A/N: Guys, I thank you for all your support in all of my stories, this one especially, it being my very first one. All of your reviews are amazing, and I realy thank you for enjoying this.
Alas, this story is finally coming to an end. It's been forever right? Lol, not sure if there is or is not going to be a sequel. Then again, it's all up to you guys.
Well, enjoy. It's nice to have this story finally finished out of the other nine.
Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail. I just own my OC's in this story.
~Epilogue~
Two weeks after Lucy, Natsu, Suzuki, Happy, Kessho, and Draco came back, it was back to a regular schedule. The two dragons themselves: Kessho and Draco, also had hung around the guild for a short while, and did several jobs.
Today though, the two had announced that they were leaving. Kessho and Draco were to go back to where all the dragons were residing.
They were met with many objections, Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Suzuki especially.
Lucy had even suggested for Kessho and Draco to at least join Fairy Tail, but they both had simply refused.
"We're dragons." Kessho had pointed out, her electric blue eyes filled with sympathy. "We can't stay, and we still need to let the other dragons know that the mission to destroy Acnologia was a success."
"And I still have to see what I'll do besides guarding the cave." Draco added, nodding solemnly. It was one of those rare times that Draco was actually quite serious. He tucked his hands into his jacket pocket.
Natsu and Lucy exchanged an understanding glance. Suzuki, on the other hand, was bidding Kessho farewell.
"Do take care, will you?" Suzuki told the two of them, brushing her white hair out of her face. "I wouldn't like it if either Tamashi or Igneel told me that you two have gotten hurt or killed."
"Roger that," Draco grinned. "Sheesh, you can make such a fuss over us sometimes."
Kessho couldn't help but smile at Draco's remark.
Suzuki cracked a grin. "Well, who wants friends to get hurt?"
They all then exchanged goodbye's and hugs, both sides sad to see each other go after being together throughout the whole trip. Lucy felt her eyes brimming with tears, but wiped them away and tried for a smile.
"Keep in touch okay?" Lucy told Kessho, who nodded.
"Thanks for your help, Lucy." Kessho said. Then, she frowned. "I think I've said this before, but I am really sorry for what happened when we first met... When i attacked you I wasn't thinking then."
Lucy shook her head. "It's fine, Kessho! I'm okay now, so don't worry about it."
"Oh, yeah, and before I forget," Natsu pointed out. "Draco! Tell Igneel that I said hi!"
Draco grinned back at the pink haired boy. "Sure thing. I bet Igneel would be happy to hear from you especially!"
Natsu then grinned and flashed him a thumbs up. He then grasped Lucy's hand tightly. Lucy smiled. She still couldn't believe that they've been together for at least two weeks.
Kessho and Draco then started to morph into their dragon forms, but Draco stopped midway and transformed back into a human, jumping down from the sky and landing on his feet neatly.
Kessho was in her dragon form, being a black dragon with crystals outlined on her body and wings. "Draco? What's taking you?"
Lucy and Natsu looked mildly surprised that Draco had ran up to them again.
"Sorry, almost forgot something." Draco turned to Lucy, his face grinning as always. "Natsu, this is not what it looks like, so please refrain from beating me up, okay?"
Natsu didn't realize he was tensed up after Draco had told him this. Still holding on to Lucy's hand, he grinned slightly and rubbed the back of his neck with his other hand. "Er... Sorry. I can't help it though. She is my girlfriend, after all."
"Okay." Draco then finally said. He made a fist and put it over Lucy's hand. He placed something in it, and closed her hand quickly that she didn't have time to see what it was.
"Just so you know, Lucy, I'll be free any day." Draco said. Lucy raised a suspicious eyebrow, and Natsu looked beyond confused.
"Draco!" Kessho's voice called. "Are you coming or what?"
Draco smiled. "Well, see ya later. Until next time!" He morphed into his emerald green dragon form and swooped up into the air where Kessho was waiting. The two dragons then stared down at the Fairy Tail members below. After that, they then took off, black and green streaks in the sky.
"Bye!" Happy called.
"Be sure to visit us!" Lucy cried, waving to the dragons with her hand that was still enclosed in a fist.
More of the Fairy Tail members had started to bid them goodbye, wishing them luck on their journey back home. They kept watching until the two dragons had disappeared out of sight.
Wendy wiped her eyes. "I'll miss both of them a lot..."
"They were good people." Suzuki said, tugging on her dragon necklace. She sighed. "I really hope they'll be fine though, getting to the Dragon Cave is pretty challenging..."
"I'm sure they'll be fine though!" Natsu said. "They are dragons, you know. And I'm sure Igneel will welcome them! By the way, Luce, what was that thing Draco gave you before they left?"
Just so you know, Lucy, I'll be free any day, Lucy thought, remembering Draco's final words to her. Her eyes widened as she connected the puzzle pieces together and looked down at her hand, which was still enclosed in a fist.
Her entire team then gathered around her, and she was still holding Natsu's hand.
"What did he give her?" Wendy wondered, curious.
"Hmm..." Erza supplied. "I can't figure out what he would give her."
Gray raised an eyebrow, but he was unaware that he had stripped again.
"Hey, Lucy, why don't you see what it is already? I think everyone is dying to know." Odette noted.
Lucy looked at her boyfriend, who was grinning at her. She looked at the rest of her team and Suzuki, who was also looking at her fist expectantly. She exhaled as she opened her fist at last.
And in it was a silver key. A key with a dragon symbol at the end of it.
A/N: Lol, so that's it! So yes, Draco gave Lucy his gate key. Because after all, he is the dragon constellation.
Well, to me this seems more like a cliffhanger. Oops. But then again, it's all up to you guys whether or not you want a sequel. But that aside... This story is finally finished!
I was actually thinking of this ending a few months back. Coincidence?
Yaaaay XD
Thanks for all your support! All of you guys are amazing! *throws cookies in the air*
