Marth. However, since the item was a ball, Marth swung his free arm and caught the sphere. Assuming that Mario could also catch the sphere, Marth threw it at the ground close to Mario, and the sphere opened with a bright blue flash.
When it opened, Marth was surprised to see an odd eyeball staring back at him. The creature was just one eye with its body the shape of some foreign symbol to Marth, and just like Mewtwo, the creature was levitating. It then flew away out of the arena.
"… What was that?" Marth simply stared at the being that flew out of sight.
"Uh oh, this is bad for me." Mario said as he got ready to run.
"Why?"
"What you just summoned was a Pokémon, just like Mewtwo, and this one's power here is…"
Marth suddenly looked to the sky as a huge shadow was casted over the arena. The being had came back, and it brought its entire family. The large swarm was flying right towards them at ridiculous speeds.
"Waah!" Marth braced himself as the swarm was going to hit him… or so he thought. When he opened his eyes, the entire swarm avoided him and started attacking Mario!
Marth watch in awe as Mario was covered by the black of the swarm; he heard the kind hero grunt in pain within the swarm. Then he saw the Swarm form a sphere around Mario and suddenly flew off the arena with the usual sky explosion. Then he saw a platform come right above the middle of the arena with Mario on it.
Mario landed on the center of the field, looked to Marth, rubbed his head, and said, "Guess I was the first to lose his first stock in this." Mario then charged at Marth, "But don't think you have the upper hand!" Both of them engaged in an epic fight of dodging flying metal, fists, legs, and fire.
[Shepherd P.O.V.]
While this was happening, the Shepherds were getting unlucky again.
"Oh gods, my back…" Chrom moaned as he and his good friends all where face/back first into the floor of the arena. They all had gotten hit by several of the swarming Unkowns, which was the equivalent of being hit by a baseball going 91mph.
"This hurts more than it usually does when I hit the floor." Sumia said as she slowly got up.
"Sumia dear, when did you get here?" Cherche said as she creaked her neck back into a right spot.
"What were those horrible things! Oh gods their eyes! They stared into my soul!" Yarne got up, only to have a panic attack when he realized he was somewhere completely new, "Where are we?! Why are they so many people?! *looks to Marth and Mario* Is that guy throwing fire?!"
"Shut up!" Everyone was getting back up and couldn't take more of Yarne's screaming since they all had a terrible headache.
[Marth's P.O.V.]
Suddenly a large beeping noise was heard all throughout the arena. A symbol of grass appeared on the screen, and the platforms were slowly descending into the arena. As the platforms descended, a field was appearing up in its place, the ground turned into grass, and an odd wooden structure came out above a mini river.
Marth quickly stared at his new surroundings; however, he was distracted by someone coming up from above him.
Mario jumped nearby and rushed Marth. Marth slashed, but Mario dodged the blade easily. Mario used this opening and did a powerful smash attack on Marth and sent him flying out of the ring.
Marth felt his body ache as he flew then relieved as he found himself on top of the same flying platform Mario was in just a while back.
He realized that Mario had just knocked him out of the ring and he too had just lost a 'stock' but how many did he have left?
"Marth, the platform won't last long! Be careful because it will just disappear beneath your feet!" Mario yelled to the prince.
Marth didn't seem to understand that concept properly, but it was too late. The platform vanished and Marth fell down to the floor, imbalanced. "Whoo!?"
Mario chuckled lightly. "Are you alright? You probably weren't used to the Re-spawning Platform."
"What?" Marth asked as he tilted his head, confused at the words Mario had just used.
"I guess it's complicated to explain, but just know that those platforms are the things that help us get back into the arena whenever we get knocked out," Mario explained. "Are you alright though? I can wait until you feel ready to continue our duel."
Marth was rather amazed at the mercy he was allowed to have by Mario. Truly his appearance made the red clad man look weak, but that was a fatal mistake to anyone that fought him. Mario's mobility and skill would rival even that of Navarre and Ogma!
