Marco had thought about jumping into the unforgiving ocean for years, it had been on his mind a lot lately, his heart far too heavy to go on, his will broken down to nothing, having either out grown his family or out lived them, the only person that has lived through the pirate area, then the world picking itself back up after the war that Ace's little brother caused when he found One Piece, he lived having seen everyone's death, the only person that lived through it all that he knows of.

Marco had nothing but a tattoo to remind him of the family he once had, but the faces were fading, not even their wanted posters could fully bring back their faces to his mind, the only thing that gets his memory going are the old log poses that the crew had written up years ago, he smiled, he laughed.

He had tried starving himself, only he never died, he tried stabbing himself, flying to large heights then plummeting to the ground, his power, his devil fruit fixing his broken body, but it did nothing for his soul, it kept him here, and made him watch everything he knew, everything he loved disappear.

Marco never thought about making a family of his own, he never even conceded making a bunch of kids of his own, because he would out live them, he would see them age and die…Marco only wanted his family back, he wanted to see them, he wanted to be with them, and he wanted to go to them.

"Yohohoho…Yohohoho…" An eerie singing, pulled Marco from his musing, his eyes moving up towards the ocean, where a large lump was coming towards him, Marco squinted seeing a tall man in a suit, a massive afro the only thing that could be made out, as he got closer Marco saw that it was a skeleton, tall skinny and it brought crazy laughter to float around in his head along with a young black haired man that held such strong will, Brook, the musician from Ace's little brother's crew.

That's right, Marco thought, Brook ate a devil fruit that let him live forever too…he must have seen the same things.

"…Marco-san?" Brook question when the large whale landed up right next to the small boat, his voice sounded so shocked and surprised but there was a hint of happiness and relief.

"Brook, it's been a long time, yoi." Marco said standing up from the boat, Brook invited himself onto the Marco's boat; the skeleton hugged Marco in a bony grip.

"Yohohoho…" Brook's cheer seemed to vanish into thin air rapidly, moist hit Marco's purple jacket, soaking into it, Marco didn't mind, he wrapped his own arms around the man and cried his own tears out, they both cried and hugged each other, both men over joyed to have a little bit of their family back.

It wasn't much, both men are from two different crews, and the only thing that connected them was the two brothers, one a fellow commander the other his captain, the only thing that connected the two pirates together, but now that they have found each other, now that they are together, they won't part, not for death not for anything, a family they have found once more, and together they will stay. They won't be alone anymore; they won't be unloved or feared, the pain in their hearts, inside their souls will loosen until they can breathe without difficulty again.

Just the two of them, forever and ever and ever and ever…

Yeah its short, an kind of sad, i was going to add more like Luffy's descendent finding them but with the way it was heading it wouldn't have ended up any good. so hoped you liked it XD
