As the sun just began to rise over the horizon, Remus Lupin woke up. He rubbed his eyes blearily with one hand, looked at the person still sleeping soundly beside him and smiled. His slightly-too-long black hair had fallen over his face, so Remus pushed it out of the way and saw the perfectly sculpted face of Sirius Black. His mouth was slightly open and turned up in a vague hint of a smile, his skin was pale, but handsomely; not the kind of pale Remus was, the kind that made him look sick and his scars stand out, but a special kind of pale that was gorgeous, like sculpted marble. Last but not least were Sirius' eyes. Though they were closed right now, Remus knew that when they were open they would be a deep, grey colour; but the colour always lightened to shining silver whenever he was properly awake.
Remus loved Sirius' eyes. They were so unique, so beautiful, so Sirius.
"Hmmm, Moony?" Sirius grumbled, opening his eyes and looking at Remus, "what time is it?"
Remus smiled, "it's only six o'clock," he chuckled lightly as Sirius groaned, "it is Saturday, we don't have classes, go back to sleep."
Sirius smirked at this, "Remus, it's a Saturday, no lessons, I can think of something much more fun than sleep."
Remus rolled his eyes, "oh you're so romantic, I'm lucky to have a boyfriend like you."
"Shut up," Sirius laughed, climbing on top of Remus, "you know you love me."
"Do I?"
"Yes, now shush," Sirius said, leaning down to kiss Remus' neck.
Remus let his eyes fall closed, tilting his head back to give Sirius better access to his neck. This is why he loved Sirius, his ability to make him forget. He needed Sirius.
As much as he hated to admit it, Remus' future wasn't a pretty sight and any time he was forced to think about it he just got depressed. There weren't many career opportunities for a werewolf, so Remus' future was like an ocean, impossible to fathom, to cross, made him feel sick when he tried to think about but most of all his future, like the ocean, is out of his control.
But he had Sirius and with just another week left at school they were moving into a small flat together, who cares about a good career or a threatening war right now? Who cares that their lives are out of control? Who cares about the full moon?
All he cares about is Sirius.
Yes, Remus may have an unclear future, but with Sirius, at least his future isn't totally bleak.
Authors note- I literally have no idea what this is, it kinda just happened and not in the way I was expecting at all. Ah well, I was bored and tired so don't judge me too harshly on its terribleness. Please leave a review!
