At the village where Shiori lived Terra encountered a barrier surrounding the whole village. She took her fist and knocked on the barrier 3 times quickly then paused then 2 times slowly and a pause then 1 more time. After that she waited for about a minute when the silver haired half bat demon showed up on the other side of the barrier followed closely by her mother.

"Sissy!" Shiori said.

"Hello Shiori, it has been a while. You've grown! Your barrier is also much stronger," Terra said

"Terra you look exhausted. You haven't been sleeping enough again have you?" Shiori's mother scolded. Terra looked embarrassed,

"I haven't slept enough lately that is true. I was wondering if I could come in the barrier and sleep a while," She muttered.

"Of course Sissy. We would be happy to help you," Shiori said excitedly. She quickly created a gap in the barrier just big enough to fit through. Terra darted through.

"Close it, quickly, there is a demon following me," She said.

"Yes I sense it too, it is coming at us with incredible speed," Shiori said while closing the gap. The gap was just closed when Sesshomaru came into view.

"Thank you Shiori. That demon has been following me for a while now," Terra said

"Why didn't you just destroy it like the other demons?" Shiori asked.

"He is not following me to kill me, yet. He just wants information about me," Terra answered tiredly.

"So he doesn't want to kill you?" Shiori asked brightly.

"Not yet, and as long that is not his intention I will not harm him," Terra clarified.

"Then why did you want to get away from him so badly?" Shiori asked.

"I need to sleep and he is curious, I am afraid that if I don't sleep tonight I will miss some important information, speaking of which, I am going to sleep now." Terra answered and then she laid herself down on the ground right next to the inside of the barrier.

"Good night," Shiori whispered and turned to the direction of her house. Terra was already sleeping soundly on the ground.
