Kyoya had been giving the cold shoulder to both me and Tamaki for a few days now. I wasn't too sure why but he refused to speak to me when I asked. He ignored me since the day I talked to Tamaki. According to the blonde he and Kyoya had talked once but he was rather distant during the conversation. Had I done something wrong? Had I upset him?

Sighing I looked up from my advanced chemistry book I was currently reading while sitting on one of the club rooms bay windows. My boyfriend was across the room typing away on his laptop. If you looked close enough you could see the thin line of frustration across his forehead. Something other than the club or his father was bothering him. What was it though? Frowning I could only stare at him for a while longer, trying to mentally figure it out.

Obviously he felt my eyes on him as his head suddenly snapped up, looking around until they met mine. It was then that I saw the emotion that made me feel almost sick. He was hurt by something I had done. What had I done to wound him so? I never wanted to hurt him, especially not without knowing what I had done. I had to speak to him but I couldn't do it now, not with everyone around. It just seemed like too much of an invasion of our already lacking privacy if they were to hear this.

It was obvious we needed to talk and fast but he avoided me every time I tried. Hikaru seemed happy lately. Maybe he had something to do with why Kyoya was avoiding me. It would make sense since now Hikaru was the one not happy with my relationship status. Well not necessarily the status as the person. Hopefully everything would work out if I could just get him to talk to me.

"Kyoya," I called across the room, "May I speak to you after club?"

"Of course" he answered, eyes not moving from his laptop. However the light reflecting off his glasses hid his eyes, a classic defense mechanism.
