Conner was glaring at the monkey exhibit. He didn't know why, but it just seemed like those damned monkeys were swinging to and fro to mock him.

'Look at me! I'm free and you're not! Banana!'

The blue eyed teen clenched his fists tightly as one monkey began dancing right in front of him, hooting and seemingly laughing at Conner. How dare this monkey mock him so? Didn't he know who Conner was? Did he really want to get in a fight with him?

"What are you looking at, stupid monkey?" Conner growled as he sneered at the monkey, who only continued dancing in front of him. "Don't make me go in there!"

Dr. Prince shook her head softly as Conner continued growling at the monkey, then turned to look at Artemis, who was glaring at the zebras.

"I don't get what we're doing here. We're teenagers. Not children." She hissed as Juniper softly floated around her, humming a slow tune to herself.

"I'm eleven. And you seem to have the attention span of four year old~" Juniper sighed, which only made Artemis angrier.

"You better shut your trap before I shut it for you!" Artemis growled, raising her fist to threaten the girl further.

"Artemis Crock! Put your fist down before I spray you in the face with my pepper spray!" Hunter boomed from behind her, causing both girls to jump in shock.

"Ah!" They both screamed, then turned to glare at the blonde man. "That wasn't funny, Big Nose!" They both yelled together, only managing to make Hunter's laughter double.

And while this happened, Dr. Prince did not pay much attention to what Kaldur-Jackson was doing. The dark skinned man was able to sneak away from the group without drawing any attention to himself, then somehow managed to sneak into the Aquarium.

Looking over all the fish that surrounded him, Kaldur was disgusted.

"What kind of Prince of Atlantis would I be if I did not help my subjects in their time of need?" He muttered to himself, looking straight into the eyes of a hammerhead shark who seemed to be silently begging for freedom.

"Do not worry, comrade. I shall get you out of there."

"Come on, Zee! I want to see the walruses!" Dani giggled as she dragged Zatanna by her hand, both girls running so fast that both Roy and Jason were screaming at them to stop.

"Tiaw rof em!" Zatanna giggled into her hand, eyes closed as she heard Roy and Jason cursing at them.

"Stop running so fast, girls! You're going to get us fired!" Jason yelled after them, but that just made both girls giggle harder.

"Faster, Zee! Faster!"

Unfortunately for both men, the girls started running even faster than before, leaving them trailing behind. Eventually they ended up out of the guards sight, making Jason sigh heavily.

"We're so fired..."

"But I want to keep petting the animals!" Robin groaned as Shawn carried him over his shoulder, Wallace chuckling at the young boy's misfortune.

"The petting zoo's closed, Robin." Shawn explained softly. "We've been here for hours already, kid! We have to get back to the main group."

"No! Goats and bunnies! I want to pet the bunnies!"

"Bird Boy, you're not being very nice to Officer Shawn." Vallace scolded lightly, pointing his finger at the young boy.

"So? Let the boy be free! He's supposed to have fun at this age!" Wendy suddenly appeared, giving a twirl with a smile.

Megan looked at her with worried eyes, but still scoffed and looked away. Raquel noticed this and sighed softly, walking beside the red headed girl.

"So, are you okay? With all of this I mean?" Raquel asked Megan, choosing to ignore Wally and his personalities.

Megan cocked an eyebrow at the older girl, but sighed once more and wrapped her arms around her shoulders. "I miss my family. I miss my friends. And I really miss my house my closet. I don't belong in here. I'm not... Wrong in the head..."

Raquel softly patted her shoulder, "I know you don't think that, but there must be a reason for you being in here. It may not be easy, but the people here are only trying to help you."

Megan scoffed lightly as she shook her head, "Sure they are. Just like the people at that last asylum..."

Before Raquel could try to make Megan speak any more, Wallace yelped in shock when Robin pinched his butt cheeks. Raquel cocked her head to the side at this, wondering when Shawn had placed the sprite down.

"You cheating prick!" Wallace yelled, face as red as his hair. "I'm going to get you for that!"

With that he started to run after the black haired boy, only to stop mid-chase and look at Alana, who had been extremely quiet the whole day.

"Are you okay, kamerade Vagner?" Vallace asked curiously, making the girl smile softly.

"Ve have not spoken in a long time, Vallace." She answered, German accent thicker than even Vallace's.

This made the teen frown slightly, but before he could say anything, Wallace was back. "Stop talking, you Germ! I'm trying to catch an annoying bird!"

Robin giggled as Vallace and Wallace started arguing once more, which left Alana sighing. Shawn rolled his eyes at the kids, then looked forward, only to find Roy and Jason drenched from head to two, with algae hanging from their bodies.

The older man quirked an eyebrow at them, then looked down to find Dani and Zatanna in a fit of giggles, also drenched and covered in algae.

"What happened to you?" Robin asked as he walked towards the girls on the floor, poking Dani with the tip of his foot.

"We helped Fish Sticks pull a Free Willy!" Dani gasped, which instantly concerned Shawn.

