Yes, this is based on Project Titan by Respawn Entertainment, a game of which there's only a few pieces of blurred concept art and rumours that it involves mechs called Titans and infantry. Somehow, that was enough to inspire this. Hopefully E3 will give more food for thought.

Blood and Stone

The toil of our builders,

Wood, concrete and stone.

Situated in a field,

This structure stands alone.

Peace and quiet in the country,

Sights and sounds serene.

But then on metal sunlight sprinkles,

A Titan walks in gleam.

Positions taken at windows,

Barricaded is the door.

Rockets, lasers, bullets fly,

The mech comes to the fore.

It's over before the fight begins,

The structure's levelled bare.

Those on foot run curse and scream,

Caught in death and despair.

The Titan's had its share of blood,

So still striding it walks on.

Like the lives of those inside,

The structure's simply gone.

It can be easy to create,

But destruction's easier still.

Blood and stone in land alone,

Of death the Titan's had its fill.
