It all started when he saw an ad on TV. He was alone at home and nearly in tears.

"Are you lonely?"

"Yes," Kurt whispered, nodding at the TV.

"Do you need companionship?"

"Yes." He nodded again.

"Do you have trouble sleeping at night?"

"Yes!" he cried, hugging a pillow to his chest.

"Then maybe you need… The Boyfriend Pillow!" Kurt quirked an eyebrow. That sounded odd. He watched as the ad showed pictures and yes, it did seem strange, but it was worth a try…right?

The next day he knew his package would be coming in the mail and he had to practically shove Santana and Rachel out of the apartment.

"Hummel, you're up to something," Santana said skeptically, holding her elbow against the door frame and effectively keeping Kurt from pushing her out.

"What?" Kurt's eyes widened. "No! Definitely not. I'm fine. Just go have fun at the spa with Rachel. She's actually quite bearable when she's quiet and her face is stuffed in a pillow for a back massage."
Santana snorted. "Right. Well, I'm on to you, Lady Lips. Later," she waved, side-eyeing him as she left.
Kurt breathed in relief, closing the door. About twenty minutes later, a package arrived and he eagerly paid, thanking the delivery man before closing the door once again and taking the box to his room. He cut the box open and dug through its contents to find what he was looking for.

His pillow. He smiled, looking around although he knew he was alone. He threw the box aside and held the pillow out in front of him. He bit his lip before climbing into bed and adjusting until the arm of the pillow was wrapped securely around his waist.

For the first time in months, he was able to get a full night of sleep. What he forgot about was the fact that Santana and Rachel would be home soon…

"What. Is. That?" Santana asked under her breath, trying not to wake her roommate as she looked at Rachel. "Seriously, Berry, you didn't tell me I was moving in with a mental patient. Why does he have a fake arm?"

From the entryway, they could only see the arm of the pillow wrapped around Kurt. They didn't see the rest of the pillow.

"No, Santana," Rachel whispered. "I think it's a… pillow. I saw something like that on TV the other day. Come on…" She tiptoed over to Kurt's bed an Santana rolled her eyes.

"What are we; mice? I'm putting this on Instagram." Rachel looked at her and giggled softly. She felt like a badass.

"Ooh, blackmail. I like it."

"It's not blackmail if everybody can see it, Dwarf. I just wanna tag Blaine and see what the ex thinks." She smirked and pulled out her phone, snapping a pic of a sleeping Kurt cuddled up with a… an arm pillow. "Precious."

"Post it!" Rachel said excitedly. "What are typing?"

"Remind me again why I moved in with you?" Rachel huffed, backing off and crossing her arms. Santana smiled. That always worked to get rid of the Toddler Diva.

"SANTANA!" Kurt shrieked from the bedroom the next morning before stomping out to the living room and shoving his phone in his roommate's face. "WHAT IS THIS?!"

"Relax, Lady Hummel," she waved him off, smiling. "It's just one picture."

"How on earth did this get TWO THOUSAND LIKES?" he demanded in indignation. "How did you even get that picture!?"

"You were sleeping," she shrugged.

"Santana," he shook his head in exasperation, trying his best not to scream at her or tear her head off or both. "What if the people at NYADA see this? What if Adam sees this?" His eyes widened. "What if Blaine sees this?" Just then, Santana's phone beeped and she pulled it out.

"Oh," she smiled sweetly at Kurt. "It looks like he just did."

Kurt fainted when he saw the notification: "BDGleeAnderson likes your photo."