There was no denying it in Marth's mind! During their entire fight, Mario had dodged every one of his attacks and instantly was able to counter him after each of his attacks!
Wait, is that what Link meant when he said Marth needed patience? Mario is a master at last minute attacking! What a truly terrifying fighter!
[Shepherd P.O.V.]
"Amazing… looks can be so deceiving. I should have learned this lesson from Nowi and Nah, but I feel ashamed for looking down on such a warrior." Robin exclaimed.
"Not to mention he is so merciful: during that entire fight he showed almost no form of bloodlust, yet he fought with the ferocity that could make Walhart lose composure." Say'ri commented.
"Ohhhhhhh…" Priam cried, tighthening his fist and trying his best to calm down. "To think such warriors existed!"
[Marth P.O.V.]
Marth stood up and held Falchion, indicating to Mario he was ready to continue.
Mario smiled and went back to his fighting stance. "I should also say, since I forgot to mention it earlier this match has two 'stocks'. We both already lost one life and now we're down to our last one."
Marth readied his blade. This was his last chance to defeat Mario, but the warrior was far too skilled! His reflexes easily surpassed his own, so how would he fight against that!?
Wait… Mario had lost a life before, and that was because…
Ahhh! So that was why Link told him to be patient!
Mario charged forward launching himself with a jump and filling his fist with fire. Marth rolled out of the way the attack then retreated away from the pyrokenteic.
[Shepherds.]
The group watched as Marth was now in the defensive and continually run from Mario. Despite his amazing reflexes, the portly man was too slow to keep up with the Altean.
"Oh, I see what he's doing now!" Robin cried out.
"What? He's just running away from this Mario! And it's hard not to see why." Chrom told his friend.
Robin quickly dismissed with his best friend said. "No, he's taking the advice of Link. It should be happening soon…"
[Marth]
Mario's eyes widened as he heard a sound come from behind him. He looked to Marth who's eyes seemed to lock on the sound on the very left edge of the arena.
Marth dashed behind Mario, with the portly plumber hot in pursuit. Mario then heard another sound then he smiled as he saw the symbol the screen was making.
Marth raced as fast as he could, but suddenly a large mountain shot up from the ground and prevented him from reaching what he was aiming for! He quickly looked to the screen to see an 'Earth' symbol in the screen. Then saw a shadow above him—it was Mario and he was using metal platforms in order to jump over the mountain wall in front of him!
At that rate, Mario would reach it first!
Marth calmed himself and felt a surge of power. He held his blade and bent his knees.
Dolphin Slash!
In one amazing flash of light, Marth shot up, slashed the platform Mario was currently on, and grabbed the end of the mountain.
Mario had no choice but to fall back to the ground to avoid getting injured, but now he had no way to get back up.
Marth grunted as he forced himself back up the miniature mountain. He smiled at what he saw: a Pokéball.
He quickly raced for it and then threw it at the ground a little far from Mario's reach.
The ball opened and its light brightly blinded the entire field.
When the light died down, Marth and the others were surprised to see a large white bird like creature.
The creature roared powerfully then flew high into the sky.
Marth, still stupefied, was surprised with a sound of clapping from Mario.
"Well played Marth, you win."
"E-excuse me?"
"That was Lugia. I can't believe your luck, oh well his ability is about to happen right about…" The winds started picking up furiously. "Now."
A large burst of wind slammed Mario out of the arena causing a voice from the sky to cry, "GAME!"
{Author notes}
Wow, it has been so long huh? I don't even know why I decided to post the next chapter of this story.
But I felt the battle between Marth and Mario should have been concluded or something.
Looking back, I was so terrible in writing this story.
But... I'm glad that it wasn't as terrible as I made it out to be. The grammar was atrocious, but everything else seemed pretty OK.
So I'm keeping the errors here. to remind myself how much I've grown now.
Unfortunately this story will be put back in hiatus after this post. So please I don't recommend following this.
I only wrote this because it was easy to write as of now.
But maybe, just maybe... I can finish this story one day.
Very unlikely, but never impossible.
See you.
