A/N: This is a rather short story, but I hope you like it anyway!

Rigby the raccoon, a groundskeeper, was a few feet near from a hole in the Park, where he and his best friend, Mordecai the blue jay, worked at. His boss, Benson told him he was supposed to cover it up, but he was slacking off as usual and ended up not doing it. Rigby wondered if he could go down the hole to see where it led to. He decided to take the chance and jump down. And so... he did.

He did that and ended up screaming during the journey inside the sphere. He fell way, way down several miles into the hole, and eventually approximately three hours later, he ended up smashing his face into the ground.

Rigby was not hurt, but his feelings were. He was missing his friends and his job already. He walked around trying to find a way out, when he came across a person who looked like he'd been living in the hole for a few hundred, maybe even thousand, years. His name was James, a former park groundskeeper who accidentally discovered the hole ten years prior and fell into it during a party outside. (A wild party, apparently.)

He hadn't eaten any actual food or creatures in several years, and he was pretty much dying to have something that, at least had flavor. Now was his chance. He then started chasing Rigby. Rigby screamed for help, but it didn't come as the entrance was too far away, and the exits were non-existent. James cornered him and tried to saw his leg off, but failed because he wasted time finding something sharp, and also because his dinner escaped from him. James stomped his foot in anger and started running after Rigby again.

The two chased each other for four hours straight. If you had seen it, you would think to yourself, ''How much longer can these two run around without getting tired?'' The path seemed endless, and Rigby's feet were swelling so bad they turned a dark red. He fainted from exhaustion, and James finally found him. He started a fire and cooked Rigby alive, while he laughed.

Then, Rigby woke up. He was in the park, sleeping. It was all a dream. Nothing... but a dream. He sighed and wiped his face in relief.

Then Benson came, and told him ''Rigby, why are you sleeping? You're supposed to be covering up that big hole over there!'' He pointed to the right. ''You'd better cover it up now or you're fired!'' Benson left.

Rigby went to it, and wondered if he could go down the hole to see where it led to. He decided to not take the chance, and so he decided to plug it up. And so... he did.
