Percy POV

After the titan war, I was given the choice of immortality. I refused to be with my love, Annabeth. Who knew that was my biggest mistake of my life….

*FLASHBACK*

It was the end of the school year. I graduated not with flying colours( what do you expect from a son of Poseidon with a serious case of dyslexia?) but I managed to make it. It was a few months after the titan war. I headed back to camp eager to see Annabeth and all of my friends. I hailed a taxi and made my way to CHB as I would like to call it. I crossed the camp borders after a friendly nod at Peleus, the guardian of the Golden Fleece at Thalia's tree. I dumped my stuff at my cabin to see another bunk bed being used. I pushed the thought aside and went to find Annabeth. I went to the Athena cabin to find Malcolm, the second-in-command for the Athena cabin. He told me he had seen here heading to the beach. I thanked him and made my way to the beach. As I neared the beach, I heard giggling. I was stunned. I recognize that voice to be Annabeth's but she never, NEVER giggles. I peered from the thick forest and the sight before me pierced my heart and my heart, my soul shattered into a million pieces. Annabeth was with a boy that looked a lot like me, raven black hair, sea green eyes… She had her arms around the boy's neck and they were kissing passionately. Sadness washed over me. After all that we had been through, she had left me and jumped at the nearest guy who had good looks. Than came anger. I had given up IMMORTALITY and the chance to be the thirteenth OLYMPIAN for HER. And this is how she repays me. I ran back to my cabin anger rolling off me in waves.

*FLASHBACK*

I remembered packing and leaving camp stomping to the Empire State Building, screaming at the guard to pass me the godamned key. He had been stunned and passed me the key. I punched in the button for the 600th floor. I stomped through Olympus once the doors opened.

Back to reality, I threw open the doors leading to the throne room to find myself in the midst of a council meeting.