"What do you mean? Where's Jack- I mean Kaldur? And why are you standing here without the rest of the group?"

Jason frowned deeply as water dripped from his nose, arms crossed tightly over his chest. "Roy and I escorted Dani and Zatanna. They ran in front of us and met up with Kaldur, then proceeded to break the fish out of their 'jails'." Jason growled, using air quotations with the word jail.

"They actually managed to free the sharks and a few more animals before we got there." Roy hissed, glaring down at the giggling girls.

Jason kicked Dani softly in the side, but that just made her laugh even harder. "We were able to stop them from taking out any more fish, but Kaldur managed to somehow get them into a stream behind the zoo." Jason sighed as he shook his head. "Dr. Prince is going to kill us."

Shawn chuckled at the younger man's despair, but his small moment of enjoyment was cut short by a sudden scream that erupted from the main exhibitions.

"GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID MONKEYS!"

That scream was followed by howls and yowls from monkeys, making Shawn smack his head. Not long after the scream, dozens of monkeys bounded to where they were, eyes wide in fear as Conner followed behind them.

"I'll show you freedom! You'll find it in hell when I kill you!" Conner screamed in pure rage, eyes blazing angrily as he searched for the one monkey that had antagonized him the most.

"Conner! Stop this right this second! You're going to single-handedly ruin the whole Field Trip for the rest of the patients!" Dr. Prince pleaded as she ran behind the crazed teen, followed by the rest of the teens that had been there with her.

Except for Henry and Hunter. Shawn's eyes widened in fear at this, then he ran to the doctor. "Where's Hunt?" He asked, making her shake her head.

"He and Henry tried to calm Conner down... He attacked them!"

Shawn gasped at this, then turned around when he heard another scream. He then found Wally's body in Conner's hands, the red head glaring spitefully as the taller boy growled threateningly at him.

"Conner! Let go of the red head!" Shawn gasped, surprised to find the teens in this predicament.

"I'm sick and tired of this idiot being allowed to be an idiot! He's always insulting all of us! It's time he learns to shut his mouth!"

"Hey, Connie, stop choking Wallace! I like that idiot!" Dani threw a rock at the black haired teen's head, making him turn his anger towards her.

Wallace took the distraction and punched Conner's jaw, causing his grip to loosen. Wallace managed to wiggle out of the larger teen's grip and run to stand beside Dani, who was glaring viciously at the blue eyed teen.

"You have to breathe in and out, Conner!" Dr. Prince called, "Stop thinking about the monkeys!"

And just as she said this, a monkey suddenly appeared and jumped onto Conner's shoulders, making him scream in even more anger.

Dr. Prince smacked her head at what had happened, then turned around when she heard someone call her. Two police officers she did not know walked up to her while they held onto Kaldur's arms, his wrist handcuffed together.

"I believe this is yours?" One of the men asked with a frown, making Dr. Prince shake her head.

"I was just freeing my subjects, doctor. You must understand."

"Come back here you stupid monkey! I'll show you how much a banana split can hurt!" Conner howled in pure anger, then screamed when another rock hit his head.

"Stop scaring the monkeys you big jerk!" Wendy yelled, then turned into Vallace.

"Ja. No one likes a person zhat abuses zhe animals!"

Then Wallace threw a large rock at Conner's leg, making him angrier than before. "I'll show you just how insane I can be, Pretty Boy!" He cackled, then smirked when Conner charged at him.

"Stop following me around, you weirdo!"

Shawn looked behind him to find Artemis running away from a smiling Juniper, all the while Ember helped a limping Henry walk. Hunter was limping himself, had a broken nose, a forming black eyes, and was grasping his ribs tightly.

Dr. Prince looked on as the chaos unraveled around her, then she shook her head in disappointment.

"Ma'am? Is he yours or do we take this man to the police station? He just committed a major crime."

"Monkey Boy can't catch me! I'm too awesome to be caught!" Wallace boasted as he jumped over Conner's back, making Robin gasp and clap.

"Awesome! Do that again, Wallace!"

Now the doctor turned away from the police officers and found Robin, Zatanna, Alana, Roy, Jason, Megan, and Raquel sitting in a semi-circle, watching Wallace dance around Conner as if he were a matador. And clearly Conner did not like being the bull, but still he chased after the red headed teen.

"Yeah, kill that bull! Be like real matador!" Dani giggled as she wrapped her arm around Robin, Zatanna smiling softly at the younger boy.

"Olé! Olé!" Wendy had now appeared and was dancing gracefully to dodge Conner, smirking with mirth in her green eyes.

Then Dr. Prince turned to see Shawn fussing over Hunter, Henry, and Ember, only to end up finding Artemis climbing up a tree to hide from Juniper.

"Ma'am?" The police officer asked once more, but Dr. Prince didn't even bother to turn around.

She just waved her hand noncommittally, "Yes, he is... Just... Just sit him down beside that black haired girl..." She muttered, covering her face with her hands. "Why did I push this Field Trip?"
