Sawada Tsunayoshi sighed as he sat on his bed, cross-legged, watching silently as the albino sat across him. Probably thinking the next of his 'tales'. Tsuna shuddered inwardly, he was already mentally damaged right now and he knew that by the time Byakuran was finished, he could be administered into a Mental Institute. The brunet sighed softly, he really hoped that this was something of a peace offering that Mare Ring holder was giving, a bonding experience.

He jumped when Byakuran let out an excited 'Aha!' and turned to him. What Tsuna didn't expect was that Byakuran suddenly made a slightly-guilty looking expression, "Tsunayoshi-kun..."

"Y-yes?"

The albino sighed, "What I'm about to to tell you doesn't really make me laugh. I mean… This one world… Everything was so different… Vongola was nothing… You were living your own choices, happy and content. I… destroyed it…"

Tsuna gasped slowly, "You destroyed the world."

Byakuran grimaced, something so out of his character. "Your world actually. I never heard you blame me for it, but I really made you cry there…"

"Can't you tell me something else then? Something more cheerful?"

The white-head shook his head, "I'm sorry, I can't have you go crazy because I told you all of your romantic escapades…" Byakuran laughed, imagining how close to tears the brunet was by the time he finished telling him the story of him and his Cloud Guardian.

"...What did you do?"

The smile faded away and turned into a pained one, "Well…"

A twenty-two year old brunet weaved his way through the crowd as fast as he can without bumping to people, eager to get home. Today was a tiring day at work and he wanted nothing else but to go home and rest, just like every other day. His boss was a cruel and greedy man, typical people these days. But he needed the money to survive, lest he be poorer than a street rat. That was the only reason no one quite from a job, the other being hard to get one.

He instinctively glanced at the church bell which was tolling in the distance, reminding him of the current time. As usual, he paid no actual mind to it, only listening to the strange tranquility in his heart whenever he heard the large, hollow and strong sound it made. The corner of his mouth twitched, it was a small piece of happiness which existed in this corrupted government.

His eyes trailed his surroundings, brushing over a small hunched figure of white sitting forlornly on a park bench. He walked past the figure before his brain finally processed the child and froze. The brunet turned and looked at the hunched figure, slowly walking towards him. Tsuna nearly wanted to cry at the ignorance of his surroundings, why are people so cruel these days?

"U-uhmm…"

The figure looked up and Tsuna took a step back and suppressed a gasp, he was beautiful. Those lilac colored eyes and the white hair… He then remembered his actual purpose and bit his lip, "A-are you alright?"

The child smiled wanly, "Actually, no. But thank you for taking the time to stop by and ask, most people won't do that anymore these days." He shook his head dejectedly and Tsuna suppressed a wince, though he was surprised at the maturity of the child.

"W-why don't you come with me to my place and clean up. I promise I won't pry into your personal problems unless you tell…"

The albino child's gaze hardened, "Oh really?"

"Yes. I would only like to offer you a place to shower. You are welcome to stay if you want though, I won't mind a roommate."

Tsuna kept his nervous smile as he watched the child contemplate over his choices, he hoped he didn't offend the young one. But then, a smirk appeared along the white-haired child's face and the brunet got a bit of a bad feeling as the stranger leaned forward in interest. "Will there be food included?"

A nod.

"Great!" The child jumped off his seat, thrusting his hands into his jeans pocket and grinned foxily. "Thank you for your hospitality, lead the way please~ My name is Byakuran by the way, Byakuran Gesso."

The brunet smiled pleasantly and nodded, "All right… Let's go… Byakuran-kun. My name is Tsuna."

Byakuran stayed with him since their meeting. Tsuna didn't mind of course, he was actually ecstatic to have someone live with him. He was being pretty lonely after all and the white-haired child was very good company, if you looked past his eccentricities and quirks. He also found out that Byakuran was 15 years old, his malnourished body had made Tsuna originally think that the white haired child was eight years old. But Tsuna didn't mind that either. He was happy now, happier than before.

But he didn't know that Byakuran knew, knew of the fact that he was hurting inside. Hurting from all the torment he was experiencing in his life, the ignorance, the cruelty. And he won't even tell Byakuran, who had been something of a brother to him. The albino frowned, he couldn't understand why Tsuna was so forgiving to them that he just brushed off everything even though he was breaking inside.

The lilac-eyed child frowned, he knew Tsuna was hurting but won't admit it. Maybe it's time to take matters into his own hands?

Tsuna blinked when the albino suddenly paused in talking, "What happens next?"

"...I'm tired, I wanna sleep." The Vongola Decimo twitched, it was getting good, he grudgingly admitted. But if Byakuran was tired... Well, he supposed the rest could wait tomorrow.

"Fine, let's continue this tomorrow."

Byakuran grinned and pulled down the Decimo candidate, earning a yelp from the surprised teen. "B-Byakuran!"

"Be my teddy bear, Tsunayoshi-kun... I'm being very lonely here..."

Tsuna blushed, but didn't push the Gesso don away. He was then surprised in hearing a soft snore from his guest. Looking up, the brown-haired boy smiled when he saw Byakuran's sleeping face. It looked so peaceful and no one would have guessed how the man acted when he was awake. Sighing softly, Tsuna finally relaxed in the warm hug and closed his eyes.

"Good Night."
