Now that we know what happened to Brendan in the Hoenn remakes, I can post this bonus chapter of this story.

It's very silly, so don't expect much.

Months had passed since the debut of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

As expected, the series' fans were very eager to obtain and play through the new games when they were released, hungering for a fresh adventure in an all-new region.

However, the excitement could not last forever, and some very thorough players found that the new games were… somewhat lacking, like a meal that was two courses too short.

Nonetheless, the games were considered a success, and paved the path for Game Freak's next big Pokémon project.

Red, Nate, Calem, and the other male protagonist characters were then summoned one day, into the conference room to discuss what was in store for them. As usual, the roll call was performed, each boy answering as the speaker in the middle of their table spoke their respective names.

After a shaky first impression, Calem in particular had managed to settle in comfortably, shy and quiet as he was. After seeing what he had accomplished in the story of his games, the other boys had come to respect his inner courage… and not to mention, his unique ability to utilize Mega Evolution.

"So, boss, what's the big news?" asked Ethan, the boy of the Johto region.

"I was just getting to that!" answered the voice from the speaker. "This November, we're going to be releasing a new pair of Pokémon games!"

The seven boys gasped at hearing this new piece of news – and Brendan slammed his head on the glassy surface of the table.

Ethan and Lucas attempted to console the downtrodden boy, while Calem looked on with a worried face. Hilbert and Nate were personally more excited to hear about the new games, while Red simply maintained his stoic front.

The staff member continued, "These won't just be any games, mind you… Like Fire Red, Leaf Green, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver, the new games will be a re-made version of an old classic!"

Brendan stopped sulking as soon as he heard that. "Y-you mean?"

"You guessed it, Brendan! We're working on a new pair of games, set in the Hoenn region… Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!"

The names of the remade games were almost unheard as Brendan hooted and hollered in a very noisome manner, dancing all over the place as his long-standing foul mood was finally broken by the best news he had heard in years.

"Yaaaas! Hoenn confirmed, bitches! Hoenn fucking con-fucking-firmed!"

The Hoenn boy then pulled his pants off to moon his peers, slapping his bared rear.

"Ha ha hah, I'm getting a remake! You know what that means? I'm gonna get to use Mega Evolution too! You hear that, baguette boy?" Brendan pointed to Calem – but not using his hands or fingers. "When I get my Mega Pokémon, you can play my dick like a fucking trumpet! Ha hah hah!"

Without putting his pants back on, Brendan did cartwheels out of the room, laughing hysterically as he disappeared down the corridor.

"Isn't it great?" Lucas said to the remaining boys. "Brendan's finally his old self again."

Nate shrugged. "I hope I get a remake someday. You think I'll have to wait long?"

Hilbert tousled the hair of his fellow Unova boy. "Hah, get in line, squirt! You'll probably have to wait 3,000 years for a remake of your games!" Calem nervously chuckled at recognizing the sly reference to the Kalos games.

"Hey, guys?" said the staff member, his voice coming from the speaker. "You might wanna come into the girl's room and get Brendan out of there! He really shouldn't have barged in there with no pants on!"

"Fine." Red stood from his seat, and walked out.

Just as the characters had been informed of the news, so too did the Pokémon players of the real world, and they too were excited to re-experience Hoenn.
